  1. Ann, this is one of my favorite songs, I really like how they sing and the pronunciation of Gianluca I feel good. Here they were still kids, delicious as well as good.
I love this song that reminds me of the movie “NOTTING HILL”, the sweetness of Aznavour.
I have to much laugh when I think the episode that often tell our boys referring to this song in a concert in Switzerland and i laugh even thinking about the concert that made this year in Paris at the Olympia.

Background: Ignazio before starting to sing apologizes to the public for their pronunciation. Begins the verse of Ignazio and the audience warmly encouraged with applause, and also follow Gianluca him applause, before it begins to sing Piero, you see that rascal of Ignatius not seen by Piero beckons the public not to applaud …. ..poor Piero, fortunately the audience does not listen to Ignazio, indeed is very excited about the whole song. Magnificent !!!

    1. In this new article is mentioned fan Daniela (Intanto Daniela, una de IlVolovers, si diverte a stabilire delle analogie fra i tre tenori più noti a livello mondiale e i ragazzi de Il Volo: “Ignazio, amante del cibo, ricorda Luciano Pavarotti.). Is it possible that it was you? 🙂

      1. Lydka no, it’s not me that Daniela, I read the article this morning and I liked it. If it were me I would have said of Ignatius “Ignatius reminds acute in the timbre of the young Pavarotti” because this is really the effect that he gave to me. Lately I’ve been reading in Italian newspapers some nice article on VOLO, finally !!! I have a beautiful day, a hug from Italy.

  2. One of my all-time favorites!!! Love this more every time l listen! Love them more every time l see it!! They are indeed “delicious”!!!

  3. This has always been my favorite – non-Italian- song. That last note just slays me! Loved them then….Love them now!

  4. I love this song so much–it is one of my all time favorites–that I bought a 5th We Are Love disc just because this song was added on! So now I am the possessor of 5 different We Are Love/Mas Que Amor discs–some of which only differ by one song.

    1. Yep, I own them all too. And proud of it! I won’t even mention duplicate copies of some. I need to mention here that most of my duplicates are gifts from some of you wonderful people. They are all signed copies. All are loved equally. All are cherished. By the way, I took some of the signed covers out of their cases , put them in a frame and it now hangs on my living room wall.

      1. I’m trying to convince my husband to take me to Milan Friday 30, the CD comes out and Piero Ignazio and Gianluca are present to sign the covers and take pictures together. Fingers crossed.

      1. Dorothy, it’s very confusing. It is one of the ones that the cover has a head shot of the boys. It says IL VOLO in WHITE and under that it says WE ARE LOVE in RED.
Sometimes Amazon lists the tracks. There are only two We Are Love CDs with the head shot on the cover. One has the few Christmas tracks on it and this one has Tous Les Visage. Just remember no BLUE on the cover!
        I hope you find it!

      1. Thank Marie, good idea. I use that name because I took so many cruises including 3 Med cruises and one South American to Brazil and Argentina which were my favorites of course!

  5. Ann this song also belongs to my best, best, best !!!
Thank you so much for publishing because recording from Olympia I didn´t know and then I downloaded in to my computer.
Huge aplause says it all – AMAZING !

  6. I always loved songs in Italian. But second French was my favorite. Both languages seem to give added ‘romance’ to each song.
Would love to hear the boys sing “La Vie En Rose”. My favorite.

Hold me close and hold me fast
    The magic spell you cast
This is la vie en rose
When you kiss me, Heaven sighs
And though I close my eyes

I see la vie en rose
When you press me to your heart
    I’m in a world apart
    A world where roses bloom
    And when you speak
    Angels sing from above

    Every day words
Seem to turn into love songs
Give your heart and soul to me
    And life will always be
    La vie en rose

I thought that love was just a word
They sang about in songs I heard
It took your kisses to reveal
That I was wrong, and love is real
Hold me close and hold me fast

    The magic spell you cast
This is la vie en rose
When you kiss me, Heaven sighs
And though I close my eyes
I see la vie en rose

When you press me to your heart
    I’m in a world apart
    A world where roses bloom
    And when you speak
    Angels sing from above

    Every day words
Seem to turn into love songs
Give your heart and soul to me
    And life will always be
    La vie en rose

  7. Thank you Ann! This video brought back so many memories. I had goosebumps while listening to the beautiful song again! And to hear those voices coming out of KIDS…that is what originally blew me away and still does when I see something like this.

  8. I saw the video Olympia is not visible at the first shot, you have to click twice on the icon or go to you tube, it is visible only through this channel.

  9. Thank you for printing lyrics to
La vie en rose. The words and
    melody are so beautiful, they
just melt my heart. I have heard
Dean Martin sing this song and he
does it justice. But would love to
    hear our romantic IL VOLO’s
    interpretation of this lovely song.
Maybe it is in the future as they
keep adding more songs to their
repertoire. I really love all their
    songs.
