In Italy, according to the Roman Catholic tradition, fathers are celebrated on Saint Joseph’s Day, commonly called Feast of Saint Joseph (“Festa di San Giuseppe”), March 19. It is not a public holiday.
We will also celebrate them today – The day we traditionally honor our own Fathers.

God took the strength of a mountain,
The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagle’s flight,
