  1. Dear Marie, this is a beautiful poem, which rings so true of our young men. You are a wonder with words. Thank you very much for always sharing your heartfelt thoughts and feelings, Il Volo sister. ‚ô•

      1. Marie, your poems are always wonderful!! You always manage to put our feeling into words that make us smile!!!

  2. Wonderful, gentle and sweet! Marie please add this poem to the Flight Crew book for all three, it is so relevant! They MUST read this poem!

  3. Ineke, Joanie, and Dot, Thank you very much. It will be Kelly’s choice to put it in the book. She is having the final say on the project. I am helping her and have gone over nearly 2 years of past posts. You folks have written some wonderful testaments to Our Favorite Guys. If I suggest they all go in it would have to be in 3 volumes.

  4. So? What’s your point?? Just kidding, thanks to all of you who came up with this great idea of Flight Crew!! I love it!! Dot…in Texas!!

  5. Beautiful poetry from such a beautiful lady. You are gifted in so many ways and we here are so fortunate to know and love you! This poem would surely touch a certain three gentlemen’s hearts. I hope they will read it someday.

  6. Marie, you’ve done it again! Great poem! I have a question…when are we supposed to have our contribution to the book submitted?

  7. I have been out of commission with strained muscles on right side of my body for two days! Have missed a lot! Feel a little better now. Marie the poem is beautiful, it needs to be in the book! You say eloquently what we all feel!!! My thanks to you!!

  8. Marie, you have such a talent for writing. I don’t respond very often, but I thank you for sharing your talent with all of us. You always seem to write what I am feeling but can’t put into words myself. Big hugs…….

  9. Hey, dear Marie… Spent a few minutes on Twitter and discovered this. Magnificent! I think this poem best of all your poetry, Marie. That’s saying a Lot!

I Miss you guys! Life is extremely intense with Mom’s Alzheimer’s & now Dad’s cancer, & helping them move into assisted Living. Heading back to family again soon (several times this summer). I discovered the best way to pray when doing so for a friend…

Every time I listen to IL VOLO, I start with prayers. That’s guaranteed to be more than once a day! ūüėČ

I welcome your prayers for our whole family.

Love, grace, and gratitude to all,
    Jeanine, Compassion’s Doorway

    1. Thank you Jeanine. We miss you too, but understand.

I’m still doing prayers for you and your family. Hope all is settled soon and you get back to fun times.

“They illuminate the darkness of a heavy load” just as you described.

      1. Marie, you are a treasure.
Yes, the Light of IL VOLO is bright and sparkly and ever uplifting!

Love and gratitude to you, Marie, and to all my Flight Crew friends. If you don’t hear from me too much right now, you are nevertheless in my heart.

The message of Family comes through so clearly from our IL VOLO friends. Right now it is front and center in my life.

Love and hugs to my IL VOLO family,
        ~ Jeanine, Compassion’s Doorway
