Ok, I’m sure most of you have seen the new dates and have already decided which concert/s you will be attending. I waited a bit to post this as I had a few questions myself and I wanted to figure some things out before I posted it. I should have looked at my regular email first! lol! Oh well, but here you go!
FOR THE FAN CLUB – Everyone is asking! Yes, it’s simple and yet it’s complicated! I easily “renewed” yesterday from my phone and almost instantly received the receipt for the payment, etc. However, likely due to my phone email controls, I never saw the email with the code come through, so I was waiting. (I looked today and it was in my regular gmail account – very clear)
(when you get to the site, when I signed up, the English link was not working, it may be fixed by now, so I clicked on the Spanish link and it worked!)
Oddly, the activation code email comes from WordPress. Technically, you will get 3 emails. One confirming your purchase with the invoice, one from PayPal, if you do it that way, and the third is the one that has the activation code in it, from WordPress. When I actually followed the instructions in the letter that comes with the activation code – it’s in all 3 languages (and finally got into the site) the code was already in there and I just had to click on it to activate it. Just FYI, you will actually be accessing the Fan Club Site, not just the Il Volo Music.com site. I would suggest signing up on the site first – that is the trickiest part… However, once you get through all of that, it’s very quick and easy!
I did find some useful info on there, which I will print below. Stefania is one of the ladies that runs the Fan Club site and is answering some very important questions a few folks had…. they are posted below:

Stefania, this is very helpful. Thanks so much. I do have one more question. When I joined the fan club originally, I signed up as M. However, I have seen comments that if you are lucky enough to be able to attend a sound check before the concert, you must show identification that matches your Il Volo profile exactly. Unfortunately, all of my identification is with my first name as M. Do I need to change/edit my profile to my more formal name, even though my billing info is M? Sorry if this is confusing!! I appreciate all of your help with everyone!

Hi no problem. As per your question, if I remember correctly, you’ll just have to edit your name on your profile at the time you sign up so it will match up to your Il volo profile as well as your ID if they ask for it.
Ok, I’m sure you will still have questions, etc. We’ll do our best to answer. I did ask on the Fan Site an idea of how much tickets will cost for VIP packages, etc. I’m anticipating $$$…

Are we no longer getting first preference to the show as we did last year or am I mistaken that we can order tickets now.
1. Yes, you can pay with your credit card, via PayPal. That’s what I did. It’s an option when you get to that part.
2. Yes, fan club members get to buy tickets starting on Tuesday, November 9th. Live Nation presale starts on Wednesday.
3. You need to purchase the membership in order to have access to the fan site, to get the pre-sale ticket code. That is different from the actual membership activation code.

If you look at ticketmaster, not all cities are listed. Some cities use their own theatres to sell the tickets. Unfortunately, the tour listing only lists the cities. SO, if the city you are planning to attend is not listed, you may want to do a search on your major area theaters to see if they are there.
Martha said san francisco will be at the Orpheus and presale info is direct on their site.
I know Rose also noticed this for the fort myers, fl concert as well.
Your activation code is only used to get you onto the fan club site. The code that the fan club will put on their site on 11/9 will be the code to use to buy your actual tickets with Ticketmaster. Don’t panic if the fan club is a little late on posting their code for Ticketmaster. For the 2020 concerts in America they were 1/2 hour late. Also, don’t buy tickets prior to 11/9 from some other company selling tickets. They are doubling their prices and ripping people off. Happens all the time.

I renewed my fan club membership on 10/1 paying with PayPal. Now when I try to log onto the fan club it tells me that I need to renew my membership. Has anyone else had this problem?
Yes, something similar happened to me a few years ago. I ended up buying 2 membership renewals, but they were really goid at refunding me the 2nd one. I would just order another one, save everything, and then tell them you had to do it twice and ask for refund.
thanks Jana. This information is really helpful. The fact that 2 of the venues I want to attend are not selling through Ticketmaster might be problematic. Fantasy Springs is not even listing the Il Volo concert on their schedule yet. Maybe by Tues they will list it. It would be hard to buy tickets to an event not even listed at the venue. The San Francisco venue is selling only the expensive VIP packages Tues and Wed. the more reasonably priced general admission tickets go on sale on 11/11 to the general public and not sure how good these remaining seats will be at that point. Guess we will see how this all works out.

Something similar happened to me also, I just kept going back and forth and it finally worked. Do not worry, there is just one fan club, the language is just in Spanish but easy to figure out.
I am very happy that the tour dates are out, all of you have been waiting with so much emotion.

Also, very good advice from Susan Medal!! Be sure to purchase tickets from reputable site! It’s very easy to be lured away and you think you are buying legit seats at legit prices.
I clicked on our fox theater site and it listed the concert, but when you clicked on it, looking for tickets, it took you to another ticket site. Prices were crazy, like nearly $300 for mid section main floor.
$300 is nothing. In Toronto the main floor seats say $750!!!!!!!!!
I can’t believe those are the prices. At least I am hoping they are not.
Will see on the 9th. But if those are the prices I will have to forego the concert, let alone the M & G.

I am so disappointed they are skipping San Diego on this tour! I had been waiting so long like lots of others I am sure. I just wonder why as they usually come here then to L.A. I f I wasn’t so old and had someone to drive me I would go to L A.

I am only about 2 and a half hours from L. A by car but at my age I no longer drive at night and don’t think I can manage the flight and all that goes with trying to get around in L A . They were in San Diego their last two tours here so I just wondered why they skipped us this time ? Sure hate to miss them this time. My CD just arrived so guess I will just have to be satisfied hearing that.

Im having so much trouble. I bought my membership. apparently fan club does not like my email address or any of my passwords. I have my activation code 7GY56 but i cannot activate it because I can’t get my email address and passcode to be accepted. Please help me before tomarrow ticket sale.
I’m so sorry. Many seem to be having various issues…. all I can suggest is to play around with it a bit and see if you can get in. You were obviously able to get in and do the purchase so it’s in there somewhere.
You can try contacting them, but not sure they will be able to respond in time.
FYI for anyone going to concert in Ft. Myers, I talked to them at the Suncoast Credit Union Arena and they aren’t selling tickets until next week. I asked her what day and she said she thought probably Friday but I would start looking around Tuesday. Hope this info helps a little bit for April the 8th concert.
That info is for the general public and is not the information for the fan pre-sale that starts tomorrow. You should be able to get them through ticketmaster tomorrow if you have the fan club code. Which is supposed to appear on the fan website tomorrow at 10 AM.
My fan club keeps telling me that I need to register but I have already done that but won’t let me into the fan club site. Hopefully maybe tomorrow. I sent them a notice of the problem so hope they remedy the problem. Fingers crossed.

For those of you who are having concert ticket issues and may not be able to attend, believe me the CD is the next best thing. Mine arrived 11/8 and it is truly beautiful and I think seals their place on the music map for all time as distinctive artists, which we already knew. It’s a slightly different sound for them, but no mistaking, it is Il Volo through and through-beautiful lyrics, melodies, instrumentation and delivery. I could ramble on but will shut up now.
I don’t think so! The Toronto Meridian Hall website was showing tickets on the orchestra level at around $750. But when I entered through the fan club site the tickets were MUCH less–half of that and more than half. Go though the presale and you will see the prices are much more reasonable.
Hi Jana. That was from Ticketmaster this AM and it’s not front row. The medium “good “ seats are in the $5s. We are appealing to the younger generation? Buona Fortuna!

I have front row and second row seats to two venues.I’m so excited. I have to drive 4 hours to get there but there’s nothing closer to me. I would only do this for our guys. Thank you again.

Well, don’t understand with all the crazy prices, come to Detroit! They had vip pkgs for around $500, but they weren’t front row. We got front row for $200 and 2nd row for $175, seats only….
I don’t know if it is different here. I had a little trouble but not much. First the Fanclub refused to load. Then Ticketmaster said something I still don’t understand and refused to load also. Then by mistake I closed the page and had to go back and reload the fan club page. The second time, once I got back into the fan club page, ticketmaster loaded. I was second in line and only had to wait a minute or two to get in. Then I was able to view the tickets. But I have to say, the way they display what tickets are available is very confusing. All jumbled up–a list that goes from the orchestra to the balcony to the orchestra to the mezzanine with no order that I could see, and you had to scroll through all of it while looking at a seat map to see where those tickets were located. There has to be a better way of doing it!

My CD comes today. I got my prices from the seating map as listed on TM. My tickets will come in a box at Christmas for sure . And they better be good!! I’m not having any fun since I passed the buck to #2 son. You are better than good to everyone. Amen.

I finally got through to the box office sales, and they don’t have tickets for fan club members, only for the general public which start Friday. That’s why Il Volo is not listed on their roster yet.
I wish Ticketmaster would hurry up and put tickets on sale for us fans, although it looks like there are no rooms left in that hotel.
Well, I missed out again☹️First I was supposed to go to Vegas, but that was cancelled. Now, even if I could get tickets for Fantasy Springs, there are no vacancy’s in that hotel.I checked other hotels nearby and they want $500.00 a night!!!!!

I have set up my fan club account, have the activation code, have my Ticketmaster account, logged in there. It is Nov. 10, so should be able to access presale. But when I check on the date (4/17 for Phoenix concert), I can see no way to book tickets using presale MAEOSTRO22 code, or to book a VIP package. Just getting regular listing with regular prices. Anyone can help, please?
In order to get the presale, you have to go to the fan club page that lists the concerts, and click on the one you want. That brings you to the ticketmaster presale, where you enter the code and if you already have an account sign in. Don’t sign into ticketmaster independently from the fan club. If that is what you have been doing that is what the problem is.

I an the lady who wrote the story that Susan DiBartoli posted a few months ago about my husband (former professional baritone singer and a Gianluca clone) passing away in 2020, being unable to grieve for him for almost a year, then suddenly grieving completely and openly after hearing online recording of Gianluca singing “Mi Mancherai” in Rome. My life completely changed after that. I was able to let out my grief, to heal, and move on to develop an absolutely amazing new life.
I would like to be able to thank Gianluca for that, and hope I can stay composed enough to do so when I meet him.

After you sign in you are on a page that should be newsfeed. If it is not that page then click on newsfeed on the list on the left. The first white box says in small gold letters on the bottom “Discover all the dates”. Clcik on that. That will bring you to the tour dates. Scroll down until you get to the venue you want and click on that. You should get in!

Just now see that Ticketmaster “does not have tickets for this event” and they sent me to Etix, where I am reluctant to pay full price and perhaps not get tix from a 2nd tier provider! Anyone know if Ticketmaster will have tix for Phoenix available at a later date, or has anyone been able to book for that date yet?
Ft. Myers isn’t doing M/G. Had to find what was left over at Sunrise M/G. Although, it happens to be my birthday on the day at Sunrise. Igna gave me the most romantic 4 to 5 minutes that I will never forget last year at M/G. Peiro evan said I was a beautiful woman. Very special night they gave me. Jana, if we ever meet some day, I will tell you the whole story. Thanks for all your help. Fan club helped solve my problem with activation.

The list on the Fan Club has the theatres. For Fort Meyers it says Suncoast Credit Union arena. Hope that helps!

Before you buy tickets at Sunrise, I would wait for Tuesday, and see if Ticketmaster shows Fort Meyer. It definitely is on the list on the website.

I am so disappointed they are skipping San Diego on this tour! I had been waiting so long like lots of others I am sure. I just wonder why as they usually come here then to L.A. I f I wasn’t so old and had someone to drive me I would go to L A.

I am only about 2 and a half hours from L. A by car but at my age I no longer drive at night and don’t think I can manage the flight and all that goes with trying to get around in L A . They were in San Diego their last two tours here so I just wondered why they skipped us this time ? Sure hate to miss them this time. My CD just arrived so guess I will just have to be satisfied hearing that.

Im having so much trouble. I bought my membership. apparently fan club does not like my email address or any of my passwords. I have my activation code 7GY56 but i cannot activate it because I can’t get my email address and passcode to be accepted. Please help me before tomarrow ticket sale.

I’m so sorry. Many seem to be having various issues…. all I can suggest is to play around with it a bit and see if you can get in. You were obviously able to get in and do the purchase so it’s in there somewhere.
You can try contacting them, but not sure they will be able to respond in time.

FYI for anyone going to concert in Ft. Myers, I talked to them at the Suncoast Credit Union Arena and they aren’t selling tickets until next week. I asked her what day and she said she thought probably Friday but I would start looking around Tuesday. Hope this info helps a little bit for April the 8th concert.
That info is for the general public and is not the information for the fan pre-sale that starts tomorrow. You should be able to get them through ticketmaster tomorrow if you have the fan club code. Which is supposed to appear on the fan website tomorrow at 10 AM.
My fan club keeps telling me that I need to register but I have already done that but won’t let me into the fan club site. Hopefully maybe tomorrow. I sent them a notice of the problem so hope they remedy the problem. Fingers crossed.

For those of you who are having concert ticket issues and may not be able to attend, believe me the CD is the next best thing. Mine arrived 11/8 and it is truly beautiful and I think seals their place on the music map for all time as distinctive artists, which we already knew. It’s a slightly different sound for them, but no mistaking, it is Il Volo through and through-beautiful lyrics, melodies, instrumentation and delivery. I could ramble on but will shut up now.
Sit down ladies. Orchestra center row L in Boston. $1,288. EACH!!!
I don’t think so! The Toronto Meridian Hall website was showing tickets on the orchestra level at around $750. But when I entered through the fan club site the tickets were MUCH less–half of that and more than half. Go though the presale and you will see the prices are much more reasonable.
That can’t possibly be right? Detroit is only $200 for front row, seats only… got them! 😄

Jana, I just wanted to thank you for all your help and information. I hadn’t purchases tickets thru the fan club before. It took me awhile but it worked out well. I have front row and second row seats to two venues.I’m so excited. I have to drive 4 hours to get there but there’s nothing closer to me. I would only do this for our guys. Thank you again.

I also got good seats, but it was frustrating! Wouldn’t go through, etc had to use work computer. Got 2 front row and 2 2nd row right on aisle. And helped 2 other folks buy tx.

Well, don’t understand with all the crazy prices, come to Detroit! They had vip pkgs for around $500, but they weren’t front row. We got front row for $200 and 2nd row for $175, seats only….

I don’t know if it is different here. I had a little trouble but not much. First the Fanclub refused to load. Then Ticketmaster said something I still don’t understand and refused to load also. Then by mistake I closed the page and had to go back and reload the fan club page. The second time, once I got back into the fan club page, ticketmaster loaded. I was second in line and only had to wait a minute or two to get in. Then I was able to view the tickets. But I have to say, the way they display what tickets are available is very confusing. All jumbled up–a list that goes from the orchestra to the balcony to the orchestra to the mezzanine with no order that I could see, and you had to scroll through all of it while looking at a seat map to see where those tickets were located. There has to be a better way of doing it!
Thanks Jana. You should go for FREE. I could fly to Detroit for $39. Go to the show for $200, and fly home for $39. Great time for $280. !
My CD comes today. I got my prices from the seating map as listed on TM. My tickets will come in a box at Christmas for sure . And they better be good!! I’m not having any fun since I passed the buck to #2 son. You are better than good to everyone. Amen.

I have up on Fantasy Springs, and got tickets in San Antonio since I have to fly anyway. Rooms were hard to find in Indio too and really expensive.

I finally got through to the box office sales, and they don’t have tickets for fan club members, only for the general public which start Friday. That’s why Il Volo is not listed on their roster yet.
I wish Ticketmaster would hurry up and put tickets on sale for us fans, although it looks like there are no rooms left in that hotel.
Well, I missed out again☹️First I was supposed to go to Vegas, but that was cancelled. Now, even if I could get tickets for Fantasy Springs, there are no vacancy’s in that hotel.I checked other hotels nearby and they want $500.00 a night!!!!!
Nothing posted for Ft Myers either. The lady at arena yesterday said next week for sales. I do the meet and greet packages so probably fan club prices won’t help. Still can’t get into club website. Asked for my money back.
I checked Clearwater and it’s direct on venue site. Prices similar to Detroit….

I have set up my fan club account, have the activation code, have my Ticketmaster account, logged in there. It is Nov. 10, so should be able to access presale. But when I check on the date (4/17 for Phoenix concert), I can see no way to book tickets using presale MAEOSTRO22 code, or to book a VIP package. Just getting regular listing with regular prices. Anyone can help, please?
In order to get the presale, you have to go to the fan club page that lists the concerts, and click on the one you want. That brings you to the ticketmaster presale, where you enter the code and if you already have an account sign in. Don’t sign into ticketmaster independently from the fan club. If that is what you have been doing that is what the problem is.

I am unable to get M & G tickets this time, so I will be looking forward to everyone’s descriptions and experiences. The worst of it is being tongue tied. When you see them up close and personal everything you wanted to say just flies right out of your head!

I an the lady who wrote the story that Susan DiBartoli posted a few months ago about my husband (former professional baritone singer and a Gianluca clone) passing away in 2020, being unable to grieve for him for almost a year, then suddenly grieving completely and openly after hearing online recording of Gianluca singing “Mi Mancherai” in Rome. My life completely changed after that. I was able to let out my grief, to heal, and move on to develop an absolutely amazing new life.
I would like to be able to thank Gianluca for that, and hope I can stay composed enough to do so when I meet him.

After you sign in you are on a page that should be newsfeed. If it is not that page then click on newsfeed on the list on the left. The first white box says in small gold letters on the bottom “Discover all the dates”. Clcik on that. That will bring you to the tour dates. Scroll down until you get to the venue you want and click on that. You should get in!

Just now see that Ticketmaster “does not have tickets for this event” and they sent me to Etix, where I am reluctant to pay full price and perhaps not get tix from a 2nd tier provider! Anyone know if Ticketmaster will have tix for Phoenix available at a later date, or has anyone been able to book for that date yet?

Ft. Myers isn’t doing M/G. Had to find what was left over at Sunrise M/G. Although, it happens to be my birthday on the day at Sunrise. Igna gave me the most romantic 4 to 5 minutes that I will never forget last year at M/G. Peiro evan said I was a beautiful woman. Very special night they gave me. Jana, if we ever meet some day, I will tell you the whole story. Thanks for all your help. Fan club helped solve my problem with activation.
Wow, that must have been a special Birthday. Mine is on March 18th when they are in New York. Would have loved that on my Birthday ! unfortunately I live in NC and couldn’t get the tickets here this time around .Maybe someday I will meet them 🙂
