EATALY AND IL VOLO by Daniela

On Wednesday 10 April, Piero. Ignazio and Gianluca warned that they were going to Paris …… we are all wondering, to do what ????

Actually a small clue had already been given by this photo published a few days ago.

The wording says, “with the great Oscar Farinetti of Eataly”.

EATALY 01

For those who don’t know, Oscar Farinetti is an Italian entrepreneur and business manager who founded the Eataly chain. Eataly is a chain of medium and large retail stores specializing in the sale and distribution of Italian food products.

The question could be …… and what does IL VOLO have to do with Eataly and with Paris?

The answer is that April 12 in Paris opens a new store of the Eataly chain, at the La Fayette Gallery.

Wednesday was open by invitation, IL VOLO, delighted all guests with traditional Italian songs.

We could not miss “GRANDE AMORE”.

EATALY 06

IL VOLO with Emanuele Rabotti, owner of an Italian winery based in Franciacorta.

What can I say, the Italian taste for the excellent food, combined with listening to “the beautiful song”, I would say a sublime union.

Even Farinetti seemed enthusiastic about the event.

And after a good music …… at the table …. Piero brought his little sister to Paris.

But perhaps not everyone remembers that IL VOLO has already participated in an opening of EATALY in Milan, in 2014.

Here they are in this short video singing “IL MONDO”.

Too cute, in 2014.

  1. Daniela, another job well done… You posted some truly great pictures along with the article… They boys are everywhere.. They are making their Anniversary year be a huge success by being booked everywhere in the world… I love that this is happening for Il Volo…

    1. Thanks Jeannette, always too kind.
Did you remember that IL VOLO had participated in another Eataly opening?
For me it was a surprise, in that time, I still didn’t follow them.
You are right, they are super required everywhere!

  2. I will be visiting my daughter for Easter in Chicago. She has been to the Etaly there!! Maybe a visit would be possible! The food and the atmosphere looks fabulous. Of course, it would be even better if Il Volo showed up!!😍

    1. I agree with you Annette, if IL VOLO was there, it would have been the top. Good food and good music, what more do you want?

      1. Well Daniela: I am in Chicago and I got my wish by having lunch at Eataly!! Just fabulous!!

  3. We have been to Eataly at Madison Square in New York. It is really fabulous. I wish we had one in Washington.

    1. Frank, you can always hope, and maybe, there will also be IL VOLO, at the inauguration. Fingers crossed.
If you have to hope, do it for the whole dream. 🙂

  4. How sweet is it that Piero brought his sister to Paris with him! She must be what, .. 18? 19?.. I wish we had a EATALY out here In Oregon or even Northern California…perhaps one in Las Vegas?

  5. During this season of Easter I would like to offer you this reflection….

Listening to IL VOLO sing is like “touching the hem of Jesus’s robe and being healed,” or touching the Pope’s hand and being blessed—it is the same thing, love embodied, love out-pouring, love extended to all in IL VOLO’s unique and heartwarming Italian style.

    God bless IL VOLO!
And God bless Daniela for her tireless efforts on our behalf— I so appreciate you

  6. Cristaldawn, your thoughts are very beautiful, but in my case you are exaggerated. Do not make me blush. I thank you for the thought but it is really exaggerated.

Where are you on your journey?
