The following is an excerpt taken from a famous poem written by
Dorothy Law Nolte
CHILDREN LEARN WHAT THEY LIVE
If children live with encouragement, they learn confidence.
If children live with tolerance, they learn patience.
If children live with praise, they learn appreciation.
If children live with acceptance, they learn to love.
If children live with recognition, they learn it is good to have a goal.
If children live with sharing, they learn generosity.
If children live with honesty, they learn truthfulness.
If children live with fairness, they learn justice.
If children live with kindness and consideration, they learn respect.
If children live with security, they learn to have faith in themselves
and in those around them.
If children live with friendliness, they learn the world is a nice place in which to live.
One Hundred Years From Now
It won’t matter what kind of car I drove
What kind of house I lived in
How much money I had in the bank
Nor what my clothes looked like
But the world may be a little better
Because I was important
In the life of a boy.
Forest E. Witcraft
A heartfelt thank you to these parents, Grandparents, Michele, Barbara, Placido and many others for being so very important in the life of these boys.
~~~Jane~~~
Jane thank you for these beautiful thoughts and photos. What are the chances when they were discovered that our three beautiful boys would all have been raised by very loving and nurturing families and then have their careers launched and guided by more loving and nurturing people that are with them all the time and have become family to them. Because of all this warmth and love they have been surrounded by all their lives they have grown up to be the most loving,kind,caring,humble,respectful and endearing young men in the universe !! They love everyone and in return we love them right back with all our hearts .💕💕
Awesome and very touching!!!! Thank you Jane
Frdm all the people he meets? So I’ll take however & whatever reason he remembered I’m honoured. God bless these precious young men who think & remember us I am so proud of them. I hope their careers & their own family lives soar to the heavens.
Jane, I say amen to everything you wrote. And an amen to everything said above me. And I loved all of those photos. Our guys are really and truly exceptional young men.
Dear Jane what a great post I’m so glad Gianlucca, Ignazio, and Piero have such wonderful strong encouraging families they are part of and I am most grateful to dear Barbara Vitali for watching over those three since they were young. She had done s superb job she is wonderful.
Jane, you can not know how many beautiful memories you call me back when I started reading the first few sentences of poem, because my mom had given her this poem framed and praying me and my brothers to hang in the bedrooms of our future children because both we and they You could always keep in mind these teachings, and I have done the same with my children.
It ‘a blessing that our loved ones Piero Ignazio and Gianluca has been supported by good families and good lessons that have found their way loving people like Michele and Barbara.
Magnificent pictures of their growth.
I love the whole Il Volo family and I include all of The Flight Crew. Was it fate/destiny that sent these boys to these people who became their wonderful parents and put them together to become the very special young men of Il Volo? Whatever it was, I thank God it happened and I am so happy to be here at this place and time to be a part of it. The pictures speak for themselves.
Thank you Jane and I agree Rose Marie. They have grown up with loving and supportive parents, grandparents and their management team. They also we’re exposed at a very young age to beautiful music which they now share with all the world.
