Il Volo triumphs in Zurich: a memorable concert at the Hallenstadion and the announcement of their new 2026-2027 world tour.
The Hallenstadion provided the backdrop for an intense evening where the audience attentively followed a musical journey through opera, pop, and Italian and international songs, presented with elegance and stylistic coherence.
One of the evening’s highlights was the announcement of their new world tour, announced directly from the stage. Il Volo will return to Zurich on October 24, 2027, at 8:00 PM, again at the Hallenstadion, for a new date included in their 2027 tour. Tickets are not yet available, but Tuttoitalia, as official media partner, will provide timely updates on the opening of pre-sales.
The official photos of the performance, taken by our photographer Luca Greco, are available here in a dedicated gallery that documents the evening’s atmosphere in detail:
From their television origins to the international scene
The story of Il Volo began in 2009 during the program “Ti lascio una canzone,” where the three young artists stood out for their vocal quality and were subsequently professionally supported by manager Michele Torpedine. Their debut album, “Il Volo,” was well received in the United States and entered the Billboard Top Ten, launching a career studded with global tours, prestigious collaborations with artists such as Barbra Streisand and Placido Domingo, a triumph at the Sanremo Music Festival, and international recognition such as the Marcel Besançon Award at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest.
An ever-evolving musical identity
Over the years, the trio has developed an artistic vision that blends Italian opera tradition with elements of contemporary pop. From projects dedicated to the Three Tenors to tributes to Ennio Morricone, to more recent productions such as Ad Astra International Edition and the single “Tra le onde,” Il Volo continues to evolve without straying from its distinctive style.
The new world tour and the return to Zurich
Yesterday’s concert offered a preview of the atmosphere and artistic direction of the announced tour. The date of October 24, 2027 in Zurich will be the next official date with the Swiss public and is part of a particularly extensive tour spanning Europe, the United States, and Latin America.
At the Zurich concert there was also a very special fan, little Gabriele with his mother Michelle, who came to see his father Ignazio for the first time.❤️💙
In this video during rehearsals, Gabriele is in Ignazio’s arms and with his uncles Piero who compliments him and Gianluca who records everything on video!! 😍😍😍
How sweet, but you will feel even more tender seeing these beautiful photos of Gabriele, mom and dad. 💙❤️❤️
Congratulations to Ignazio and Michelle for this beautiful “masterpiece,” and congratulations to Il Volo for this wonderful tour that’s stopping in many European cities.
December 14 Lisbon
The concert was held at the Meo Arena.
But the next concert is in Portugal, so from Spain to Switzerland and then back through Portugal, then Greece and back to Spain. How do they do it???? In fact, they themselves posted a photo showing them flying on a small private plane.
In the meantime, 15 outdoor concerts have been announced in Italy this summer and my Brescia has also been confirmed and of course I already have the ticket, second row!!
More European concert dates have been announced for 2027……wow guys, what a tour de force you’re in for!!
Another piece of news is that on December 13th here in Italy on Canale 5 the first concert of Mantua 2025 was re-broadcast and for the next two Saturdays we will see the second and third TUTTI PER UNO concerts held in Mantua this year, so a good television binge of Il Volo!!
But the beauty is that wherever you go, you’re eagerly awaited and cheered, and this fills all of us who’ve always followed you with pride, as well as the new fans just getting to know you.
Full steam ahead!!
See you soon for the final three concerts and best wishes for Christmas!
Il Volo has therefore reached the last three concerts for this long tour full of successes, warmth and applause.
November 2 BULGARIA
Exactly in SOFIA at the National Palace of Culture.
Il Volo will hold two concerts on the same day, one in the afternoon and one in the evening, evidently there was a lot of demand for tickets.
This summary video published by BG SOUND with these beautiful words:
“An entire unforgettable day with our beloved Il Volo! Room 1 of the National Palace of Culture was music, colors, beautiful longings and romance… it was Italy!
Il Volo once again demonstrated to the Bulgarian public how special she is to them, and the public responded with all their love.
Check out this Great Love for Each Other in the special video we created for you!”

GRANDE AMORE
Some great moments with little fans 🥰
This time I want to share with you these beautiful black and white photos taken during rehearsals.
And these during concerts.
And so the last date of the tour in SPAIN has arrived and exactly:
6 November MADRID
The concert was at the WIZINK CENTER.
My Spanish friend Carmen, who met Il Volo during Eurovision 2015, had never seen their live concert and this time in Madrid, she finally got to see and hear them. Needless to say, she was enthusiastic and we will soon read her review here.
It was a very heartfelt tour finale, Piero Ignazio and Gianluca sang several Spanish songs and added songs until they sang 30 in total and they always spoke in Spanish with their audience.
NELLE TUE MANI start of the concert and first speech in Spanish followed by start of GRANADA.

This video was published by Sony Classical Spain with these words:
“Il Volo great evening in Madrid which concludes its European tour.”
SOMOS NOVIOS
This is the only solo sung by Ignazio in Madrid. Before starting, Ignazio made a beautiful dedication to his wife and all the lovers. (I translate spannometrically)
IGNAZIO= What a romantic this teacher is.
Well, I want to tell you a story and I hope to be as brief as possible.
In my life I have always wanted the value of family, the value of love, not only with respect to my life but also thinking about who the love of my life could be, and I always thought I couldn’t have it because they were just words. Last year life surprised me, it gave me the moment in which I met the person who is now my wife (applause). I’ll just tell you one thing, I had reached a point that I was tired and rightly so when I have to understand or explain that I understand what love is, when they ask me “Why do you love her?” I can’t give explanations because I talk about the best things in the world and this is the truth of love, when you don’t explain why you love someone so. So I dedicate the next song to all the people who are in love or who are falling in love and to all of you.
Piero begins the presentation of the song by dedicating it to all the people of Valencia who are suffering from the flood.
The result is a very long round of applause from the people who appreciate and share their thoughts for the many victims of Valencia and for all the people who are suffering. 😥🙏
The beautiful and moving words of Il Volo for the people of Valencia were also taken up by the Spanish news.
WOMAN= The world of music is close to the tragedy of Valencia. The Italian group Il Volo who sang in Madrid dedicated the concert to the victims of Valencia and were very moved by what had happened.
IGNAZIO= When these tragedies happen, they don’t just affect the country where it happens, but they affect the whole world.
MAN= They dedicated the concert to the victims of the flood, the Italian group Il Volo.
PIERO= Tonight we dedicate the concert to all the people who are suffering from what is happening in Valencia and we hope that with our music we can provide a moment of comfort.
I found this beautiful photo of Gianluca accompanied by these beautiful and appropriate words that I propose to you:
“Interpreting the great songs of the past is like knocking on the door of the soul of the person who created those words, trying to understand the silences, the unspoken emotions, the silent desires.
It’s not just about singing a melody, but about immersing yourself completely in it, making it resonate in your being, like an actor who merges with his character. It is a heavy responsibility, because interpreting is much more than performing: it is giving new life to an art that does not belong to you, but which you choose to cherish for an instant, with the reverence of someone who knows they are passing through something eternal.”
Some photos of the concert.
I’m really super happy that the tour is over and was a great success every step of the way.
It was tiring but worth every single moment of joy, hard work, love from all the fans.
Do you think that between the Sofia and Madrid dates, since there were four days, the boys rested? In reality they made a trip to Milan where they recorded their presence in the episode of the Italian television show ZELIG which will be broadcast before the end of the month on Canale 5.
Short amateur video of ZELIG recording
However, with the concert on November 6th in Madrid the tour is over and so do you think that the boys are finally resting? Once again no!!
Today is November 8th and Il Volo is already in Chile where it will participate in the TELETHON charity event!
Gianluca’s photo
But then will they rest? Not yet! Why did a newspaper give this news:
At the G7 on Tourism in Florence there will also be a concert by “Il Volo”
The appointment with the meeting of ministers is from 13 to 15 November. The musical group will perform on the evening of the 14th at the gala dinner at Palazzo Gondi.
From 13 to 15 November Florence hosts the meeting of the G7 Tourism ministers, the first in history to be entirely dedicated to the sector. The meeting will be chaired by Minister Daniela Santanchè. The ministers and heads of delegation from Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Italy, the United Kingdom, the United States of America and the European Union will meet at a discussion table on Tourism, to affirm the right political recognition for the sector, in consideration of its economic, social and cultural importance.
I really don’t have any more words, but so much admiration for Gianluca, Piero and Ignazio for all these numerous commitments.
You guys are formidable, but you too are not made of steel so take care of yourselves and…..full speed ahead!!
