The promotional tour in Mexico has been very successful.
Many fans presented autographs from Mixup for the moment.
Surely Ignazio, Piero and Gianluca, will have been very happy with this beautiful participation of their fans. But unfortunately there was also an inconvenience for Ignazio, he was not well, he had a fever, he presented himself at the event, but at a certain point he had to leave, much to the disappointment of the fans, but then they understood that it was a health factor. Poor Ignazio …… this is the moment in which it is announced that Ignazio has left.
And here, at the end of the event, the moment when Piero and Gianluca have to leave the store, the fans didn’t go away, they waited for them.
In addition, the guys participated in various interviews and a press conference.
But also the promotion in Mexico is over and, fortunately, Ignazio is better, but the boys did not return to Italy, as it was already leaked, they arrived in the US.

Il Volo did an interview with Laura Savini as part of the US public television special broadcast of the Matera concert. It was a nice interview. The public television broadcast did not have the complete concert. Several performances were omitted from the broadcast. Because this is a pledge special, it probably airs at different times on different US public television stations. It aired twice yesterday on Maryland Public Television and repeats today (December 1) at 3:30 pm on MPT, and again on Wednesday (December 4) at 4 pm..It airs Tuesday (December 3) on MPT2 at 10:30 According to the Amazon (US) listing it appears that the concert DVD will be included with the US CD release of 10 Years. That will be out on December 6.

I ordered the CD/DVD from Amazon.com (as well as the one I ordered from Amazon.it). I ordered it about 2 weeks ago. I came this past week–from Cyprus! It is exactly the same as the one I got the week before from Italian Amazon. There is no reason to wait to order it–the sooner you do, the sooner it will come!
I loved the pictures. Does anyone know when the special will be shown in Minneapolis? I’ll call PBS and see if I can get information. Thanks Daniela for sharing everything with us.

Just like three years ago, I just stumbled onto our PBS/WEDU station and, low and behold, there is IL Volo-the Matera program I believe. A small audience sitting at tables outside in a beautiful setting at night. It’s a wonderful show! Lucked out again!

There is something that always attracts you to them.
I tend to think that Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca will probably be doing interviews in Miami with some of the Spanish stations. In their early visits to the US, they made more appearances on various talk shows. A few years ago they made a few visits to the Today show and sang. They were promoting their Tribute to the Three Tenors CD. It would have been wonderful to have them at a store signing the new CD/DVD in the City and I would have gone to see them.
Some of my local PBS stations will be showing the Matera concert. WNET has it listed for Dec. 12th at 9:30 PM, Dec. 14 at 1:00 AM and 4:30 PM and Dec. 15 at 1:30 PM. WLIW has it listed for Dec. 22nd at 7:30 PM, Dec. 23 at 1:30 AM and Dec. 28 at 12:30 PM.
Margaret, it would be really very nice, if they appeared on the various talk shows, but I think the invitation should come from the broadcasts, which want them as guests.
I agree but it is curious that in their early years visiting the US, they did appear on various shows quite often and also did interviews.

Thank you for sharing the guys in New York and everywhere! I love seeing them and their activities and photo shoots. I hope you all had a wonderful time in The Big Apple!!! A dream for me would be to have been there and the ultimate gift would have been to run into the guys. I will continue to dream…I love the guys so much. I saw their Matera Concert on PBS here in my viewing area of Ohio. I loved every minute and are awaiting the delivery of the CD and the DVD…my Christmas gift to myself!!! 💞 enjoy your time here in America, and my love to the guys from the bottom of my heart…
