EXHAUSTED. First time ever Il Volo live ticket buyer. Thanks to both my daughters with their accounts with Ticketmaster and knowledge we finally got our tickets to the Dallas performance. My daughter and two friends will be there. Now it seems like a let down not having to ‘worry’, look for ‘pass words” and wait for the magic hour of 10:00 AM of pre-sale. Since I was born with a ‘worry bone’ now I worry that Dallas will not sell enough tickets and they will cancel on me.

I would not worry. It has been a couple of seasons since they were in Dallas but it is a good city for them.
Gina NEVER, NEVER, NEVER say Il Volo will not be there for a concert. Keep screaming WE GOT TICKETS, WE GOT TICKETS, WE GOT TICKETS. And in no time February & March will be here.

Haven’t purchased room reservations yet (but got row B seat for the concert!). 2 queen beds was $367 with all fees, and they said they couldn’t refund the discounted amount so to wait until your code is available, Myron. contract was finally processed yesterday, Aug. 27. I will be given the password or code and link for discounted rooms. If you already have a reservation, I have been told, you can call the front desk and they will change the rate to reflect the discount. The rate on the contract is $79. plus tax and fees for a room with two queen beds. Unless you are in the other tower (the expensive one – I don’t know which is which). Watch here for the link or code as soon as I get it.

We are expecting a crowd of around 100 for dinner at 5:30pm as part of the Las Vegas Il Volo Fan Faire on March 25. It is part of the over all plan. The (really fine) Italian restaurant in the Palms will cater an Italian (you were expecting Swedish ? ? ) buffet for us.

I know it has been frustrating dealing with Ticketmaster and other entities. Our set-up here in Vegas may have seemed like it took a long time but when you realize that I only heard the Vegas date two days before the whole tour was announced that did not give us a lot of time to get the hotel booked for the Fan Faire. We are getting there. Our next job is to set up the simple form for registering and PayPal for the Fan Faire events which will run from 4:00pm to 7:15pm and then after the concert there may also be something.
Myron, I hope, that when everything has settled down, the guys are happily off to other concerts and everything is said and done….that you can take stock of the general event and numbers and try to make some dent on the IL VOLO management. They need to see that when fans can gather in a organized way like the fan gathering in LV there is an opportunity being missed here for management to make nice to all those lovely diehard fans of the Flight Crew. Thanks for all you have done these past months and current times, it does not go unnoticed and unappreciated , even for us fans who can’t be in Las Vegas 🙁
Next time Pirate. We’ll meet you next time. Maybe… Il Volo will either be back real soon after seeing the love of their fans there or they will never come back to Vegas after seeing the wildest, craziest love of their fans there!
From my own conversations with the boys I know they want to come here but some reason I still don’t understand upper Il volo management has been slow to the idea. Part of it has to do with the battle going on here amongst the three big promoters: Live Nation, AEG, and CAA. There are 67 theaters of different sizes and soon to be seven ( 7 ) arenas of around 17000 to 20000 in the various hotels and the fight is always who is going to get their act into what showroom or theater. The Pearl is an example of a Live Nation place that now will have some CAA shows and later some AEG shows but when that happens each company has to slit the take 50%. I think that is part of it.
We will show Il Volo (easy) and its management (a little harder) and the Promoter that Vegas is the place for Fan gatherings. It kind of makes sense. Where else can you stay in the same building where the concert is and have the Fan Faire there as well. You really don’t have to go outside. Although March weather is beautiful.
Myron, they could do that anywhere there is a casino. Niagara Falls comes to mind also. Which is more centrally located.
Harriett Eckberg and myself, Jeanne Thomas, will be attending the concert on Feb. 26 at the Chicago Threatre. We got front row tickets in the middle (in the pit). We also bought tickets for the meet and greet.
Marie they will only come back if you behave yourself & STOP hogging Ignazio.
Myron, Jeannette, Marie, Kelly, LeeLee I don’t know if I missed anyone but I just want to say I appreciate all the hard work you have put together on this project and looking after this site to get the information to us in a timely manner. I have always felt that this site has always been organized & up-to-date practically before anyone else. I sincerely hope the Il Volo guys realize how dedicated & supportive of them in whatever they do & how our hearts are filled with so much love for them.
I appreciate Myron your expertice in analizing how the guys sing & giving us your years of experience.
Jeannette you have worked so hard for us as well & helping Myron put things together. I hope there is some way you could get to the get together & the concert & if I could help you would gladly.
I can’t think of perhaps I don’t know how other performers are treated by their fans but I sincerely don’t think they feel the love from their fans as Il Volo feels from their fans & that’s including us. I feel sometimes as if my heart will burst & I can’t look at a picture of Ignazio with his beautiful smile that I don’t automatically start smiling. Will we all feel like smiling idiots? that’s ok we will be enjoying ourselves. Looking forward to a fantastic time it can’t come soon enough

Here’s my two cents worth again there has to be a BETTER way done next year than what has been going on with the promoting & theatres not knowing what is going on or the waiting to see where we are going. This year has been a complete hassle & if I have to deal with ticketmaster because meet & greet has been put in their hands then I won’t be going to anymore concerts. I have been so frustrated with NOT being able to get in touch with a representative at ticketmaster because I had to give all my information to a recording which ended up by telling me all representatives are busy & to call back then hanging up. This has been the worst year for getting tickets or information. Il Volo
never had this problem even when they were starting out. The promoters knew what they were doing & were organized. WHY can’t the theatres handle meet & greets & tickets other years they did & we got everything at once.
Again I am saying Myron can you squeeze your expertise into working for the Il Volo organization, THEN things would be done right. I’ll help I’ll even work for free. Things have GOT to be better organized than what is happening now PLUS Canada & the northern parts of the States has to be taken into consideration of the weather & the Il Volo boys performing between May & October. The weather these last couple of years has been brutal. Sometimes we have snow in November by the time April comes around winter still doesn’t want to give up especially when we get the bigfreeze sneaking down from Russia from up north
Myron I was going to be sending you a letter like this later asking you to work your magic so we wouldn’t have such hasseling next year. Sorry folks I had to say this & get it off my chest I felt at times that I wasn’t going to see Il Volo this year & constantly dealing with ticketmaster I had to get away from the phone & my computer because I thought I was going to have a heart attack. It has taken me three weeks to get through to a representative at ticketmaster
Mesa had Meet and Greet,VIP up on the venue website. So easy to pick the seats. No hassle.
