But before we answer the question, let’s take a look at some characters we met this week.
We met DUMBO in a box of Popcorn! Movie night! And the question, “what movie are you watching this evening?”
That was a little hard to answer because I have more than one favorite. So, I chose, “Casablanca.” I found out many of you like this movie! What’s not to like! “Here’s looking at you kid!”
Or if you’re really romantic, how about “Love is a Many Splendid Thing!” Okay so I lost half of my audience! Let’s move on!
Next, we met a Chef who was carrying a bowl of Pasta Pomodoro. My first thought was, Piero must be close by but, this is not a story about Il Volo, this is about BOIN. So, perhaps Ignazio and Fabio got hungry and, they went to one of Ignazio’s favorite restaurants, Ristorante Donatello for some Pasta!
And what better way to end a meal then with their favorite, a delicious, Ice Cream pop dripping in Chocolate!
At this point we could all use an Ice Cream pop and a little bit of summer!
So, finally, we meet an alien from BOIN! I kind of thought there might be some aliens in the story but, this is a new part of the story so, we have to wait and see who the other aliens are!
In my story, I suggested it was a King because he wore a crown but, it’s been suggested to me that it may be a Queen! So much to learn, so little time to learn it! Only time will tell!
Now, let’s go back to my original question, “Are you BOIN?” I know you are BOIN and, I am BOIN because we’re still here but are all the characters BOIN?
In order to answer the question, we need to meet some of the other BOIN characters.
For instance, what about the little guy by the campfire holding a beer? Who is he? Is he BOIN? Is he actually on BOIN? Is he on earth? Is he waiting for a spaceship from BOIN? Or is he on BOIN waiting for the next adventure? He’s been sitting there since day one and we have no idea who he is!
You can’t tell me you didn’t wonder about this little guy! How does he fit into the story?
So, it’s obvious there is so much more for us to learn! Perhaps we should join the little guy by the campfire and share a beer with him while we wait for the next adventure.

We had a bunch of real cute Superhero’s this week! I just knew, after seeing BATBOIN last week more Superhero’s were going to follow.
I knew this little SUPERBOIN would be coming but I didn’t expect him so soon! I’m really loving these Superhero’s! They fit right into the alternate universe of BOIN!
The Black and White SPIDERBOIN was a little scary if you don’t like spiders! But when SPIDERBOIN showed up in color, that changed everything!
He’s a cutie! Is he the Itsy-Bitsy spider? Not sure but he can hang around as long as he likes. But wait! Is SPIDERBOIN Gianluca’s counterpart in this universe of BOIN? It certainly works! If he is Gianluca’s counterpart, someone else should be showing up soon!
The question of the day! Who’s your favorite? I know mine but I’m not telling! It seems SPIDERBOIN won this round. Everyone thought SPIDERBOIN was Gianluca’s counterpart in the alternate universe of BOIN. If they’re right, I expect someone else should be showing up soon!
Well, isn’t he aHOOT! He seems a little shocked! What do you think he’s looking at? Or maybe what is he looking for? Maybe he’s thinking someone is missing?
I heard a rumor that Miss Daisy is following these Superhero’s and she seems to think this story needs some Super Ladies for these cute Superheros! I agree!
But what was it the fans thought was missing this week! What did the fans talk about this week? Simple if we have SPIDERBOIN as Gianluca’s counterpart, shouldn’t we give equal time to Piero. To me Piero’s already a Superhero.
So, is SPIDERBOIN Gianluca’s counterpart?
What about it guys? Let’s get everyone involved and don’t forget Miss Daisy thinks we need some Super Ladies. After all guys where would the world be without all those beautiful Ladies! Where would you guys be without your beautiful ladies?

Reviewing old characters while previewing new ones. That seemed to be the theme this week.
Fabio opened the week with a review of all the old characters and a preview of what’s to come! And later in the week he said: “Facciamo un riepilogo.” (Let’s make a summary.) So, Fabio showed all the characters from day one to present! It’s only about two months but it seems so much longer!
Our first character this week was a Chickadee! Really cute! The question “Coffee or Tea?”
In black and white it begged the question. “What do you prefer?” What do the guys prefer?” I think it was a 50/50 split!
As to the color picture, an hour before it was posted, Fabio posted a picture of Noah taking a bath and he called it “Spa Time!” My first thought was, the little chickadee is in a cup of water, “Okay Fabio, I got it, Spa Time!” And I implored everyone to “pay closer attention to Fabio and you’ll get it to!” Coincidence? Who knows?
So finally, we are presented with the BOIN logo! What are we looking at? In Black and White the question arises “Look at this one, what do you see? Are we missing something or is it just a logo?”
In the White and Black, “Look at it! What is it telling you? Is there something there that we’re not seeing?”
Nice logo! I think the eyes in O with an X through it, signifies Hugs and Kisses! You guys deserve lots of Hugs and Kisses for all the good work you’re doing here! I send you mine!
What post got the most attention this week? DOG BOIN
Everyone has a counterpart in BOIN so why not Arturo? His counterpart is DOG BOIN with glasses in black and white! You have to admit he looked like Arturo. Don’t forget Arturo’s counterpart would probably be like a superman character who wears glasses in this alternate universe. I thought he looked handsome in the glasses. This was the post that everybody got in on. So many people responded, that’s Arturo! I know he’s DOG BOIN, but, yes, it seems that DOG BOIN is Arturo with glasses. That went over big for the black and white but not the Arturo in color.
Everyone thought that DOG BOIN in color was cute but, they said it had no relation to Arturo because they like Arturo’s color better. They love Arturo and they want him in his original color and form. BOIN DOG in black and white was okay but they’re not buying the alternate color!
I think Arturo has his own fan club!
I tell you, when I saw that black and white picture of something flying, I thought, “Is that a turkey without a head? No way!”
When I saw it in color, I thought that’s the donut that the kids love, Pink Icing with Sprinkles. It seems our Big BOIN Kids love them too!
But, of course, this donut is flying!
The guys tell us “everyone must fly towards their dreams, no matter who you are or what you look like!”
I decided, “If a donut can fly, then dreams can come true! Always FOLLOW your dreams @boincollection.
The BOIN Brain! My question, “What exactly is going on in those beautiful BOIN Brains?” Well, they made it obvious that they want to get inside our brains! To me it looked like total melt down!
And how about the adorable BOINBAT. He can hang out in my cave anytime! So, what do you think, is there a lady BOINBAT? I think this is the start of more, superhero, characters?
And so, we end the week with a LIVE! Fabio worked his wonders in black and white. The result! It’s the cover of the BOIN book! FOLLOW @boincollection to hear more about the book!
So, what’s been going on this week? We started the week with an old friend, Miss Daisy! She was out there promoting Women’s Day! And what a good job she did!
Dressed in very tasteful black and white business suit and sporting that beautiful black petal necklace, she stood proudly in honor of women all over the world. Thank you, Miss Daisy!
Well, what do you know, the little Panda returned to share a post with Pizza! Oh my! Are you still asleep in the sushi! You got to get up sometime! Perhaps to eat some Pizza!
Food, glorious food! Pizza, Sushi and Bacon and Eggs!
And the question from the guys, “What do you prefer? Pizza or Sushi!” You know how that turned out. Always pizza!
I think the idea was to guess who would eat what! But that’s a no-brainer! Choosing between pizza and sushi, no choice necessary! That works for Fabio and Ignazio (provided the sushi is vegan).
The bacon and eggs is another story!
Fabio are you missing the United States? Don’t worry you’ll be back soon!
Or was the skeleton Ignazio’s way of saying Taboo! We know Ignazio wouldn’t go near the bacon and eggs! Regardless, in the end, the Pizza won out!
So, let’s change tracks for a moment! Did you see that cute little fish in the light bulb? Could he be a relative of Nemo?
In the black and white picture, I said, “Home is where the heart is so FOLLOW @boincollection” And, what do you know, this little guy arrived at BOIN just in time to hear Ignazio’s voice in the distance singing the theme from Màkari.
Suddenly, everything lit up and he found himself in the middle of a, beautiful, aqua sea. So, he followed the voice until he came to Màkari. And what do you know, there he was, Ignazio strumming his guitar and singing his beautiful song! At last, the little fishy was home!If you missed Ignazio singing, tune in, Monday, March 15th on Rai1 21.25 (Italy) to see the premier of Màkari and of course to here our guys sing the beautiful theme song, “Màkari,” which was written by Ignazio.

So, the BOIN posts are going on nearly two months now, and finally, they stumped me!
I have to admit guys, I looked at the three little ghosts and, NOTHING!
It takes a lot to leave me speechless but bravo, Fabio and Ignazio, you did it!
Are those little ghosts, BOIN Crew or just some friends who dropped by? We have to wait to see where this goes.
So, we close out the week with a little Angel Fish and a Devil Fish. It seems the Devil Fish shocked the Angel Fish! My question was “Look at you, you cute little Angel! What did that Devil say to you?”
So, I close the week with the question, “What do you think the little Devil said to the little Angel?

When I heard the sad news on Monday that Ignazio’s father passed away, I was shocked! It was so sudden. And of course, I immediately thought about Ignazio and his family and my heart went out to them.
Life is so short and, just when it seems all is right, it’s over! It doesn’t always happen that way but when it does, it creates a silence in us that is almost deafening. Everything goes away and sorrow takes its place! There’s no trying to explain it. If we could, we would know the secret of life. So, we try to do what we can to help the people we love. And that’s what Fabio did!
When I saw the Heart on BOIN, I thought about Ignazio and Fabio. They have been friends since they were teenagers. I’m sure Fabio was hurting for his friend. He was feeling Ignazio’s pain. I believe Fabio needed to do something. And he did what he does best, he expressed his feelings in art.
Look up! That’s Ignazio’s heart. Fabio drew it and then he noticed there was a break in it and, he felt the pain. He immediately drew a Little Band-aid and said, “God please help my friend, he’s in pain!” And for a few moments, Ignazio’s pain was alleviated. Then he thought, the pain will come back and he still will be very sad. Maybe some friends can cheer him up! So, he sent that beautiful Heart to all of us. What was touching about the Heart was the Little Band-aid in the middle. It spoke volumes! It said my, friend, Ignazio is in pain and he is very sad.
I understood what needed to be done! I took the Heart with the Little Band-aid and I sent it with a message to Ignazio friends, you, the fans to let you know he needed our help! And suddenly the break in the Heart began to close. The Little Band-aids were helping the pain.
The space in Ignazio’s heart was rapidly filling with beautiful
expressions of love to comfort him in his time of sorrow.
We are at his side, in prayer, and we will remain with
him for as long as he needs us!
Yes, the Little Band-aids are there but, you can’t see them. They’re invisible! They’re called Words!
When all of you received the message, you immediately responded! This has been going on for days! Even, now, messages are coming in from around the world on Facebook, Messenger and Instagram! Not hundreds, not thousands but, tens of thousands! And that’s just what came to me! Messages expressing condolences, sympathy, prayers! Please send our Condolences to Ignazio and his family. Please send our deepest Sympathy to the family. Please let Ignazio know “we are praying for the family.”
All those tens of thousands of Little Band-aids you sent, they are there on Ignazio’s Heart and they are easing the pain.
We found out Ignazio is a Lion, a very courageous young man. Just listen to his very emotional performance of “Your Love” at Sanremo. Vito that was for you! Amazing strength! And I must say some of that courage and strength came from all of you. Remember those six little words you said? “We are praying for the family!” They gave Ignazio the strength and courage to follow a path he never followed before. Your prayers were with him all the way.
But what will happen with the Little Band-aids? Will they ever go away? Soon, soon the pain will begin to subside and, the Little Band-aids will take on a new role. They will become Memorieswhich Ignazio will store away for those days when he is sad and needs some comfort. Then he will reach into his beautiful head and pull out a wonderful memory!
Now, Ignazio has become the man of the house and we know he will be “a rock” for those beautiful ladies, mom Caterina and sister, Nina!
I would love to be able to reply to all of you, personally, to thank you for all those, beautiful expression of love, which were so important to Ignazio and his family. The fans are an important part of Ignazio’s life. I’ve come to know many of you personally. You are Ignazio’s family and my family because we are all one family, the Il Volo family. And I know Ignazio appreciates what each and every one of you did for him this week. The time you took to write your words of love and all your prayers for his family. He will hold them in his heart forever.
Yesterday, Vito was laid to rest! More than ever the family needs your prayers! Please continue to keep Ignazio close to your heart and in your prayers!
I want to thank Fabio for sending us Ignazio’s Heart so we could alleviate some of the pain and share our love with him.
