The two concerts at the Teatro Sferisterio in Macerata, on 5 and 6 September were a great success.

Il Volo captivates the audience at the Sferisterio in Macerata (sold out) for over two hours of great music. Tonight 6 September we repeat / VIDEO, photos, lineup and review.
Nothing to say. They are good and the public loves them. Sold out for the first (5 September 2024) of the two dates at the Sferisterio in Macerata (tonight it is repeated and there are no tickets, including the gallery) for Il Volo: Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble.
The tour “Tutti per Uno – Capolavoro tour” (produced by Friends & Partners), celebrates 15 years of the group’s career and friendship.
There are many songs in the setlist, but there is no shortage of moments of reflection and chats with Ignazio as the one who gets angry and the other two who tease him. The audience is there, laughs and applauds. “We have been away from Macerata for 9 years and it is an honor for us to be in this magical place”, they begin. Then Ginoble greets his family members present in the Arena and together they thank Michele Torpedine and Maurizio Tosoroni who took them to a memorable concert in the Frasassi Caves.
From young Italian revelations, today the trio boasts a consolidated international career, with hundreds of performances in the most prestigious theaters in the world and millions of records sold. More than two hours of music for a special evening, with Il Volo enchanting and exciting everyone present with a set list of songs
from the album “Ad Astra”, the first of the unreleased ones, which reflects the personal and artistic evolution of the trio – together with great successes from the Italian musical tradition and from the group’s now consolidated repertoire. And, there is no shortage of songs by Ennio Morricone. Supporting them is a large orchestra of over 40 elements.
Il Volo continues the celebrations of an important year in music: 2024 represents 15 years of career and began in February with the success of Capolavoro’, the song – certified Gold Record – presented at the 74th edition of the Sanremo Festival, continued with the dates in Japan and arrived at the Verona Arena with Tutti Per Uno (a project by Michele Torpedine), three special concert events with numerous guests on Canale 5.
On the stage of the Sferisterio in Macerata the three artists, together or individually, presented a large group of evergreen songs, from My way by Frank Sinatra to La cura by Franco Battiato, from Caruso by Lucio Dalla to Who wants to live forever by Queen, to Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen. A tribute also to the place with an intense interpretation of Il Mondo by Jimmy Fontana. We get to the encore with Grande amore… where it all began thanks to Michele Torpedine who immediately bet on those guys.
And it is the producer who reveals the group’s next projects to us: Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble will be the protagonists of a tour in the main European capitals in autumn and in 2025 they will be in the USA, Canada and Latin America, while in January they will touch the sports halls of Milan, Bologna, Turin and Rome.

Piero, your voice becomes more and more powerful, congratulations, the studies can be seen and heard!! ❤️ AMOR VIDA DE MI VIDA
You absolutely must see this video, the song is the beautiful MISERERE, a serious song. At the top of the video it says: “Being able to be funny even during Miserere is not everyone’s thing”, in fact here too Ignazio managed to make everyone laugh and now you will understand why.
The beginning of the song is entrusted to Gianluca and these are the words that he must sing:

But certainly the song that received most of the positive comments of these two concerts was the new song proposed by Gianluca, the wonderful MUSIC OF THE NIGHT taken from The Phantom of the Opera. Gianluca you surpassed yourself, what a voice, what thrills, what a feeling, what an emotion.❤️❤️🔥

But that’s not all, our Kirsten from Denmark was at her first concert and so as soon as she gets home we expect a nice report as in her style.
And then the surprises of these two concerts aren’t over, because during HERE’S TO YOU, as usual the guys dropped into the audience and Piero recognized someone in particular……but I’ll tell you in detail in a future post!! Don’t miss it.
Another very nice thing is these backstage photos. We are used to seeing Ignazio, Piero and Gianluca always perfectly dressed in their concerts but who thinks about ironing and checking their clothes?  In Macerata the STOP IRONING Ironing Shop took care of this. Here are the photos of the holder backstage and her words:

I honestly don’t know how many artists would have posed with photos together, well done our guys!!👏👏👏

The two concerts in Macerata are over and you will think that the boys are rightly resting, but no!!
On September 7 the boys were invited to a beautiful wedding, not that of Ignazio, but of a singer friend of theirs Arianna Bergamaschi, who had also sung Smile with them in Miami, remember?

She got married in Rome in San Pietro and also invited Il Volo as friends. Ignazio wasn’t there, he must surely be finalizing his preparations, but here are Piero and Gianluca.

PIERO= I wanted to thank you (Arianna and Oliver) for a gift you have given us. This year we are celebrating 15 years of our career and for the first time in 15 years we sat at two different tables (laughter) what a great gift!!
GIANLUCA= So??
PIERO= They put me at a table where they are all singers.
GIANLUCA= I am with producers, singers…
PIERO= … there is someone who sold me the impossible. He tells me Grande Amore, Grande Amore, I can’t take it anymore (ironic) Grande Amore,…… we can’t sing it, there are two of us and it’s made for three.
GIANLUCA= But we have a song in our repertoire that can be sung by two and that we all know.
(he continues in English) Is a very famous American song…..
PIERO= in Italian…
GIANLUCA= ….but there are some Americans, maybe…
PIERO= But if they are here in Italy, they make an effort to understand Italian! (laughter and applause)
GIANLUCA= So shall we sing directly?
PIERO= Let’s sing in English though! (laughter)
GIANLUCA= We didn’t do the soundcheck, without rehearsals.
ARIANNA= You are legends!!
GIANLUCA= Are you ready?
PIERO= Yes!
(My Way begins. Arianna, evidently happy with the surprise, warmly embraces Gianluca and Piero.   At the end of the beautiful song, Piero goes to the man sitting at his table to make him sing the chorus of Grande Amore) 🥰😂🥰😂
But now guys go and rest because there is the last concert of the Italian summer tour!!

September 9: CASERTA

In front of the beautiful Royal Palace of Caserta, right in the park in front of the entrance, a large stage was set up and in the background of the stage there was the writing IL VOLO!!
You should know that here we are in the Campania region, we are in the Neapolitan area and therefore the song list, as you will notice, has undergone some variations, this is to make you understand how Il Volo is attentive to the preferences of the areas in which their concerts take place. 👏

And so the Italian Summer Tour is over and I would say it was fantastic, lots and lots of people, lots of love and lots of skill!! Congratulations to Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca.💪❤️
Il Volo, on its official page, published these beautiful words:
Our summer tour has come to an end and we are still full of emotions. Every stage, every city, every stage was incredible thanks to you, who welcomed us with your warmth and energy.
We experienced moments that we will never forget. Your affection has accompanied us at every stage, and for this we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you for sharing part of your summer with us. In October we will leave for the European tour, and then return to the Italian arenas from January 2025 where we can’t wait to see you all again.
This is just the beginning of new horizons to share together.

But there is still a new commitment: on Sunday 13 September in the Arena in Verona there will be the TIM MUSIC AWARDS event where all the artists who have received results will be rewarded and Il Volo will be among them, so we will show you their performance and awards ceremony . 🥰
The next commitment will be the start of the European Tour on October 6th in London. 🎉
There are many empty days of commitments, could it be the time of the wedding between Ignazio and Michelle??? No news has been leaked but we will certainly try to inform you immediately if the event will take place. 😍😍
Michelle is getting ready, here is a video of the wedding dress fitting!! In the end Ignazio says that he doesn’t imagine anything, but one day Michelle accidentally showed him a photo and he immediately looked away……but now he sees from Michelle’s look that she is very happy!! 😍❤️

IL VOLO TOUR 2022: CLEARWATER and SUNRISE by Daniela

There is a lot of talk these days about the benefit concert on October 9, but first there was another concert.

October 7: CLEARWATER

The concert goes well, as usual, Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca wear their blue suits right from the start.

The vocal performances are always excellent and the audience is more and more in love.

Another beautiful stage of the tour is done, but the thought is immediately to the next concert, there is a lot of anticipation.
As announced by Il Volo, the concert, to be held in SUNRISE Arena, will be broadcast live streaming everywhere, and the proceeds will be donated to charity for the victims of Hurricane Jan.
Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca had a big heart to propose this initiative, born from their own ideas, and  for this cause, they also publicized the event, participating in various broadcasts:
They were interviewed by Camilo via twitter for Spanish CNN.

In this interview, Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca also answered questions asked by the fans.
In this short video there is a question asked to Ignazio, and exactly:

Camilo =  A good question:  Hi I want to know which one of you has a girlfriend and how you can have a long distance relationship.
Did you understand Ignazio? (He laughs)
Ignazio = The first part I did not understand.
Piero = (he explains in Italian to Ignazio) If you have a girlfriend, how do you maintain a long-distance relationship?
I had the girlfriend, I had.
Long-distance love is not easy, but if you want, everything is possible. Some things have a beginning and we don’t know when it will end, when it is the end, and we have to take advantage of each day as if it were the last, and I am a person who always does this. Then, I have no regrets in my life. Well, I’m happy like that.
(This definitely makes us understand that the relationship between Ignazio and Ana Paula is over. Ok Ignazio, we just need you to confirm that you are happy.)

They participate in the broadcast DESPIERTA AMERICA where, after talking about the live streaming concert for charity, they perform IL MONDO and EL TRISTE.

(Have fun reading my translation, I do not know Spanish but it is clear that being Italian I understand it enough and then I try to interpret, I hope I have interpreted well.)

At the beginning Piero explains that they will do a concert at SUNRISE, and it will be broadcast in live streaming and the donations will be in favor of the people affected by the hurricane.
Lili says it’s nice that three young Italians have this feeling towards the locals.
Ignazio explains that they know they have some influence and it is right that they use it to help people, he says that they have always been well received in South America and have a good connection with Florida.
Lili says to send a nice message to the fans.
Gianluca says that fans have been following them for 13 years, and for them it was a privilege to have made their passion their job. He says that the last two years of Covid have been tough and at this moment the hurricane has also come, and therefore as Piero and Ignazio said, they must help.
Ignazio explains that there are not many words to say, whole books can be written, but their, the artists, must think about how to help people, that is, by buying the ticket.
Piero says that on their social network there will be all the details, it will be very easy, something that even his grandmother could do.
Lili goes on to say that it will be enough to click to donate.
The other woman asks the guys how they have this great connection with fans everywhere, and Ignazio replies:
“Because we are Italian”. 😁😁😁
Then Piero tells that in the morning they woke up and he asked what they had to do promotion that day and then they told him that in the afternoon he would meet the love of his life (he is being gallant with Lili ….. exclamations of all)
The other woman says that if she (Lili) is the love of your life, you need to clarify.
Lili asks if they are all still single, because she hasn’t seen them for two years and she is a little lost.
Piero confirms that they are single. (at that moment Gianluca points outwards, probably Eleonora is there, and he intends to point her out to Lili).
Lili asks, again “Are you all single?”
Piero says he is single, then adds that he is single in Italy, in Miami he is not single (laughter) and then Piero confirms that in Miami he is not single, in the rest of the world he is single (he continues to be gallant with Lili ).
Lili says they (the staff) told her there was the interview, but she didn’t know it was with them (Il Volo).
Gianluca says that the surprise is the best thing.
Lili confirms that this is so and then she returns to the topic of the Sunday concert, and asks Il Volo to sing a piece for them, the other woman also asks to please do it and Il Volo performs a piece from IL MONDO a cappella. (applause) 🤗

At the end of the interview, while they were taking pictures, also this happened with Lili, poor Gianluca, hit in the head by an elbow !!

IGNAZIO = Then we will return in December doing indoor sports in Italy, on the 15th in Turin, on the 17th in Milan and on the 23rd in Rome …..

IGNAZIO = For tonight’s concert we will be live around 2:00 am in Italy, on our social networks you can find all the information, the platform is called StageIt.com
MAN = A nice tour of the world, but in all these concerts … America, Italy, Australia, is there a song that can never be missing and above all do you let us listen to it?
PIERO = We close all the concerts with Grande Amore, with that melody, we open the concerts with the Ecstasy of Gold, so it is a concert that ranges in more melodies.

There is a lot of anticipation for the concert and the day before the date Arianna the Singer also joins the project.
Arianna Bergamaschi is a very good Italian singer who lives in the U.S. She already sang with Il Volo about 10 years ago, it is a pity that here in Italy she is very little known.

Arianna wrote this:

October 9 – SUNRISE

And here we are finally on the night of the concert.

I too bought my ticket to participate in the streaming, but since here in Italy it will be 02:15 am,  I didn’t think I would see it …………… instead at 03:20 am I woke up and then I tried to connect, and it was wonderful, from My Way to the end I saw every moment, the image and the sound were perfect, I felt like I had  Il Volo singing in my  home, wonderful !! ❤
I would have liked to attach the video of the entire concert that my friend Carmen from Il Volo in Clase made, but unfortunately, the video was blocked.
There were the first images of the beginning, what emotion!!
The concert was amazing, the beautiful and large Sunrise arena was full of people in crazy love for Il Volo.
Ignazio, Piero and Gianluca, beautiful in their white suits and also very excited.
The audience greeted them with a roar. ❤
The lineup of songs is slightly varied, some songs in Spanish have been included, which I really like and which I propose to you in these videos.
