After a few days’ break, the European tour resumes, with the first stop being Romania.
November 23, ORADEA
The concert was held in the Oradea Arena.
I found this video that shows the entire concert, there are also some funny moments and a very sweet moment with Luca, a child in the audience, who sings a short piece of Capolavoro with them!
On November 24, BG Sound Stage (concert organizer) released this statement:
“Great news! The concert filmed in Bulgaria will be broadcast on Canale 5 on Christmas Eve!” #Repost @bg_sound_stage
🤩 Dear friends, ⭐️ We are extremely happy to share this wonderful news with all of you!
💫 The Il Volo concert in Bulgaria will be filmed as a festive Christmas show and broadcast on the Italian national television channel Canale 5 on December 24, 2025, transforming the Bulgarian scene into one of the most anticipated musical events of the year.
🎄This will also be a special holiday event for Bulgarian audiences, who will attend the concert on November 28 in the Arena 8888 Sofia Hall – transformed with magnificent Christmas decorations and a special shorthand design, which will highlight the festive atmosphere of a unique musical experience.
✨In addition to their traditional repertoire of iconic opera classics, timeless Italian hits, their fifteen-year career repertoire, their latest album, Ad Astra, and solo performances from the global musical treasure, the three Italians will also perform their favorite Christmas songs.
🎉 A special Christmas surprise for the Bulgarian audience is that the concert will last longer than usual! About 2 and a half hours!
❤️ Thank you, Il Volo, for once again demonstrating your love and respect for the Bulgarian audience!
⭐️ An exceptional evening awaits us!
Wow, this is truly fantastic news, how wonderful for those who will be able to attend this concert 🥰 and we in Italy, will be able to see it on Canale 5!! 😍

Here’s what Prestige MJM (the concert organizer) posted:
It was a magical evening with Hala Stulecia on Il Volo and a moving audience meeting the loving trio of absolute love! The songs fans have been waiting for all year, including the biggest hit “Grande Amore” – twice. 🙌❤️
The artists’ return to Poland confirmed the unique bond they have with our fans: the concert was bursting with emotion. 🔥💫
Polish audiences have a special place in Il Volo’s hearts! ❤️ Every performance of theirs in our country is a meeting full of authentic emotions. 😇
Look how beautiful these photos were taken by our friend Alicja!!!
Il Volo leaves Poland, next stop Bulgaria.
November 28 SOFIA
The concert was at Arena 8888.
As I’ve already explained, the concert will be recorded and broadcast on Canale 5 on Christmas Day, so in addition to the scheduled songs, Christmas carols will also be performed, and the arena will be decorated for the holidays.
I don’t want to spoil the Christmas surprise too much, especially since I’ll be showing you the entire Christmas concert later, so I’ll just show you the beginning. 😉
INCANTO DI NATALE!!
GLORIA IN EXCELSIS DEO
How wonderful, what a wonderful Christmas atmosphere with the stained-glass windows illuminating a heavy snowfall, and what a wonderful opening song, superbly performed by our treasures, showing off their beautiful voices.
I won’t suggest anything else related to Christmas, even though I’m eager to see more videos. But be patient, Christmas is just around the corner!
How lucky the Bulgarian audience was to have witnessed this magnificent concert! I’m truly happy for them.
But there’s some news.
Il Volo announces that they’ll be back in Mantua in September for three evenings of TUTTI PER UNO, which will be broadcast on Canale 5.
Ticket advance sales are already open.
First of all, I want to apologize for the delay in updating you.
My daughter is moving, and I’m busy helping her, and Il Volo has concerts so hectic it’s hard to keep up with them.
Lots of great news and so many successes. I think Il Volo is doing a truly fantastic European tour, and the love they’re receiving everywhere is priceless.
And what can I say about Incanto di Natale, a concert that looks fantastic and that we’ll be savoring in its entirety during these holidays?
I have another piece of good news (especially for me): the Brescia newspaper has published the names of the singers performing in Brescia, my hometown….and Il Volo is among them!!!! I’m so happy about this, but for now, it’s news that needs to be confirmed by Il Volo.
The European tour continues at a rapid pace and continues to generate success.
The series of concerts in Germany has also concluded, and Il Volo is heading to the Czech Republic.
November 13th PRAGUE
The concert was in the 02 Arena.
Let’s go on stage!

I PUFFI 🤣😂🤣 In this short chat video from Il Volo, Ignazio jokes about the color of the clothes worn by the boys, saying that the three of them look like Smurfs (in Italian PUFFI) who are, in fact, blue. 😂💙💙💙😂
LIBIAM DE LIETI CALICI together with a guest soprano Elina Nechayeva
“✨ IL VOLO will return to Prague in 2027! The trio of Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto, and Gianluca Ginoble will once again grace the O2 Arena on October 18, 2027. It will be their fourth concert in Prague and once again a great treat for all pop opera lovers.
Today’s performance was full of emotion, elegance, and unforgettable musical moments. IL VOLO shone with the Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague under the guidance of Martin Šanda, and special guests: Swiss cello virtuoso Jodok Vuille and Estonian soprano Elina Nechayeva.
In 2027, fans will once again be able to experience the charm of Italy, the power of the three voices, and the exceptional musical atmosphere that combines classical tradition with a modern twist.”
Gianluca hugs a fan and Piero’s sweet memory of Barbara. ❤️🙏
Il Volo thanks Prague and Budapest with this fun video!!
MVM DOME posted these beautiful photos announcing a future concert in 2027 with these words:
“The bar was already high last year, but yesterday they easily cleared it. 🙌🏻 What will be here in 2027? 🤭”
Once again, two amazing concerts, once again the magic of their voices was confirmed, and the large audience responded with so much love!!
Now there are no concerts until November 23rd, so our guys can get some rest…do you think that’s possible????
Indeed!!!
The ATP Tennis FINALS were held in Turin in November, and the match between the two finalist champions, SINNER(Italian) and ALCARAZ(Spanish), took place on Sunday, November 16th. To everyone’s surprise, because the news hadn’t been widely spread, the live TV broadcast of the event began with the entrance of IL Volo, who sang the Italian National Anthem: FRATELLI D’ITALIA
Il Volo’s anthem before the match between Sinner and Alcaraz: “What a thrill! Like us, they started at 14.”
It certainly wasn’t the first time the Il Volo boys had sung the Mameli Anthem, but this time, in the center of Turin’s Inalpi Arena, shortly before the thrilling match between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz in the final of the 2025 ATP Finals, the artists were also filled with emotion. “We weren’t used to it, and we weren’t in front of our usual crowd, but it was even more beautiful. We felt all the emotion and immense affection.”
We spoke with Gianluca Ginoble and Piero Barone, who explained how they were asked to sing at the last minute: “We’re currently busy with our European tour,” Piero explains. “Yesterday we were in Budapest and we received the offer to sing at the ATP Finals; we wouldn’t have missed it for anything in the world. We’ve never responded so quickly to a request.”
All three singers are passionate about tennis, and it seems they play regularly. They’re pretty good, in short. Gianluca, a little less so: “Ignazio and Piero often play together. You could say that Piero is a bit like our Sinner, while Ignazio is instinctive; he even shouts a bit, like Alcaraz. For now, I’m the umpire.” They say that, finding themselves on this unconventional stage, they’ve noticed the differences but, above all, the similarities in the situations; sport and music aren’t that far apart after all.
“It’s clear that these two young champions were born to do what they do,” Piero reflects. “They discovered that they were practically children and are able to live off their passion, dedicating themselves to it, putting everything they have into it. They are an inspiration. That’s what we try to do too: we started at 14, discovering our calling, and we see a lot of ourselves in them. It’s a tough journey, but a beautiful one.” Gianluca quotes Morricone in “Silence is Music,” when he describes the sacredness of the exchange and the respect of thousands of people who almost held their breath so as not to disturb. “It seems like a meditative practice. Which is then interrupted by explosions of joy: a fantastic experience that is very similar to a standing ovation.”
And here in the backstage are Sinner and Il Volo waiting to greet the champion.
And once again, our beloved guys amazed and thrilled us with two more fantastic concerts, but above all, with a truly Italian sense of pride for the closing of the 2025 ATP Finals tennis tournament.🎾
A few days off (perhaps) and then the European Tour continues from Oradea, Romania.
While Gianluca, Ignazio, and Piero are singing the song, Piero notices a pin sticking out of Ignazio’s jacket at the shoulder, and he thinks about pushing it in. Naturally, the pin pricks Ignazio’s shoulder, and he goes backstage to see what happened (all while the song continues). Then Ignazio comes back on stage with the pin in his hand and shows it to Piero, and Gianluca also comes over to see the pin, all this while the song continues, the guys keep singing, and the audience laughs loudly!! It’s Ignazio’s turn to sing, and instead of saying: “Life is in the jubilation…..” he says: “The pin is in the jubilation….” 😂🤣😂
Here are the boys having dinner with a friend who is a football agent.
November 11th MANNHEIM
The concert was in Sap Arena.
OPERA
IL MONDO
I found almost the entire concert held in Mannheim, unfortunately it was filmed from the side but it provides almost the entire context of the evening.
I’ll translate for you the beautiful speech Ignazio gave at the beginning of the video, after “Who Wants To Live Forever,” to introduce his solo (Memory)🥰
In the German language, Ignazio asks Piero to leave the stage. Gianluca asks if he’ll sing alone, and Ignazio says they both have to leave, then decides to address the audience in Italian. (someone also asks for Sicilian language)
IGNAZIO = I think that in these almost 17 years together, which however feel like 20, they have been wonderful years, and I think that behind these 17 years now, there is a great message that we bring especially to the younger ones, because today we are in a world where individualism is increasingly common, and being in a group and staying together like we are after 17 years is really difficult.
We have always based our relationship on three fundamental factors: RESPECT, LOVE and TRUST. ❤️(applause)
It’s because I respect them (Piero and Gianluca) that I sent them away 😂 (it’s ironic – laughter), and it’s because of the love for them that I said they should go away,🤣 (laughter) and the trust is that they will then come back 😍(laughter).
Over these 17 years, we’ve also tried to showcase our three totally different personalities. People say I’m the craziest, I don’t know how to say “crazy” in German (someone in the audience tells him and he tries to pronounce it – applause).
People say I’m the craziest, but despite being the craziest, I’m the first to get married (applause), maybe that’s also why I’m crazy, anyway, even though I’m the craziest, I was the first to have a child, I’m a dad (applause), of course you’re all happy, but I’m the one who doesn’t sleep at night and changes diapers. 😍 💙
We (Il Volo) also have three different voices, and we try to demonstrate these three different voices through solos, through music, singing solos.
Tonight I’ll sing a song that’s very special to us because it reminds us of 2012 when we toured the United States with the great Barbra Streisand. It was a wonderful memory, especially because Barbra Streisand has sung this next song countless times, and her version is one of the most beautiful versions in the world and will remain in the history of musicals. 🥰
The time for the European Tour has already arrived. Our guys are destined to travel constantly, perhaps that’s why they chose such an appropriate name: Il Volo = The Flight.
The evening of November 5th, here in Italy, an event was dedicated to Pavarotti: PAVAROTTI 90, recorded at the Arena in Verona on September 30th, it was broadcast on television on Canale 5. The live event (which I already previewed with an amateur video filmed live during the evening) featured numerous guests, including Il Volo, who performed two songs, and now I’m re-proposing it to you with the Canale 5 video.
The evening was hosted by Michelle Hunziker, Il Volo will sing Capolavoro together with three sopranos and will follow with Granada.
MICHELLE = And now this special moment, in the spirit of “Pavarotti & Friends” (Pavarotti & Friends was a charity musical event organized for ten years between 1992 and 2003 in Modena by tenor Luciano Pavarotti and his second wife Nicoletta Mantovani to support humanitarian causes), six fantastic artists, three women and three men, will join their voices for a duet that will become a sextet.
Together with Marion Battistelli, Carmen Gianatasio, and Giulia Mazzola we welcome with applause: Il Volo! (Il Volo enters amid applause).
Ladies and gentlemen, at Pavarotti 90: CAPOLAVORO.
MICHELLE = Thank you to Marion Battistelli, Carmen Gianatasio, and Giulia Mazzola (the three sopranos exit).
Guys, come here to me, good evening. What a pleasure to see these kids that I saw when they were very little. We were on stage together at Wetten Das in Germany (2013), and now you’re a father, Ignazio!
IGNAZIO = Yes, now I’m a father, and it’s a wonderful thing.
MICHELLE = Why don’t you sleep anymore, you asked?
IGNAZIO = No, I don’t sleep anymore, but when you imagine becoming a father, you think… yes, I won’t sleep… and maybe you see it as a negative thing. Then you realize that even if you don’t sleep, and you watch him or give him milk when he wakes up in the morning, everything, every sacrifice is worth it in the end, you get the idea!
MICHELLE = It’s true!! Guys, I’m so happy to see you here. What’s it like to be here and sing for Luciano Pavarotti?
GIANLUCA = It’s a great privilege for us. It all started with Pavarotti, who brought this music out of the theater, even to the public, to a large audience all over the world, mixing various musical genres, and then came Maestro Andrea Bocelli. We’re proud to be able to bring this music to even the youngest audiences and to continue doing so, hopefully for the rest of our lives.
MICHELLE = And you’re doing it divinely, I’d say. I’m a huge fan of yours, you know that (it’s true, she’s a great friend and fan of Il Volo).
PIERO = Thank you! We never had the chance to meet Luciano Pavarotti, but we can say he inspired us, he was the one who inspired us to do what we’re doing, and we try to do it in the best way possible, with a smile, but above all with love and passion. (applause)
MICHELLE = Guys, I’d say you can come back to center stage because you have another big surprise for us, right?
IGNAZIO = Yes!
MICHELLE = You can head to the center of the stage, please (the song will be conducted by Placido Domingo, who is filmed hugging and replacing Maestro Leonardo De Amicis, who, I remind you, conducted our guys during Ti Lascio Una Canzone).
On the podium, an exceptional conductor: Placido Domingo (hugs with the guys).
Il Volo sings: GRANADA.
Il Volo conducted by Placido Domingo, the maestro who directed this beautiful Luciano Pavarotti Foundation Orchestra. These young men, full of energy and vitality, had the pleasure of being conducted by the maestro. (Long applause and bows from Il Volo and Domingo.)
It was a great honor for us to be able to pay tribute to Maestro Pavarotti.
Thank you.
These are beautiful thoughts captured backstage.
IGNAZIO = It was an emotional evening, also because Pavarotti means so much to us; he means inspiration. He’s one of those artists who, over the years, has taught us not to place limits on music or taste.
GIANLUCA = I believe it’s right to remember the man who moved the world. As long as we live, we will always strive to carry this music forward, with our voices, even for the younger generation.
PIERO = The man who brought opera to the general public, thank you, Luciano!
While I’m in Berlin for Tosca, I’m thrilled to relive the extraordinary evening at the @arenadiverona for Pavarotti 90, together with Il Volo, @mariambattistelli, and @giuliamazzola96, to celebrate Maestro Luciano Pavarotti.
His art, his humanity, and his voice continue to accompany us, inspire us, and unite worlds and generations. 💫
A truly beautiful event, a precious memory for someone who lived for music.
Our guys, as always, were impeccable: talented, handsome, elegant, and histrionic, because they know how to keep their cool even on important occasions.
Once again, you’re the best!
Daniela 🤗
