So, I wanted to summarize separately all the events our guys attended but in family form and I would say to start with the wedding event of Piero’s brother, Francesco.
The wedding between Francesco and Rita took place on June 12th in Naro, here is a nice summary video.
At the beginning of the video the bride’s friend asks if Francesco will cry at the wedding and Piero responds like this:
PIERO= But Francesco doesn’t cry… (and we see the moment of the bride’s entrance into the church and Francesco who instead gets emotional)
RITA= But at least a tear, two…
PIERO= I’ve never seen him cry, I struggle to imagine him.
…….and instead Francesco gets emotional, indeed, because you know Piero, emotion plays bad tricks and you can’t control your heart….❤️

Torpedine and the entire Ginoble family, including Claudia, were present at the wedding.
In the following video, there is the wait for the bride and groom to leave the church and you can clearly see Claudia turning and giving Gianluca a kiss.😍
As you may have understood, Ignazio and his family were not present at the wedding.

But even in the Boschetto household there was a reason to celebrate, in fact on June 15th Michelle turned 31, here she is while receiving a beautiful bouquet of red roses sent by Ignazio, I would say that Michelle is in great shape and her belly is now visible!!

How did Ignazio Boschetto reach those notes in the original key on the Queen song?
“How did Ignazio reach the notes with that sound? Yesterday we saw the singer who performed on the TV show LIKE A STAR was unable to do this same passage.
It is absolutely not a comparison or a confrontation between the two, I take this episode to explain something that could be useful to singers.
The reasons why Ignazio can do those notes are:
1-Vocal texture, this does not mean that if you are a baritone you cannot do those notes, but reaching them with that sound is not easy.
2- Ignazio did not think of bringing the chest voice up there, but he used mechanism one with consonances of mechanism two, therefore a sort of mix belt.
3- That sound is the result of talent, musical intelligence, training and technique, because that sound requires a certain muscular athleticism, therefore that sound, on that note is not for everyone, but if you understand how to lighten, channel the sound and project it or in any case get there without lowering the tone you can succeed.”

After the wedding in Naro, Gianluca and Claudia took advantage of it, since they were in Sicily to go to Taormina where the Film Festival was taking place.

“We show off our merchandise.” With these ironic words Ercole Ginoble, father of the famous tenor Gianluca of the trio “Il Volo”, talks about the indissoluble bond between his son and his Roseto. Originally from the hamlet of Montepagano, where he still lives with his family, Gianluca Ginoble is promoting Abruzzo in every corner of the world through his singing talent. His father Ercole himself proudly underlined this during the interview given to the editor-in-chief of the Center, Domenico Ranieri: “Gianluca is very attached to Roseto and Abruzzo and, through his activity as a musician, he makes our beautiful territory known throughout the world,” he said.
A commitment that is also reflected in the many television appearances on national networks, where the tenor never misses an opportunity to reiterate his origins: “Piero and Ignazio, the other two members of Il Volo, are Sicilian, a region much better known, for various reasons, than ours,” added Ginoble, “this is also because Abruzzo is not sold well, it is not promoted as it deserves.”

The turning point came with his participation in the Rai Uno talent show hosted by Antonella Clerici. From there, an extraordinary career began which, despite his young age, already boasts collaborations with artists of the caliber of Barbara Streisand and Sting.
Back to Piero, because June 24th was his birthday, Piero turned 32.

I watched the Bucharest concert on YouTube with my Italian friend, which was amusing and so lovely, especially for Piero, getting so many gifts and flowers for his birthday, so popular and loved.
They looked great and very relaxed, and now ready to rest for awhile even though very hot in Italy and really all over Europe.

His versatility is truly amazing–for example when he and Piero perform together in something more classical, it seems to me that he is as good at it as Piero. Yet he can do a raspy rock or blues with the best of them. To say nothing of the intense emotion and rhythmic physicality he puts into everything he does. The guys are all treasures, but he has my heart.
Judi, when I read Sabadini’s reviews I thought I absolutely had to translate them for all of you, the words are beautiful and reward the constant work that Ignazio, as well as Piero and Gianluca, always do. The word relax is not in il Volo’s DNA! They can not seem to say ‘no’ to anyone! One day they too will experience the feeling of getting older, especially after chasing all the bambino’s around!
I must admit I am used to see Gianlucas mother in many pictures. I hope Eleanora is well and just enjoying life as she wishes! Ercole is certainly travelling lots, but I do miss seeing his wife!
Today I lost a dear friend, so I am feeling sadness however when friends pass so young , as barely 50, we all need to ensure we value friendships every day!
I have met our boys very briefly and hope to again, I do consider the Flight Crew and the boys long distance friends! Peace be with all of you

Hello everyone. Better late than never – but I’ve been away on holiday with little access to the internet, so I am way behind with the world of IL VOLO – but here I am. Dearest Daniela and Pat and team, thank you so very much for yet a brilliant article and great translations and comments.
I was particularly fond of learning all the details as to Piero’s brother’s wedding. What a lovely and warm event that turned out to be. It was a delight to see that they had chosen the local church in Naro (and what a beautiful venue that was!) but not the least that the invited guests came from all walks of life leaving neither neighbors, local friends, close relatives nor the high-and-mighty Il Volo family out. A genuine wedding based on love and warm friendships and not a snobbish high society event. The dress-code – or rather lack of same – does likewise show the family’s thorough consideration bringing no one in an awkward or bad economical situation. Kudos! The wedding couple looked beautiful and such did the entire Barone family. They all glow and shine. And I believe everyone enjoyed themselves at this feast that, luckily, the more private parts of which were kept out of sight for the cameras. The only sad thing was the missing participation of the Boschetto family… I am convinced that apart from Ignazio and Michelle that both Ignazio’s mom and sister have been invited as well in similarity with the entire Ginoble family. I don’t really know what is happening to Ignazio for the time being… – yes, he is going to be a father and has a wife now – but the Barone and Ginoble families have been vital parts in each other lives for more than 15 years and hence to be considered in similarity with real family and therefore most obvious to be present at these lovely family events too, I should think. And Michelle being just 6-7 months pregnant doesn’t mean that she cannot fly or travel that short distance. Flying is all OK till the 8th and 9th months, where the unlikely event of giving a too early birth will create too much of a problem to the airlines – but from the recent pictures of Michelle she looks very fit for fight. Alternatively there are speedy trains and even a pleasant overnight ferry to Sicily I believe. So I do really not see an excuse for not attending and I do hope that there is a very good one though that we are not aware of (and of course is none of our business). I do also still find it a very great mistake that neither the parents of Piero nor Gianluca were invited to their wedding and that they preferred a society wedding leaving those closest to heart out… Enough said on that.
It was great to see Gianluca finally officially bringing his Claudia along to an official event such as the Film Festival in Taormina and letting the hair down enjoying a couple of days’ holiday in the area incl. a visit to the now famous Bam-Bar. It is about time he presents her officially no longer having to hide her and hoping that no private photos of them at i.e. the wedding are posted. The latter is unavoidable no matter what and did likewise happen at Ignazio’s wedding. So why not just get it over with and make it formal, so that they can relax and not have to be en garde all the time.
I do always enjoy watching the interpretive videos of the voice coach Sabatini – very interesting. It seems that he has dropped his heart to Ignazio and gets more and more excited about his vocal expertise. I do only wish that he would pay attention to Piero and Gianluca and analyze their soli as well – but I guess that they are a bit out of his comfort zone being especially interested in hard rock. Thank you for the translations.
Finally, a belated happy b-day to Piero, who seems to be well pampered on his 32 years birthday.

Regarding Francesco’s wedding, I agree that the Barone family once again chose to celebrate in their hometown of Naro, with which the family has a very close bond. I agree with you that Ignazio and Michelle and Caterina and Nina Boschettol were invited to the wedding, but if they chose not to be present, I think we should respect that. I also remember that at Vito Boschetto’s funeral, only Piero and Gianluca attended. I also didn’t like the fact that Gianluca and Piero’s parents weren’t invited to Ignazio’s wedding, but that’s what the couple decided, and we must respect it.
Regarding Sabatini’s videos, I’m so glad he had such kind words for Ignazio, and in the comments I also suggested he listen to Gianluca and Piero’s solos as well.
Thanks for your respons Daniela. And yes, of course, I fully respect Ignazio and Michelle’s decisions as to not attend Frans’ wedding as well as to whom they invite to their own wedding etc. There are no doubt valid good reasons that we are not aware of and naturally none of our business. I was just puzzled – actually mostly in respect to the lack of inviting the Ginoble and Barone parents to their wedding. I have lately re-watched videos from same and it struck me once again as strange as in all other ways they had a wedding worth royalty with perfections and beauty in all details. Compared to Frans wedding filled with warmth, room for everyone and a lovely relaxed atmosphere it made me reflect once again about this issue leaving me sad. Especially noting that not only Torpedine but likewise one of his staff were invited and the designer of Michelle’s dress apparently also. But of course there have been considerable thoughts behind the outline of the guest list and good reason for the choices. And I/we must fully respect that and I apologize if my comments have come out wrong in this respect.
