Wow! The last time we posted this list it was September. Time is flying! In just a little over two months we will be face to face with you know who, you know who, you know who and each other. We’re starting to get really excited!

The committee of the Las Vegas Il Volo Fan Faire is happy to state that we are very near the capacity of the ballroom contract that we signed last fall. Out of over 100 plus spaces we only have (roughly) 15 spaces left. We would love to see this program filled so we can take even more fans for this Fan Faire. Ever since Jeannette and I met with Barbara Vitali and Gianluca last month, discussed details and found out that she is very much going to work it so that the guys come to our program (I hate to call it a meet and greet because it will be different and more relaxed – however, you will definitely be able to meet each one of them and you will be able to greet each one and maybe even have time for some fun ? ? ! ! ? )
Most everyone that has registered has paid and I would like to be so bold as to “gently nudge” anyone that has not to pay on the bill. We have to keep the over-all bill paid on time on this end.
I must say that we’ve recieved so many emails sharing the excitement in anticipation of March 25 – It inspires us to work all the harder.
Reminder: I hope that everyone who can come here will get tickets for the concert. Tickets run from $46. to $153. depending on the location. We have nothing to do with promoting the concert (just our Fan Faire) but we really want this concert to be SOLD OUT ! It took a lot of pushing to get them here and we want the whole experience to be very successful. I figure it this way: if they are happy it shows in their performance and then we are happy. Also, if we are happy then they are happy and they WANT to do it again.

A moment of insanity occurred one night so now Deborah Beaupre and myself are going to the Washington DC concert February 19th with Maria Leps and Madeline Vitella !!! The Granny Groupies will be united once again and storming the Kennedy Center !!! We are all very excited to be together again for this concert and M&G !!
This is definitely my year !! Five concerts !! Four M&G’s !! Crazy !!! 😜 The most exciting part of this entire experience ( besides seeng our guys which goes without saying !!) is being able to meet so many people in our Il Volo community in person and seeing others again that I have met before !! My life certainly did change for the better when I discovered Il Volo and all of you wonderful Ilvolovers !!!

Note: As I wrote a couple of weeks ago, Il Volo is now planning to attend our function BUT they do not know what time and will not know until closer to the event (we should know in early February). If it is late or early or mid-afternoon depends on their time of arrival from Phoenix and it depends on the sound check rehearsal. But since all of this is in the same building it will not be a problem to have them come up and see us. The Theatre is on ground level and our ballroom (called “The View” ) is on top of the building on the 52nd floor. Direct elevator from the stage area to us and also two from casino to us. It is easy.
Anyway, My point it that our highest priority is getting the boys to us for about an hour or two so therefore we want to make it easy and flexible for them. All of us are there anyway.
We should have a fixed schedule by early February.

I, for one, can hardly contain my excitement, not only to be able to see our guys once again, but on meeting many of you in Las Vegas. Montreal is the same distance from me as Albany is! I chose Albany because I’ll stay over nite there and the hotel is two blocks from the concert venue. If I ‘d decided on Montreal I would have a huge hassle with parking and traffic plus driving back through some pretty desolate countryside really late at nite once I left Canada. Then there is also the border checks going and coming which are usually backed up to kingdom come! And the weather! We could have blizzards, ice etc. So, I erred on the side of caution and convenience and decided on Albany! Penina is sort of in the same boat. She lives in Canada but she has a long drive in iffy conditions to get to Orillia and back! Good luck her! Good luck me ! We could get dumped on and I’d have to get a dog sled to get to Albany! Anything for our beloved Il Volo!!

I’m going to the Cleveland concert with my friend, Kathy. We went to the last concert in Cleveland and the concert in Pittsburgh. I met you, Marie, in Pittsburgh. I would love to go to LV, but my health won’t allow it. I wish you all loads of fun.

I do hope that everyone understands about the starting schedule time. 4:00pm is what we listed for the benefit of the hotel but they are willing to be flexible and they know that we must wait until we get final word from Il Volo. It may seem that Jeannette and I have been giving you different information but that is not the case.

Note: As I wrote a couple of weeks ago, Il Volo is now planning to attend our function BUT they do not know what time and will not know until closer to the event (we should know in early February). If it is late or early or mid-afternoon depends on their time of arrival from Phoenix and it depends on the sound check rehearsal. But since all of this is in the same building it will not be a problem to have them come up and see us. The Theatre is on ground level and our ballroom (called “The View” ) is on top of the building on the 52nd floor. Direct elevator from the stage area to us and also two from casino to us. It is easy.
Anyway, My point it that our highest priority is getting the boys to us for about an hour or two so therefore we want to make it easy and flexible for them. All of us are there anyway.
We should have a fixed schedule by early February.

I, for one, can hardly contain my excitement, not only to be able to see our guys once again, but on meeting many of you in Las Vegas. Looks like Montreal, QC is the only North American Il Volo concert in 2016 where a member of the Flight Crew will be missing. So far anyhow!
Welcome, John! I’m not as visible as Marie (because all I do is work…lol), but glad to have you here!
Montreal is the same distance from me as Albany is! I chose Albany because I’ll stay over nite there and the hotel is two blocks from the concert venue. If I ‘d decided on Montreal I would have a huge hassle with parking and traffic plus driving back through some pretty desolate countryside really late at nite once I left Canada. Then there is also the border checks going and coming which are usually backed up to kingdom come! And the weather! We could have blizzards, ice etc. So, I erred on the side of caution and convenience and decided on Albany! Penina is sort of in the same boat. She lives in Canada but she has a long drive in iffy conditions to get to Orillia and back! Good luck her! Good luck me ! We could get dumped on and I’d have to get a dog sled to get to Albany! Anything for our beloved Il Volo!!

I understand, Lynn. Both Cleveland and Detroit are a mere couple hour drive north from me. Because of the weather I chose Florida and Las Vegas.
I’m going to the Cleveland concert with my friend, Kathy. We went to the last concert in Cleveland and the concert in Pittsburgh. I met you, Marie, in Pittsburgh. I would love to go to LV, but my health won’t allow it. I wish you all loads of fun.

It will be a very special night on March 25, 2016… The Fan Faire is building up to be a very special event… When Myron and I met Gianluca and we shared the information we had about the Fan Faire Convention, he was so excited… He kept hugging us and thanking us for doing such a special event for him and Ignazio and Piero… If you plan on going to the concert and have not yet registered for the Fan Faire, please think about doing so… We would enjoy having a big turn out for Il Volo and we would love meeting you as well… The event is $100 per person and is a great prelude to the concert… You can be sure to have a great time meeting your Il Volo Family from the Flight Crew…

I do hope that everyone understands about the starting schedule time. 4:00pm is what we listed for the benefit of the hotel but they are willing to be flexible and they know that we must wait until we get final word from Il Volo. So much excitement as we plan for these concerts. I’m still planning to bring a new Il Volo appreciator, my friend Dorothy, to the Chicago Theater concert Feb.26. We’ve a tight schedule so don’t know if I’ll get to meet any of you, but I’ll hope for happy accidents 😉
