TUTTI PER UNO VIAGGIO NEL TEMPO N.3 by Daniela

We have reached the third and final appointment from Mantua for the concerts of Il Volo VIAGGIO NEL TEMPO.
This concludes the trilogy of concerts filmed by Canale 5 and which this year had Palazzo Te as their location.
As always, we offer you videos of the entire evening, both from YouTube (Il Volo en Clase) and Mediaset.
Enjoy the show!!

CLICK HERE to view the concert on Mediaset

The preview of the evening begins with Piero, Gianluca and Ignazio in the rooms of the beautiful Palazzo Te and precisely the Sala Dei Giganti, a beautiful room completely frescoed, enveloping and astonishing, also notable the frescoed ceiling and the geometry of the floor. Splendid!
IGNAZIO= but guys, we’ve gone a thousand turns, right left….we’re lost!
GIANLUCA= Wait, look, look for a moment where you are.
We are in the Sala dei Giganti of Palazzo Te, look at the frescoes, look at the perspective there, look at the chiaroscuro. (the treatment of light and shade in drawing and painting)
PIERO= Yes, the perspective is fine, the frescoes, everything, but we have a concert to do guys, all the guests have arrived too.
IGNAZIO= The guests, let’s call the guests.
GIANLUCA= Call them, so they can admire them too!
PIERO= (to Ignazio) Giorgia, call Giorgia.
IGNAZIO= You don’t know how many times I’ve looked for her. (It’s a deliberate phrase because the chorus of Giorgia’s last song says: you don’t know how many times I’ve looked for you.)
PIERO= The Kolors (a band of three guys)
IGNAZIO= The Kolors are three, who knows who will answer…
GIANLUCA= We’re not in Ibiza, come on (the biggest hit of the Kolors in a chorus says: this is not Ibiza)!
IGNAZIO= Who can we call? Beppe Fiorello, Arisa, Vanessa Incontrada…..
PIERO= Don’t worry, we’ll get out of here somehow, see you soon at TUTTI PER UNO.

The concert starts with the wonderful THE FINAL COUNTDOWN by Europe, which we listened to all three nights as an opener! 🤩
The first great guest of the evening is introduced immediately, the very talented Giorgia.
She is one of the most appreciated and successful Italian female singers, also because she has a fantastic voice.
In 1995 Giorgia won Sanremo with the song “Come saprei”, her manager at the time was Michele Torpedine.
Last year she co-hosted one of the concerts TUTTI PER UNO.
This performance by Giorgia is part of the second evening I attended and in the editing it was placed in the third.
Giorgia begins by singing in duet with Gianluca her song ORO NERO (2016).❤️
She continues in duet with Piero on his beautiful song QUANDO UNA STELLA MUORE (2013)❤️
The duets end with Ignazio together singing the beautiful song by Giorgia DI SOLE E D’AZZURRO (2001) which reaches particularly high notes. Gorgeous!❤️
At the end of the duets:
IGNAZIO= But can’t you sing a little more low-key songs?
GIORGIA= In fact, I’m very happy to have finally found someone who gives me a hand and what a hand, and it’s beautiful to hear your voices on my songs, your beautiful voices.
GIANLUCA = Did we do well? Great responsibility to sing your songs.
GIORGIA= More than well, magnificently!
A video collage of some moments of Giorgia’s past year is proposed.
Then Piero remembers that the night before they had dinner with Giorgia and stayed until 2:30 a.m. laughing and joking, this to underline that there is a great friendship between them.
At the end Gianluca asks Giorgia to sing her last song that she presented at Sanremo this year, the beautiful LA CURA PER ME (2025), 😍 and together with Il Volo she performs the final chorus!
We continue in style with a splendid solo by Ignazio, the song is from 1975.
IGNAZIO= 1975 is the year in which it was released, I dare say it bluntly, one of the most revolutionary songs in the history of rock, you all know it.
The wonderful BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY by the Queen begins. ❤️
Wow, what a voice Ignazio, what a pathos-filled interpretation!
And on with another beautiful duet, this time it’s Piero with Arisa, a good singer that we have already seen together with Il Volo singing in the basilica of Assisi in 2013.
The song they propose is in Neapolitan, written and sung by Modugno, published in 1964, TU SI NA COSA GRANDE. What power of voices!! 😍
Piero’s words:
“I’m very happy, I’m for two reasons, the first is that I’m about to perform one of the most famous Neapolitan songs, and the second is that I’ll be able to do it with one of the sweetest and most elegant voices of Italian song.
Ladies and gentlemen, to TUTTI PER UNO this evening: Arisa.”
It’s time to call the evening’s co-host on stage. She is Spanish, but when she was little she moved to Italy (1999), she is a nice and beautiful presenter and also an established television actress: VANESSA INCONTRADA.
Vanessa performs a skit where she pretends not to know Il Volo and has prepared three indications to help her understand which of the three she is talking about.
Card 1 = He is a male singer, he is part of the group Il Volo, and he won the Sanremo festival in 2015 (this applies to all three) 😂😂
Card 2 = He is very elegant and always dressed in black. (this also applies to all three) 😂😂
Card 3 = He has a tenor voice and wears glasses (we finally recognize Piero) 😂🥰
The concert continues with Il Volo performing the ever-beautiful GRANDE AMORE (2015). 😍
Il Volo continues together interpreting the ever beautiful and timeless song written by Dalla in 1986: CARUSO 😍
I’ve heard many versions of this song sung by various singers, but the way Il Volo performs it is wonderful!
The sweetest moment of the evening has arrived, Ignazio reads some words he wrote dedicating them to his baby on the way, Gabriele.
“You know, many of you know that I will soon become a father (applause), it has always been my desire to be a father.
But before being a father my desire was really to be able to meet my other half, and it is not easy.
Then when you find yourself meeting her, wanting to share your whole life with her, you get married, and there are a lot of married people here tonight, right? (applause) You have not regretted it, have you?
Here, I think that being a dad is a great gift, it is a great fortune and I will succeed, it will be beautiful, I am really excited and I thought of writing a little letter that I will take and read if I manage to finish it, and it is short too……and it says like this:
My dear son, (applause) I don’t know what it will be like to receive the most precious gift that life will give me, I don’t know what it will be like when I am too far away to wake you up in the morning to tell you that I love you.
And I don’t know what it will be like when you take my hand and with your sweet eyes and your sweet voice you will call me dad!” ❤️💙
Another guest enters, she is Alessandra Amoroso, a good Italian singer who shares the same joy as Ignazio for the arrival of a baby, she will soon be a mother.
Together they sing a beautiful song by Stevie Wonder: ISN’T SHE LOVELY released in 1976. 😍
Also on the evening of the concert I attended, this beautiful introduction by Ignazio to the song was made but he sang it solo and not as a duet with Alessandra.
While they sing, Alessandra Amoroso’s growing belly is evident, she also says that hers will be a girl and will be called Penelope and states that she has only one week of gestation difference with Michelle. The happiness of Ignazio and Alessandra who will be future parents is evident!! Congratulations! 💙🧡
Ignazio jokingly says that when he found out his baby was a boy he said to Alessandra: “You see, I’m making you your boyfriend, eh. (meaning Penelope). A good match, a good boy, raised well, from a good family with good values, and then we also get along, so!!”😂😂
At the end Alessandra Amoroso also sings her new song COSE STUPIDE (2025) 🥰
It’s time for Gianluca’s first solo, who with his warm and deep voice performs a beautiful song by Battiato E TI VENGO A CERCARE (1988) 🥰
Gianluca’s words:
“Franco Battiato taught me that the invisible saves the world, that the human mind has limits and only by entrusting ourselves to what cannot be explained with reason, such as music, poetry, love, can we get closer to the sacred.
And love for me is not possession but freedom, because it changes us, reflects us and reveals us.
Battiato knew how to sing it like few others, elevating it to the divine and in his words I see myself.
I see my own need… (now he quotes some words from the song) …. and I come looking for you because in you I see my roots, because I need your presence to better understand my essence.
And this evening I want to pay homage to him because today more than ever we need to wake up, to open our eyes and our hearts and start looking at reality with more truth, with more beauty, but above all with more love.” ❤️
It’s time for another duet, this time it’s Piero who with great honor introduces the talented flautist Andrea Griminelli with whom he will perform the beautiful Neapolitan song brought to success by the tenor Giuseppe Di Stefano in 1953 DICITENCELLO VUJE.
Amazing 🥰
GIANLUCA= And now let’s take a trip not only back in time but also to a distant place that we know very well, Mexico.
IGNAZIO= In 1940 a song was born that entered everyone’s heart, not only for the splendid melody but above all for its intense sensuality.
The three guys take their places, Ignazio on the guitar, Piero on the piano and Gianluca on vocals, what a marvel to see them engaged in these different roles, I like them very much and together with Vanessa, who is called on stage, they sing BESAME MUCHO. ❤️
Now Beppe Fiorello enters the scene, he is the brother of Fiorello (Rosario) that we are used to seeing. Beppe is a very good actor and appreciated in Italy.
He is entrusted with the presentation of the next song.
“Good evening everyone. Here we go, good evening, now I’m going to tell you a story.
1964 is the year in which a song by Simon and Garfunkel that I love very much was composed: THE SOUND OF SILENCE, I’m sure you all know it.
The first verse is one of the most famous incipits in the history of rock:
– Hello darkness, my old friend
I’ve come to talk with you again-
a poetic but also disconcerting phrase,
– Welcome darkness, my old friend –
Paul Simon composed this song when he was only 21 years old, he wrote it in a single night sitting on the floor of his room completely in the dark, and to fill the silence of that darkness there were only the strings of his guitar.
He explained that with those words he didn’t want to make proclamations, no, he was just trying to explain in a simple way the alienation of kids his age, the loneliness they had inside, the difficulties those young people had in relating to the world.
– I saw ten thousand people, maybe even more, who were talking without talking, who were hearing without listening, who were writing songs that no voice would ever share and none of them dared to disturb the sound of silence.
SOUND OF SILENCE is a song from 60 years ago, we know that, and yet I believe that its cry of solitude is still very current, unfortunately I would add, for the many boys and girls of today, who live their great efforts in total silence, perhaps because there is no one to listen to them.” 👏
Il Volo performs the beautiful THE SOUND OF SILENCE.❤️
Another guest arrives, it is the good singer Brunori Sas, with him Gianluca performs LA CANZONE DEI VECCHI AMANTI (1967), a song by Jacques Brel, here sung in the Italian version by Battiato.
At the end the last verse Gianluca and Brunori sing it in French. 😍
It’s time for a young Italian singer: Stash (actually he’s 35 so he’s older than our guys) who is part of a very well-known trio in Italy, The Kolors.
Ignazio says that he and Stash are great lovers of Pino Daniele, of whom, together, they perform A ME PIACE “O BLUES” (1980). 🥰
Then Ignazio leaves the stage and the other two members of The Kolors enter and the group performs a medley of their most famous songs.🥰
PRONTO COME VA (2025)
TU CON CHI FAI L’AMORE (2025)
ITALODISCO (2023)
Another sweet and emotional moment, it is 2010 and a catastrophe arrives in Haiti, in support of the hard-hit population a large group of singers including our then little Piero, Gianluca and Ignazio, brings back to the success WE ARE THE WORLD USA FOR AFRICA of 1985 which this time becomes WE ARE THE WORLD FOR HAITI.
A photo of the singers, including Il Volo, is also projected.
Here the song is performed by Il Volo with the support of the children’s choir of Chiari (Brescia).
Moving and beautiful performance, how sweet it was. 😍
Now it’s time for a good singer that we know well, she was competing in Sanremo this year and on the duet night she wanted Il Volo with whom she sang The Sound Of Silence. CLARA enters the stage and in a duet with Gianluca performs YOU ARE THE REASON (2018) 🥰
Piero calls Vanessa Incontrada on stage who kindly gives Piero lessons in Spanish pronunciation.😁
It’s time for a solo by Piero who performs the very well-known romance from La Tabernera del Puerto (1936): NO PUEDE SER.
Always nice to hear this song with Piero’s splendid voice! 😍
Beppe Fiorello returns and together with Ignazio, Gianluca and Piero they give life to a moment in which they talk about certain gestures, certain moments that have become a must in films.
At the beginning, Beppe kindly wants to say something off the set list, and says that from backstage he heard the voices of Il Volo proposing songs of a certain importance but performed with extreme ease, with great naturalness, congratulations!
The game that Beppe Fiorello proposes is “time in cinema”.
How many gestures in cinema have remained indelible, explains Beppe Fiorello, for example they immediately recall the legendary movement that made Charlot immediately recognizable!
Then he remembers the run on the steps of Rocky.
Then he remembers the special movement of Spider-Man who throws the cobwebs.
Then he asks Gianluca and Piero to recall the legendary embrace of Jake and Rose on the Titanic. Piero asks to play Rose while Gianluca is asked to play the part of Di Caprio and Ignazio has to do the soundtrack.
Then he remembers a scene from The Godfather that caresses her cheek and the legendary dance of Uma Thurman and John Travolta in Pulp Fiction and all four perform some movements of the dance.
Finally he repeats the movement of Tony Manero that by now we all know in the dance of Saturday Night Fever. 😂👏
The concert continues with two beautiful interpretations made by Il Volo.
The first is the timeless UN AMORE COSÌ GRANDE (1976).🥰
And the second is GRANADA (1967), performed in three different ways by Piero, Gianluca and Ignazio.🥰
Both songs, Un Amore Così Grande and Granada were brought to success by the talented Claudio Villa!!👏
Vanessa Incontrada reads a presentation that talks about time…. “time is the heart of music”…..
All this to introduce Gianluca’s next solo: C’È TEMPO (2003) by Ivano Fossati.
Well done Gianluca who gives space to the beautiful songs of Italian singer-songwriters! 🥰
Another solo, this time it’s Ignazio’s turn to give voice…and what a voice…to two beautiful songs brought to success by Bon Jovi:
ALWAYS (1994) ❤️
LIVIN’ ON A PRAYER (1986) 🥰
What a marvel!
A beautiful duet awaits us now with Piero and Mario Biondi. Piero tells how it was written, how this song was born.
I must say that Piero and Mario were able to use different voices and styles on the beautiful song by Sting (The Police): ROXANNE (1978) 🥰
And now a timeless success that we always listen to with pleasure performed by the three beautiful voices of Il Volo: MY WAY (1969) 🥰
Another beautiful duet, Gianluca says:
“Every time has its songs and then there are songs that have no time”.
Gianluca with Piero sing the beautiful song written and performed by Renato Zero: IL CIELO (1978) ❤️
The concert continues with another beautiful classical duet, NOTTE ‘E PISCATORE (1995) performed by the powerful voices of Piero and Ignazio. 🥰
We have reached the end of the concert. Vanessa Incontrada returns to greet the audience of Mantua and Canale 5 and Piero, Gianluca and Ignazio greet her by paying homage to her with the beautiful HISTORIA DE UN AMOR (1955) ❤️
The concert is over Il Volo bids farewell with final greetings and with PER ASPERA AD ASTRA ❤️
Finally a final recap, the images of the Aftershow. 🥰
As always, video and photos from backstage.

What can I say, another beautiful concert that closed a trilogy of successes, wonderful songs and good guest singers.
Elegance, friendliness and cheerfulness, even the newspapers and the comments speak well of this type of entertainment and of the fact that Il Volo did not rest on its laurels but continued on its path with great success.
And the voices of our dear Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca, always at the top. This time too they made us dream and the television ratings rewarded them.
Many newspapers talked about it but I really liked one article in particular and I will propose it to you translated in the next few days.
See you soon: Daniela 🤗

AN INTENSE MAY 2025 by Daniela

Do you think that after the U.S. tour and the three concerts in Mantua, Il Volo enjoyed a well-deserved rest???
That’s not exactly the case.
In reality, I don’t understand where those three find the strength to do all this, but they are certainly young and have a staff behind them that works well.
Of course, after the hard work in Mantua, our guys each returned to their family home, but not much time has passed, in reality only five days and Gianluca is making people talk about him, he gave a lesson at an institute in his Abruzzo.
Everything is well described in this article from May 16 that I’ll translate for you.

IN VOLO WITH STUDENTS, GIANLUCA GINOBLE’ LESSON: “TECHNOLOGY HAS ANESTHETIZED US TODAY”
The singer was the protagonist of a meeting at the Lucatelli Institute as part of a course dedicated to the value of words.
Words are not just a means of communication, they are body, life, desire.
Words can imprison us or make us free, make us live in anxiety and fear or bring us joy and serenity.
Words unite but often, unfortunately, they are also occasions of closure and conflict.
This and other things were discussed yesterday during the meeting held in the Comprehensive Institute of Tolentino Lucatelli-Don Bosco to complete the school project “La cura delle parole”.
Special guest, singer Gianluca Ginoble from Il Volo, who gave a lesson to the kids on the value of words and the importance of reading.
“Today, technology – the famous singer observed – has anesthetized us, we have become much more fragile and dependent on the means of communication that, more often than not, distract us from our priorities or duties. Social media often represents a source of linguistic impoverishment.
Young people no longer want to read, indeed they consider reading a useless thing, of no practical value.
However, they must not be a display of knowledge, instead it is necessary to internalize what we read to find within sentences and words a meaning to what we experience.
Taking care of words means covering the depth of the language, analyzing a topic in depth and school represents the privileged place to promote itineraries and strategies aimed at arousing curiosity and love for everything that concerns verbal communication, to bring out the need and pleasure of this ability. Furthermore, it leads young people towards the knowledge of many emotions.”
“Reading Dostoevsky, for example, makes us understand – Ginoble added – what pain is without needing to feel it.
Flaubert makes us feel all the passion of love even without being in love.
Words are therefore not just a tool for communication: through conscious language, we can create images and emotional states within ourselves and also in those who listen to us.”
The project LA CURA DELLE PAROLE (The care of words)   involved students from the third class and a second class from the primary school. All classes focused their attention on an aspect of the word, with individual and group work. Many were the questions that the students asked the Abruzzo member of Il Volo, interested in knowing the singer’s habits, his sources of inspiration and his favorite team, Roma.
Gianluca Ginoble finally invited the students to discover their own vocation:
“Do what you feel, don’t let yourself be influenced too much by others, there will always be those who appreciate you and those who criticize you.”
And towards the teachers:
“Respect them, they take care of you, you too take care of them as you take care of your parents.”
Finally, the students gave the singer a painting they had painted depicting a spring landscape with the words, “The voice of silence”. A word, silence, to be rediscovered, was privileged for reading.
A short video of the lesson where an interviewer asks Gianluca his opinion on “letting go – change”.
GIANLUCA = Letting go like changing, even in the old version of me I never had a hard time, in fact I can’t wait to change because there are people who say: “I’m made like this”, and that is the most wrong thing you can say, because it means that you don’t give yourself the chance to be reborn every time and I have never been afraid.
I had a hard time letting go of the people with whom I had shared time, for a question of attachment, when you recognize that it is no longer love but a habit, an attachment, it is hard (to let them go).
But in fact I also wanted to ask you a question (the students laugh because Gianluca who is being interviewed wants to ask the interviewer the question).
You know why, it is clear that you must not be a slave to your own mind, but I think it is a question that everyone asks themselves: “How important is it to learn to let go?”.
(Too bad the video ends here)

In a few days, it’s May 20th, Il Volo reunited, is in Cannes for a private event hosted by the jewelry house CHOPARD.
The private event was held during the Cannes Film Festival.
Here is what the house of Chopard published.
“ @chopard A creative twist on Cannes’s most exclusive night.
Caroline’s Universe evening invited the festival’s most distinguished guests into an enchanted forest of artistic imagination without limits. A celebration of the daring vision of Chopard Co-President and Artistic Director Chopard by Caroline.”
Here is an excerpt from an article dedicated to the fashion event and published by Globestyles.
During the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, Chopard organized “Universe”, an immersive gala dinner conceived by Caroline Scheufele. Hosted in a hangar transformed into a dreamlike universe, the event featured exclusive musical performances, a High Jewelry show with 78 unique creations, and the new dresses from the Caroline’s Couture collection. International guests included stars from the worlds of cinema, fashion, and music.
Guests included a lineup worthy of major film premieres: Festival juror Halle Berry, Alba Rohrwacher, Isabelle Huppert, Carla Bruni, James Franco, Patrick Schwarzenegger.
The evening opened with an aperitif at sunset, followed by a spectacular dinner in a setting inspired by a cosmic forest. Mirrored tables unfolded like luminous orbits, creating an immersive visual effect. The musical interlude was entrusted to the group Il Volo, who introduced the theme of the sensory journey, central to the evening’s imagery.
Only a couple of short videos have reached us.
But immediately after the event in Cannes, the immediate return to Italy, but this time towards Naples for another private event taking place in the Royal Palace of Naples.
This following photo of the entrance staircase was sent by Gianluca.
Nothing is known about the event, but there is a summary video of various musical moments.

We all thought that immediately after the concerts in Mantua there would be a period of well-deserved rest for Ignazio, Gianluca and Piero, but as we saw it was not like that at all.
Congratulations guys, hats off, you have so much energy and also a heart of gold that also thinks about supporting humanitarian projects.
More and more proud of you!!
Daniela 🤗
