LynnK sent me a postcard she picked up while in Venice, Italy in October. The front was a photo of costumes worn at the Carnevale di Venezia (Carnival of Venice). I was so enamored by the costumes that Lynn sent me another post card and followed that by emailing this awesome video. What wonderful Italian Art!  

Lynn said, “I thought maybe the Crew might be a attracted to the visual gorgeousness the way I was. It must be an amazing experience to see all these costumes in action!”

The Carnival of Venice (Italian: Carnevale di Venezia) is an annual festival, held in Venice,Italy. The Carnival ends with the Christian celebration of Lent, forty days before Easter onShrove Tuesday (Martedi’ Grasso or Mardi Gras), the day before Ash Wednesday. The festival is world-famed for its elaborate masks.
