TUTTI PER UNO VIAGGIO NEL TEMPO N.1 by Daniela

It is the first of the evenings of Canale 5 where Il Volo will present the concerts TUTTI PER UNO – VIAGGIO NEL TEMPO, recorded in Mantua at the beautiful Palazzo Te.
There is a lot of anticipation on the part of the television audience to understand if, this time too, the ratings will be the maximum of the evening.
I am also ready to enjoy the evening, I did not want to watch the numerous fan videos on purpose even if I was very curious, I tried to maintain the surprise effect as much as possible.
Now that I have seen the entire concert I can say that Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca were as always not only good but also very professional, they entertained and sang with many guests, always putting them at ease and never overwhelming them, like good “hosts”.
I was truly amazed to see the pouring rain, reminding me of my experience two years ago.
Beautiful scenic settings projected on the background of the exedra of Palazzo Te, bright lights have scratched the evening animated also by a beautiful full moon.
A large classical orchestra with the introduction of a rock element (guitars and drums) and a large choir directed by Maestro Marcello Rota and on the piano the inevitable Maestro Grani.
A very high expectation that was as always respected by the skill of our Piero, Gianluca and Ignazio: Il Volo!!
But here is the video of the evening.
I propose both the one from Mediaset that I know is not visible in some foreign areas and the video from YouTube that is not visible in Italy. I hope that everyone can see this beautiful concert.
The warm and always perfect voices of Ignazio, Gianluca and Piero, sweet and sensitive in the heartfelt moments, high and untouchable in the moments of greatest impact, certainly did not disappoint anyone, but as always delighted those who listened to them enraptured.
Step by step I will explain and list the various songs, translating things roughly.
If you want some particular translation let me know without problems.
Enjoy the viewing!!
English subtitles can be activated on the following YouTube video.

A really exciting start with a unique play of lights, Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca enter to the powerful music rock of Europe THE FINAL COUNTDOWN, spectacular!!👏
After the initial greetings to the audience, the thanks to Canale 5 and the hospitality of Palazzo Te in Mantua, the guys tell that the show will also be a journey through time marked by the timer in the background that will decree the year of the song performed.
You hear some guitar chords and the first big guest is introduced: Eros Ramazzotti!!
Eros starts immediately by performing his beautiful song UN’ALTRA TE, him and his guitar, at the end of the exedra, after the audience and at the beginning of the Palazzo. (This performance was recorded on the third evening but in the editing it was inserted in the first concert). 🥰
Eros Ramazzotti is called on stage by the guys. Eros and Il Volo had already sung together years ago. Eros is a good singer-songwriter, his songs are very beautiful and at this point three beautiful duets are born.
Eros sings with Piero ADESSO TU (1986). 🥰
With Gianluca he sings SE BASTASSE UNA CANZONE (1990).🥰
With Ignazio he sings PIÙ BELLA COSA (1996).🥰
Wonderful songs from my youth!!!
Finally, before saying goodbye, Eros sings just one last beautiful song of his: UNA STORIA IMPORTANTE (1985)
It’s time for a duet between Piero and Ignazio on a beautiful song by Albano. There are very few singers who can sing this song with very high notes, compliments to Ignazio and Piero: È LA MIA VITA (2007) 👏👏
It’s the first solo and it’s Gianluca who performs amazingly on the beautiful song by Colplay VIVA LA VIDA (2008).  Bravo Gianluca!👏
It’s time to introduce the female figure who will be the co-host of the evening, the time timer stops on 2009.
PIERO= 2009, it reminds me of a very important date, I even put it in my passport.
GIANLUCA= Maybe it reminds you of something too, I would call it year zero because it’s the year in which the three of us met, the year in which our story together began.
IGNAZIO= We can say that it was born in the studios of TI LASCIO UNA CANZONE (Rai 1), we were very young and none of us would have expected that our life would have completely changed from that moment.
PIERO= Gentlemen, if we have been together for 16 years it’s also her fault.
She is a person to whom we owe a lot, we must thank her and be eternally grateful, she is a great friend, she has always been with us, at our side with text messages on the phone but she has always been there.
GIANLUCA = at TUTTI PER UNO we have the honor of having with us tonight:
G+I+P= Antonella Clerici.
Antonella enters and after the initial greetings, Antonella expresses her emotion and honor of being on stage together with Il Volo.
Then an image of TI LASCIO UNA CANZONE is projected and there is laughter and also memories of how our three guys were at the beginning.
Antonella remembers that Piero was the most serious, Gianluca the dandy and Ignazio the troublemaker and they discover that the three of them are still the same and she can’t believe that Ignazio is now about to become a father.
Antonella confirms her pride in following the various stages around the world of her three children, like a second mother and also remembers that in 2015 when they showed up at Sanremo she called the host of the event saying that Il Volo would surely win and in fact it was so.
At this point Il Volo dedicates to Antonella the always beautiful victorious song: GRANDE AMORE ❤️
Let’s move on to a beautiful song that is part of Il Volo’s repertoire: L’IMMENSITÀ, performed at Sanremo in 1967. 🥰
A short comic moment follows, with Antonella showing old photos trying to make comparisons with our guys. Ignazio is compared to a gladiator. Piero to a scholar. Gianluca to the Sun King! And then a photo of our three guys with long 80s style hair is shown and at the end Ignazio tries to follow in Michael Jackson’s steps. 🤣
Now it’s time for a young guest singer who will perform a duet with Gianluca, she is Gaia and together they duet on the beautiful song L’APPUNTAMENTO (1970), very sweet Gianluca and Gaia!! 🥰
And now it’s time for a great guest, the talented singer-songwriter Gigi D’alessio. He is also a great friend of our kids.
Gigi starts with a beautiful duet with Ignazio, with whom he sings the beautiful NON DIRGLI MAI. (2000) 🥰
Gigi continues by recalling that he also knew the first years of Il Volo when they were very young. Gigi is also a great friend of our kids and they say that he is a special person.
They all perform Gigi’s beautiful song QUANTI AMORI (2004) together and at the end of the performance Gigi talks about a project in favor of Sicilian children. Great!!! ❤️
The concert continues with the song by Pino Donaggio from the Il Volo repertoire, IO CHE NON VIVO (1962). When I hear this song I can’t help but sing! 😍
Now it’s a very sweet moment, on stage there is a solo by Piero who will perform FUNICULÌ FUNICULÀ (1880) and will be accompanied by the very good children of the San Bernardino choir of the city of Chiari.
Let me say that Chiari is a town in Brescia, right near Roncadelle where I live, also the whole orchestra and the adult choir are from Franciacorta which is also an area of Brescia, a great pride of mine!!
The little children are very good with Piero who is very sweet with them. ❤️
Now the comic character of the evening is introduced: Giorgio Panariello who plays a man from the future. With sympathy and many jokes there is a brief comic moment with a space suit that should disappear on command but that doesn’t work.
Finally Panariello introduces the beautiful song by David Bowie performed by a very talented Gianluca reading these beautiful words:
“It was 1972, the world was in pieces, a bit like today. A boy turns on the radio and hears a voice coming from space, it was the voice of a man, a man of the stars, a good alien who doesn’t want to invade but who wants to talk, wants to dialogue.
The alien says – guys you are not alone, there is something out there, there is hope out there.
David Bowie didn’t just give us a song, but a simple, revolutionary message in a time of uncertainty, to tell us that even if the world out there seems gray, there will be a starman ready to tell us that there is still a future.”
STARMAN (1972) 😍
It’s time for another special guest: Fiorella Mannoia, she is a good interpreter with a truly unique voice, she is 71 years old and together with Ignazio she will duet singing the beautiful song by Vasco Rossi from 1996: SALLY.
A wonderful duet! ❤️
And now Il Volo with the beautiful song brought to Sanremo 2024: CAPOLAVORO 🥰
It’s time for a solo, this time it’s Piero who with great professionalism and skill performs the beautiful romance from Tosca: E LUCEVAN LE STELLE ❤️
Giorgio Panariello returns and with him the comic moment of the evening.
As a man from the future, Giorgio brings on stage three innovative musical instruments that are in use in the future and with which Il Volo must get to know because the future concerts will be held on Mars and that is why Katy Perry has already gone to explore the locations suitable for her next live!! 😂😂
Panariello finally asks the guys to try the tools of the future that he brought.
He makes Gianluca try SPHERE which is like a big transparent helmet so that the solar wind doesn’t mess up your hair. Obviously when Gian sings nobody hears anything. 🤣

He makes Piero try the VOICE EXPANDER, but in the end it sounds like a vacuum cleaner tube and Panariello says that at the end of the performance the stage is clean! 🤣

He makes Ignazio try the VIBRAVOX which is used to obtain the vibrato. Needless to say, Ignazio has a lot of fun using it.🤣

In the end Panariello makes the whole audience sing VOLARE using the throat vibrator!! 😂😂😂

All very funny indeed, well done Giorgio Panariello. 👏
After the laughter, the show continues with another welcome guest: MASSIMO RANIERI.
Gianluca and Massimo Ranieri perform a duet on his beautiful song MIA RAGIONE (2020) 🥰
Massimo Ranieni’s voice, despite his age (74 years) is still really strong, congratulations.
At this point Piero, Ignazio, Gianluca and Massimo let loose on a great success by Massimo Ranieri: SE BRUCIASSE LA CITTÀ (1970) I think all of Italy sang it that year.
Furthermore, everyone mentions the movements made back then on that song, too strong!! ❤️
It’s time for a beautiful song by the group CCCP from 1980, later brought to success also by Gianna Nannini, the title is AMANDOTI and Piero performs it with the talented singer Malika Ajane. 🥰
Full speed ahead with an opera aria by Verdi, sung by Il Volo with skill and irony.
The introduction with Antonella Clerici is also done in a comical way.
I remind you that in Rigoletto, this aria is performed in the last act by the Duke of Mantua: LA DONNA È MOBILE (1851). 😍
It’s time for another solo by Gianluca. In the presentation, Gianluca with Antonella, explain that certain songs that remain in history, are born by chance.
This is what happened for this beautiful song by the Beatles. The words were thought up by Paul Mc.Cartney dedicated to Julian, John Lennon’s little son who was sad about his parents’ separation. Later the name Julian was replaced by Jude, and that’s how the beautiful song HEY JUDE (1968) was born, here performed with great skill by Gianluca. 😍
Listening to this beautiful song you all must sing, its words are known all over the world. Written in 1965 and brought to success by Jimmy Fontana, Il Volo sings: IL MONDO 😍
It’s time for a very important guest, he is a great friend and supporter of our guys.
The age advances but the class is intact and the very good tenor PLACIDO DOMINGO, applauded performs in duet with Piero, in French, the beautiful aria AU FOND DU TEMPLE SAINT written by Bizet in 1883.
I must say that Piero holds and conducts this beautiful aria very well, bravo! 👏
Domingo always has nice words for our guys that he always remarks with great affection.
Now Il Volo will sing NESSUN DORMA, the beautiful aria from Turandot and written by Puccini in 1926.
Exceptional conductor Placido Domingo. 👏
The evening continues with a solo by Ignazio. The sweet song was written and brought to success by the talented Mia Martini in 1982: E NON FINISCE MICA IL CIELO
Ignazio performs it with great emotion. 😍
The following song was written and sung with great vigor, by Riccardo Cocciante in 1978.
Later a much sweeter version was performed by the singer Rino Gaetano and it is precisely this version that Piero and Gianluca will perform in this beautiful duet. This song was sung only once by Piero in a live radio broadcast and I must say that everyone immediately liked it: A MANO A MANO ❤️
And here they are all three reunited, our talented Piero, Gianluca and Ignazio who perform with great skill IL MARE DEL SILENZIO presented at Sanremo in 1968 in a duet by Tony Del Monaco and Dionne Warwick. Stupendous! 😍
This next song has become the soundtrack of a beautiful film, we know it very well by now because it is part of the repertoire that is usually sung by Il Volo, but it is always a pleasure to listen to it again, in this case in a duet by Ignazio and Gianluca: UNCHAINED MELODY (1955) 😍
The talented Massimo Ranieri (74 years old) returns to the stage and performs one of his beautiful songs presented this year at Sanremo 2025: TRA LE TUE MANI UN CUORE👏
But how good ABBA were, I think everyone knows them and Ignazio thought of performing a beautiful solo, challenging and full of impact. WE WINNER TAKES IT ALL (1980). Bravissimo Ignazio!!  ❤️
We are almost at the end of the evening and there is a very sweet moment to say goodbye to Antonella who immediately takes the opportunity by entering the stage, to bring a gift to Ignazio for Gabriele, a nice bib on which is embroidered TI LASCIO UN BAVAGLINO, ZIA ANTO, (I leave you a bib, aunt Anto) how sweet.
Then the boys make Antonella sit down and dedicate to her the beautiful song by Aznavour SHE, written in 1974, sung here in the Italian version UGUALE A LEI.
Antonella deeply moved cannot hold back the tears. ❤️
Like all good things, this concert has come to an end.
And what better way to end with the beautiful AD ASTRA. (2024)
Ignazio, Gianluca and Piero did a great job, they spent a lot of energy for a beautiful concert.
Many songs were performed, many of which are not part of the usual repertoire of Il Volo.
It was a celebration of music because space was given to recent songs and ancient arias, with mixed musical tastes, from pop to rock to classical and all well performed.
When the artists are of the caliber of Gianluca, Ignazio and Piero it is a great satisfaction and pride to be able to attend one of their live concerts, because what you see on TV is what you see and hear live, without tricks, without deception but only skill.
The television ratings were once again the highest of the evening, once again rewarding the skills of Il Volo.
Now the second concert awaits us, the one I attended.
See you soon: Daniela 🤗

  1. Thank you Daniela yet again you have given a great review on Il Volos evening.
It sounds so amazing, such lovely songs, arias. Great guests and some funny moments. The guys are so gifted and so professional.
    Really adore them.
I will hope to see it on YouTube if possible.
    Thank you again
    Warm regards
    Fenella x

    1. Loved their concert in mantua . Beautiful concert and all artists, Placido Domingo , massimo ranieri, Antonella clerici and others. Can’t forget Giorgio taking them on future . Love them forever.❤️❤️❤️

    2. Hi Fenella and thanks for the compliments, it was a nice concert.
In the post there is also the you tube version, which however cannot be seen in Italy.

  2. Thank you Pat and Daniela. First of all great pictures at the end. One of the things I appreciate when I watched this on YouTube is when they reach back and sing a song like E La MI Vita. That was an early favorite of mine. Can Piero hit High C?
I thought about that watching a different video.
I’ve been watching a movie made in Sicily and thinking what a shock when they left the beauty of Italy and Sicily to come to the US. When they take a day off between concerts I hope they have a chance to see our wild places. I remember seeing Piero at the Grand Canyon years ago.
I finally figured out how to get a translation to English but your commentary is so useful giving us the background on some things.
Thank you again. We appreciate you.

    1. You’re most welcome, Gail! 😊I haven’t been able to listen to the whole concert yet, but I will right now. I was also surprised to hear a couple songs that they sang long ago. 😀🎶✨

    2. E La Mi Vita – me too, Gail. I remember singing it in Italy with my Italian tour director in 2011! She had their CD and put it on for the whole bus when I asked her about them.

    3. Gail the final photos are truly unique and were published by the official page of Il Volo who this time did a great job.
I already wrote in the post that I really like the song E’ LA MIA VITA and it is also quite difficult. I don’t know much about notes reached, but Piero and Ignazio are spectacular in this piece.

  3. Thank you. Again you have outdone yourself in bringing us to the concert. I enjoyed all the background information about the music and the guests. It was great hearing music new to me as well as some they have not sung for several years. I have watched the concert on YouTube and although I understand only a few words of Italian , watching their body language, hand gestures and facial expressions I could guess and enjoy the interactions on stage. The skit with future musical instruments was very funny. The whole concert was exceptional. I hope next year they are back in Verona which is more accessible to me. Thank you again for all your hard work

    1. Yes I agree. It was a great concert and the future skit was funny. I loved the different artists too. I liked when Antonella gave a baby bib to Ignazio and then they sang to her . Can’t forget Placido Domingo either. Love Il Volo and good luck with upcoming concerts and when baby Gabriele comes. Maybe October 4 , Ignazio birthday! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

    2. Janet, what a shame you couldn’t attend any of the three concerts this time, but I hope it will be next year.
It was a really nice event and I hope with my writing I have dispelled some doubts about what they were doing on stage.
Thank you so much also for the beautiful and welcome birthday wishes you sent me. 😘

You know Luz, the concert was very beautiful and so I can only add a simple explanation of what was happening, since the only language spoken was Italian.
For the rest it was a feast for our eyes and ears, everything was beautiful.

  5. Thank you for the great post, pictures and videos of our guys.
The concert was awesome. Good luck Il Volo with upcoming concerts and when baby Gabriele is born . Maybe Ignazio birthday October 4th? I don’t know when Michelle is due. How is she?
    ❤️❤️😘😘❤️❤️

    1. Thanks Linda, you are always enthusiastic about what we publish.
As for Gabriele’s date of birth there is no news that confirms it and I think it will be kept secret, Michelle is fine, she was at the concert with her two brothers.

  6. Dear Pat and Daniela thank you for putting this amazing concert here on The Crew. All 3 of our young men were fantastic, I have watched GG performing Starman at least 25 times so for, I can’t get enough of it. Grazie mille!

Dear Ina, I hope that thinking about Gianluca during your anesthesia brought a lot of relief and a sweet awakening……..I’m joking, but I hope everything went well.
Anyway Gianluca is a great interpreter, I really like how he performs the hits from some time ago, remaining faithful to the original song while giving it his own special touch!

      2. I only speak English, understand a bit of French and I can understand a bit of Italian! I’m sure your post was lovely 😊

I’d like to take a minute to say to 58daniela, pitterpat and all the wonderful people who write, translate, interpret, post videos , and keep us , the needy greedy fans so current and up to date on the greatest trio in this world OUR BOYS, IL VOLO ❤️🥰❤️
        THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM
        OF OUR HEARTS 💕

    2. You’re welcome, Rose Marie! 😊 The concert was a tremendous production. I kept thinking: how do the guys keep going and going? 😮

    3. Rose Marie, Gianluca seemed to be trying to sound just like David Bowie and what made it so dynamic for me was his dancing. He was having such a good time.
I went back to videos of Bowie singing Starman and he was playing a guitar and was stationary.
Gianluca added so much more charm to his performance.
(Of course Bowie was such a big star that he didn’t have to put the extra work in).

    4. RaseMarie, what can I say, Starman is a song that I have always liked and I must say that the version sung by Gianluca is really special, I also continue to listen to it!!
All three were UNIQUE interpreters with performances from pop to classical passing through rock, who else can do this with such extreme ease?

      1. Thank you Sheila, I am so glad I could help you understand what was said in Italian, thanks for the compliments.

  7. It was great to be able to watch the whole concert. The guys and the guests were all wonderful. Thank you Daniela for the information on the Italian singers and the songs. I don’t know some of the guests and its nice to know more about them. And it was interesting to see the year each song was from. I look forward to seeing the other two concerts.

    1. Cathy, I’m glad you were able to see the whole concert and also that you liked the explanations and the birth years of the songs, think that I had almost written the whole post when for a mistake of mine everything was deleted and I had to write again from the beginning.
      Thanks for the compliments.

  8. What a fantastic show, and I was able to watch the Mediaset version on YouTube! But it makes such a difference to have the dialogue translations from you, Daniela. I really loved the segments with Gigi and with Massimo, and the guys’ duets with each other were beautiful. But Ignazio’s The Winner Takes It All took my breath away. So happy to hear the show had top ratings, but how could it be otherwise?

    1. Yes I agree! And I watched it on mediaset on YouTube too! I love them forever ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

    2. Thanks Judi, I’m really happy that my work is appreciated, I couldn’t translate the whole very long concert, but at least give a basic explanation of what was said, so that you too can understand and in some cases laugh!!
I LOVE THE WINNER TAKES IT ALL, I already liked it from ABBA of which I have the cassettes, but Ignazio did a great solo!

  9. You always tell their beautiful story with so much heart and love that we fall in love with them more and more. You are an incredible artist as well and we thank you massively with love and hugs for all with great appreciation because we love all of their music so very much. We need more of it in the USA.

    1. Dearest Jan, what beautiful compliments you have addressed to me, thank you. Always follow us because there will still be so much to read and discover.

  10. Thank you so much for such a great summary. I loved the first part. The guys can sing with anyone, they are *so* good at adapting to their guests.
I can’t believe I’m saying this but yes I want the weekend to end so that there’s the second part already 😀 I was in Mantua for the second concert and am looking forward to seeing the performance from closer up and am curious how it will be cut and put together.

    1. Klara this is something I also specified, Piero Ignazio and Gianluca, not only do they sing duets with any type of guest, but they also know how to give them the right space without overwhelming them, it’s not easy, it’s about respect and education and they know how to do it well.
I was also at the second concert and I can’t wait to see them, but there’s not much time left, just one day, how wonderful!

  11. It was a really beautiful concert, as were the other two. Eros’ appearance on Sunday was a great surprise, received very enthusiastically by the audience. I must admit that at the first moment when he appeared on the telescreen I thought that it’s not live.
In this first concert, in addition to Eros, there were even more moments from the third concert, such as Giorgio Paraniello or Fiorella Manoia, who sang with Ignazio and Piero on the third day. Thank you Daniela and Pat for this beautiful post and I can’t wait the next concerts, which I have attended and the next posts of course. Grazie di cuore🥰

    1. Yes Jolanta, I really think that the only difference taken from the other two concerts was the presence of Eros Ramazzotti, instead Morandi and also the second song with the children will certainly be moved to the other two nights. Tomorrow night there will be the concert where we met, I can’t wait!!

  12. Jihaaa – I had the YouTube version of the TV-Show work so hubby and I spent the afternoon yesterday slouching on the couch enjoying the full first day concert. Grand! OK – we couldn’t get the English subtitles to work as, apparently, it requited a membership of YouTube I believe. But it was still wonderful to watch. A very special thanks went, however, to you Daniela for your translations of the major words spoken hence likewise giving the skits and spontanious laughs a meaning. You and Pat are doing such a wonderful job for us international fans. Love you and big hugs!

Well, everything has really been said – so I can only repeat that I found the guys in a very fine form and so absolutely pro and skilled in this the very first concert of the three scheduled Canale 5 “Tutti per Uno” ones. Boy, can they ever adapt to any musical genre as well as make young as old and rising stars as legendary artists all feel comfortable on stage and the focus of the moment. Awesome! Applaudable!

For once some of the guest singers were familiar to me to and hence I enjoyed experiencing the guys with Eros Ramazzoti and not the least Placido Domingo. I must admit that I didn’t know what Eros Ramazzoti looked like… so I was a bit surprised to see a grown man – but I knew some of his songs. And funnily enough I did just see that he shall be coming to Copenhagen to perform at our biggest stadium this fall… I wish he would bring his Il Volo friends along! And yes, Placido Domingo is aging – but his pondus and class is still vivid – and you can see how Piero grows and thoroughly enjoys duet-ing with him. Placido did always believe in the guys – and he was ever so right.

The guys brought many new songs to the stage that I did enjoy very much – and I think that especially Gianluca had a great night and was more “present” that Saturday night, where he did indeed do very well but didn’t “beam”. In this concert he excelled in many of his duets and soli. “Starman”, “Hey Jude” and the duet with Ignazio “Unchanged Melody” come right to mind. But all 3 guys seemed to be on top of their game – and I loved Ignazio’s interpretation of the beloved ABBA song “The Winner takes it all”. No, in fact Ignazio took it all! Bravo! And as I wrote last time – Piero does just get better and better at singing his beloved areias. So proud of them all – they have truly turned into top pro world class singers and performers. And at no time did any of them seem to let the pouring rain interfere – “she show must go on”, and so it did.

Well, in a few days you will all be able to watch the Saturday Show – the second one, at which I was one of the lucky ones to be in the audience and experience it live. Albeit pretty well seated at the 7th row, the sight for the audience at Palazzo Te didn’t allow for the best visions with the flat grounds though – so I could hardly see the orchestra and the choir not at all – so I am looking forward to the circular TV-views as well as to watch the guys’ facials, which is always a value-added bonus. Thanks for everything Daniela and Pat and

    many greetings from Kirsten, Denmark

  13. Dear Daniel & Pat – the work you have done on Tutti Per Uno Viaggio Nel Tempo Primera Part is stunning – everything written & translated for our pleasure is truly a masterpiece – what better way for all of us crazy fans to enjoy a few hours leisurely scrolling through your amazing works – I have watched this concert three times on YouTube & no doubt I will be watching it again – I did not hear Gianluca sing ‘Hey Jude’ – I must have somehow missed something – everyone always sings this to me when they greet me haha – I even had birthday greetings uploaded to ‘Facebook’ on my birthday with David Garrett – the world famous German Violinist playing – you guessed it ‘Hey Jude’ – haha – can YouTube cut certain portions of the upload out?? – I wonder – anyway now I can have our lovely Gianluca sing to me – yay!! – what could be better – Piero – Ignazio & Gianluca are becoming the powerhouse of the music world – can not believe how famous they have become & their followers are thousands – the sun is shining brightly here in Queensland – I hope it is shining brightly where you all are – much love to you two gorgeous hearts – flightcrew & all the outstanding fans of IL Volo!!.

    1. You’re most welcome, Jude! 😊 But Daniela does most of the “heavy lifting” as we say. I just make it pretty and publish her stories. 😄 She does a wonderful job! 🧡

    2. Hey Jude! But you really didn’t hear Gian sing your beautiful song, I’d say you’ll have to listen to it several times, it’s magnificent!!
Thanks always for your enthusiastic comments, I’ll wait for you at the publication of the second evening, maybe even today.

      1. Just like everyone else I am thinking this lifestyle is crazy! As much as I love them they are living a dangerous lifestyle! Sure they are healthy men however, they need to live on this earth, not 30,000 feet above it!
Not sure why Ignacio wanted to be a father, he will never be around to see his bambino Gabriele!
I just watched the second concert from Mantua and it was awesome! Could have been a bit shorter but I was amazed all the guest segments- what a spectacular show! I was exhausted watching it!
Now I wait for #3 and will marvel watching it while knowing they are actually in Brazil!
What a life, I pray it will be a long life for them and their entourage!

  14. Thank you for your translation, it looked and sounded amazing ,I wish it were on tv in England, the boys are amazing with their voices, regards

    1. Hi Pamela. I wish they were on TV in the Uk too but also wish they would visit Uk to do some concerts .I watch on YouTube but I don’t think it’s the same as live.
Just wanted to respond to your comment. Hope that’s ok.
      Regards
      Fenella from London

    2. I watched the second episode and it was fantastic. The man dressed up as garibaldi and they sang freedom song . The artists with Il volo were great! I love them all❤️

    3. Pamela you are right, we would all like to see them on TV in our country.
Luckily somehow we managed to offer you the video of the entire concert so you too can enjoy the evening!

  15. Where do they find the time for rehearsals for these mega extravaganzas of guest singers, and stage sets and, of course, their very own performances with orchestra. It takes a lot of work and time I would think to orchestrate these stunning shows. Mark

    1. Mark I asked myself the same thing, they came back to Italy after the U.S. tour and they had a lot of rehearsals in the studio because there are many songs and many are not part of their usual repertoire, also finding the harmony with different artists is not easy, then they flew to Mexico shortly before the concerts in Mantua. Now they are not resting at all, Gianluca held a lesson in a school, all three have already been to Cannes for a private event and now they are in Brazil to participate in a TV show. In short they never stop. Incredible!!

  16. Well, here it is June 3rd and I’ve finally watched all of the YouTube video. An hour last night, an hour this morning and the last hour just finished!!

What wonderful showmen they are, excellent hosts and each superb on their own. Who would have thought they would turn out so beautifully when we first saw them??? The World is fortunate to have them and I am so thankful that I was around to see them perform. So much to be thankful for. Much love to all, Dol 🧡🧡🧡

  17. A note to Daniela: I sent the YouTube link to my niece in British Columbia so she and her Italian husband, Danilo Rosa, could watch the performance.

They enjoyed it so much and Danilo (Dan) had a couple of comments to make. First, his surprise at seeing Placido Domingo, Second, the immense talent of Massimo Ranieri, still being able to hit the high notes, and Thirdly, the venue of the Tea Palace (Palazzo del Te), where he said they are known for explicitly erotic frescoes, which he was glad were not on view!!! Thought you might enjoy his comments. Hugs, Dol.

  18. Thank you for sharing, saw videos love the show performance of ILVOLOMUSIC and guests ❤️ ♥️ ❤️
