IL VOLO WORLD TOUR: SOFIA and MADRID by Daniela

Il Volo has therefore reached the last three concerts for this long tour full of successes, warmth and applause.

November 2 BULGARIA

Exactly in SOFIA at the National Palace of Culture.
Il Volo will hold two concerts on the same day, one in the afternoon and one in the evening, evidently there was a lot of demand for tickets.
This summary video published by BG SOUND with these beautiful words:
“An entire unforgettable day with our beloved Il Volo! Room 1 of the National Palace of Culture was music, colors, beautiful longings and romance… it was Italy!
Il Volo once again demonstrated to the Bulgarian public how special she is to them, and the public responded with all their love.
Check out this Great Love for Each Other in the special video we created for you!”

GRANDE AMORE

Some great moments with little fans 🥰
This time I want to share with you these beautiful black and white photos taken during rehearsals.
And these during concerts.
And so the last date of the tour in SPAIN has arrived and exactly:

6 November MADRID

The concert was at the WIZINK CENTER.
My Spanish friend Carmen, who met Il Volo during Eurovision 2015, had never seen their live concert and this time in Madrid, she finally got to see and hear them.
Needless to say, she was enthusiastic and we will soon read her review here.
It was a very heartfelt tour finale, Piero Ignazio and Gianluca sang several Spanish songs and added songs until they sang 30 in total and they always spoke in Spanish with their audience.

ARANJUEZ 🥰

UN AMORE COSÌ GRANDE (in Spanish)

CAPOLAVORO

This video was published by Sony Classical Spain with these words:
“Il Volo great evening in Madrid which concludes its European tour.”

SOMOS NOVIOS

This is the only solo sung by Ignazio in Madrid. Before starting, Ignazio made a beautiful dedication to his wife and all the lovers. (I translate spannometrically)
IGNAZIO= What a romantic this teacher is.
Well, I want to tell you a story and I hope to be as brief as possible.
In my life I have always wanted the value of family, the value of love, not only with respect to my life but also thinking about who the love of my life could be, and I always thought I couldn’t have it because they were just words. Last year life surprised me, it gave me the moment in which I met the person who is now my wife (applause). I’ll just tell you one thing, I had reached a point that I was tired and rightly so when I have to understand or explain that I understand what love is, when they ask me “Why do you love her?” I can’t give explanations because I talk about the best things in the world and this is the truth of love, when you don’t explain why you love someone so. So I dedicate the next song to all the people who are in love or who are falling in love and to all of you.

AMOR VIDA DE MI VIDA

HALLELUIAH

Piero begins the presentation of the song by dedicating it to all the people of Valencia who are suffering from the flood.
The result is a very long round of applause from the people who appreciate and share their thoughts for the many victims of Valencia and for all the people who are suffering. 😥🙏
The beautiful and moving words of Il Volo for the people of Valencia were also taken up by the Spanish news.
WOMAN= The world of music is close to the tragedy of Valencia. The Italian group Il Volo who sang in Madrid dedicated the concert to the victims of Valencia and were very moved by what had happened.
IGNAZIO= When these tragedies happen, they don’t just affect the country where it happens, but they affect the whole world.
MAN= They dedicated the concert to the victims of the flood, the Italian group Il Volo.
PIERO= Tonight we dedicate the concert to all the people who are suffering from what is happening in Valencia and we hope that with our music we can provide a moment of comfort.
I found this beautiful photo of Gianluca accompanied by these beautiful and appropriate words that I propose to you:
“Interpreting the great songs of the past is like knocking on the door of the soul of the person who created those words, trying to understand the silences, the unspoken emotions, the silent desires.
It’s not just about singing a melody, but about immersing yourself completely in it, making it resonate in your being, like an actor who merges with his character. It is a heavy responsibility, because interpreting is much more than performing: it is giving new life to an art that does not belong to you, but which you choose to cherish for an instant, with the reverence of someone who knows they are passing through something eternal.”
Some photos of the concert.
I’m really super happy that the tour is over and was a great success every step of the way.
It was tiring but worth every single moment of joy, hard work, love from all the fans.
Do you think that between the Sofia and Madrid dates, since there were four days, the boys rested? In reality they made a trip to Milan where they recorded their presence in the episode of the Italian television show ZELIG which will be broadcast before the end of the month on Canale 5.
Short amateur video of ZELIG recording
However, with the concert on November 6th in Madrid the tour is over and so do you think that the boys are finally resting? Once again no!!
Today is November 8th and Il Volo is already in Chile where it will participate in the TELETHON charity event!
Gianluca’s photo
But then will they rest? Not yet! Why did a newspaper give this news:

At the G7 on Tourism in Florence there will also be a concert by “Il Volo”

The appointment with the meeting of ministers is from 13 to 15 November. The musical group will perform on the evening of the 14th at the gala dinner at Palazzo Gondi.
From 13 to 15 November Florence hosts the meeting of the G7 Tourism ministers, the first in history to be entirely dedicated to the sector. The meeting will be chaired by Minister Daniela Santanchè. The ministers and heads of delegation from Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Italy, the United Kingdom, the United States of America and the European Union will meet at a discussion table on Tourism, to affirm the right political recognition for the sector, in consideration of its economic, social and cultural importance.
I really don’t have any more words, but so much admiration for Gianluca, Piero and Ignazio for all these numerous commitments.
You guys are formidable, but you too are not made of steel so take care of yourselves and…..full speed ahead!!
See you very soon: Daniela 🤗

  1. What can I say but Thank You Daniela and Pat for giving us another column on the World Tour 2024 of our amazing young men! The videos, commentary and music were wonderful.

I especially like the videos of our Three with their younger fans. Such love and affection is heartwarming to say the least. Gianluca is so truly captured by their young and future conquests. They will always have adoring fans who love them, as we older fans do. Hugs, Dol. 🧡🧡🧡

    1. Dolores, it was a truly beautiful tour with many beautiful emotions and much affection from the people. It makes me especially happy to see even the youngest fans attracted to this type of music.

  2. Thank you, always, for sharing videos, stories, comments and love for ” our guys.”. They have allowed themselves to ” belong’ to all of us who love them. ❤️

    1. Yes Gin, they gave themselves a lot, they “sowed and reaped” a lot of affection, they didn’t spare themselves, to the joy of all of us fans.

  3. So many beautiful moments–grazie mille, Daniela and Pat (hoping your hand is doing well.). Ignazio’s speech brought tears, and Somos Novios is a favorite of mine that I wish he would record. Aranjuez and Amor de Ma Vida were wonderful. Looking forward to the next chapter of loving IL Volo!

    1. Yes thank you pat and Daniela for all of the great pictures and videos of them singing . I think I sent this to wrong person but let Daniela know

      1. Thank you and I deleted everything. No facebook, instagram, zangi, what up, too too and i talked to Apple support too. I have great people who helped me and Cindi too. Take cares d love ya too . Cindi called Italian police and others and the Nigerian government too
        Thank you everyone ❤️❤️❤️
Love you Il volo ! I hope they come to Pittsburgh USA🙏

    2. Judi, my friend who was at the concert in Madrid said that Ignazio was very open to talking about his affections and he was also very happy and we are for him.
I really like the songs in Spanish and I think they finished the tour on a high note.

    3. You’re welcome, Judi! 😊 My hand is healing well. Thanks for your concern. It will be one week tomorrow. I have even started to use it a bit on my keyboard. Going very slowly of course! 😃

  4. Daniela & Pat, Thank you both for the time and energy you devoted to bringing this tour to all of us. I especially loved the moment of consolation in Madrid for all those effected by the flooding in Valencia. Very powerful.
Here is hoping for an announcement of the 2025 American Tour will come soon. Until then, these videos look and sound especially good.

    1. Martha, that moment particularly moved me and the reaction of the people, everyone was very moved by the Hallelujah dedication for the Valencia disaster. Once again our boys showed a big heart towards people in difficulty.

    2. You’re welcome, MARTHA! 😊 I am also anxiously awaiting the announcement of the USA tour dates. I have missed the last tour due to Covid when they canceled their last three showsand the one before that due to my back surgery so I’m more than ready to see the guys live once again! 😍

  5. They are definitely hard workers and hope they stay healthy. I feel that these will be their most productive years because in 10 years who knows where they will be. Marriage (one down and two to go), babies, a slower pace due to these commitments but hopefully still giving us beautiful music. We wish it will never end but life keeps changing. We wish you well Piero, Gianluca and Ignazio and will love you always ❤️❤️❤️

    1. Irene, I agree with your words, but for the moment let’s enjoy all the availability that our treasures give us.

  6. Thanks so much Daniela and Pat! It is pleasure call bask my emotions again and again 🙂
But I’d love to mention some differences between computer and telephone versions of the site. Some links are missing when I’m opening the site on the computer, wish surprises me. Of course, this is not such a problem, I still have a choice 🙂

    1. Thanks Toni for the compliments.
As for the missing links on the computer, I’ll refer the matter to Pat, she is the expert in this field and she will definitely give you an answer!

    2. You’re most welcome, Toni! When you say the videos are missing are you saying that there is a space with no video in it or is it just taking a very long time for them to load? Some of these posts get really long and even for me with a fast Internet connection sometimes it takes a while for them to show up. Also I recommend trying a different browser. If you’re using Google Chrome then try Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer to see if that makes a difference. I don’t know if any security features on your browser would cause things not to load. I’m not as knowledgeable about some of that. I hope what I have suggested might help you.

      1. Hello, Pat you are so sweet. Right now I can just keep silence, because my phone and my computer obviously are going on strike :-))) I can’t open anything completely. I guess the reason is the browser. It’s the same on both. I hope to make it work, but if not so, I’ll ask for help 🙂 Sending hugs!

  7. oh Daniela, thank you. so beautiful – our boys, their words too – much depth. – Ignazio’s words on finding his partner in life.. Gianluca’s words on having the honor of being the vessel for someone else’s creation / song

.. and your post – so thorough and fulfilling.
    Grazie from my heart 🥰

    1. Thank you Cynthia, I believe that Ignazio’s words are of deep love towards his wife and I am happy about it.
That comment about Gianluca is really nice and appropriate, which is why I wanted to post it. I am happy with this publication to have kept you company and lifted your heart.

      1. Beautiful pictures and videos of the guys. They are so handsome and talented Italian Il volo men

  8. Thank you Daniela and Pat for taking us to all the concerts. They were all so wonderful. It was so nice to see the love shown by the fans and returned to them by Ignazio, Piero and Gianluca. They always show such compassion for the people wherever they are. I hope they get a chance to rest and do some activities that they enjoy other than performing. They certainly deserve it. And Pat take care with your hand.

    1. Cathy, they have actually been very busy on tour and deserve a bit of rest, but there are already many commitments scheduled so we will see them very soon. Meanwhile they have already returned from Chile and are in Italy.

    2. You’re welcome, Cathy! 😊 My hand is healing nicely and I’m actually using it a bit. Thank you so much for your concern! 🤗

  9. Thank you both for the photos of the boys in concert ,they deserve a break they must be worn out .i saw them in London they were amazing ,only thing we were not allowed to use phones ,and they didnt come down from the stage ,but still enjoyed regards

    1. Thanks Pamela, yes we were told that in London telephone recordings were banned, that they did not get off the stage and also that there was a break in the middle of the concert, which they never do, so we believe that these are imposed rules by the venue or concert promoters.
