The tour continues unabated and we are now in Ecuador, again a wonderful welcome.
Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca only have one day off between one concert and another but during that day they have continuous interviews and the same questions are often repeated and therefore I will try to translate only if there are interesting and different things.
For example, this is a really nice video. During a stop, Gianluca tells this girl that in one day they will be in Argentina and asks her to say a local tongue twister. She says it and in the end Gianluca says, no, I can’t say it, it’s too difficult.
But then he tries and the result is good!!😁😁😁
In this interview in Los 40 Ecuador the boys are asked some questions.
QUESTION= The most sleepyhead.
GIANLUCA= Ignazio, he is a vampire.
Ignazio says he sleeps little at night, which is why he sleeps when he can.
QUESTION= Who is the one who eats the most.
GIANLUCA= Piero and Ignazio.
Then Gianluca also adds himself and in fact Ignazio says that yesterday he was eating a hamburger sandwich and a potato chip came out and immediately Gianluca was ready to take it.

In this video Ignazio, Piero and Gianluca say it’s been a long time since they’ve been back to Ecuador and they talk about the concert saying they’ll try to have fun.
Then they are asked the question that is very dear to the Equatorian fans, that is if each of them has a girlfriend. Piero replies that he is free, Ignazio too and Gianluca says that he is busy in Italy and they tell him to send her a greeting.
Eventually Ignazio invites everyone to the concert and Piero says it will be an Italian night, with three Italians singing Italian classics and there will be fun.

Gianluca makes all the Argentines sing the songs of the last World Cup they won.
And there have already been 6 concerts in less than 15 days, and they have all been a great success with the public. Multiple interviews and participation in shows, lots and lots of love for Il Volo, and Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca have felt all this love and have reciprocated with just as much love!!
But Brazil is waiting with 7 concerts……guys, rest your voices well when you have time, please!!

PR = Guys, I’m glad to see you, you are in three distinct parts of the country and since Italy was one of the countries most infected by the virus. First of all I want to know how you are and how you lived the quarantine and if anyone close to you got the virus.
P= Here the situation is sad, because it started here. All the people are locked in the house, but thank God our families have not been infected. The most important thing now is to be responsible, we don’t have to go out and we take care of everyone who is by our side.
PR = Of course, it’s super important.
Hey Gianluca, you have more than 10 years of life together, you are practically like brothers. What was it like spending this time?
G = We came back on March 13, a week earlier because we had to cancel some concerts of the tour in the United States. And we returned almost two months ago without seeing each other again, and it never happens, because we are always traveling together all year round, doing concerts, as you just said, we are like three brothers.
I really miss Ignazio and Piero, but obviously this is a world situation that is happening to us.
And we also hope to return to concerts for our fans around the world.
We miss singing on stage a lot, but we understand that the most important thing is health and that everyone is fine. It is very dangerous to go out on the streets. That we have to be home because of the pandemic is the most important thing, but soon we will get together. We hope.
PR = Of course, sure of it.
And it is good that you mention these concerts, which we are now experiencing virtually, Ignazio, in fact we started by watching the video of the Ave Maria, the song you sang at the event in front of the Pope, organized for Youth Day.
How was that experience?
I = It was nice. Well, this song moved us a lot, because we sang it in front of Pope Francis in January of last year.
And well, you know that singing is very important for us, for our life and for the people who have always supported us in these 10 years, and Ave Maria is a very exciting song for us, it has a phenomenal melody.
Well, I’m a little excited because I just heard that Gianluca misses us, and I was a little excited. (laugh)
PR = How nice, that we have been able to bring you together, even if it is virtually right now, and seeing your new video here today in “A NEW DAY”.
ALTISIMO LIVE – The biggest live event of Latin music and pop culture that supports farmworkers.
Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca have thus commented: “Happy to express solidarity to them and help in fundraising.”
For this event, Il Volo sang the song IL MONDO.
And so,RadioItalia, which sent on air, the mini concert recorded in November, where I was also in the audience …… what a fantastic experience !!
Finally, a CD with the song MA IL CIELO È SEMPRE PIÙ BLU, a nice song by Rino Gaetano (good and unfortunate Italian singer-songwriter, who died very young) was announced for sale on Amazon. The proceeds from the sale will go to the Italian Red Cross.
Of course,IL VOLOalso participated in the project!
And last but certainly not least, because in fact it has a lot, being UNICEF in the world, and being IL VOLO, the only singers to represent Italy.

Since there have been riots and popular demonstrations in Chile, there is concern about the concert, but the boys immediately reassured the fans about their presence at the concert.
In an interview, a journalist asked Piero why they decided to keep the concert in Chile, despite the climate of popular unrest. The boys responded:
“It would have been easy to decide. We don’t go to Chile, we go back to Italy and finish the tour. But the reason we wanted to go, all three together, is because we don’t want to leave our fans alone.”

During another interview, to the question of what they will do in 2020, the boys said this:
“In November there will be a special album to follow the celebration of the ten-year career. In 2020 we will continue with the second part of the tour of the United States and some other countries that we cannot yet reveal. Therefore, we have a very busy year.”

This first part of the world tour ends. South America has given us so much and all this energy received gives us strength and reminds us every day that we are on the right path, our road. Now we have all the charge and adrenaline for the next projects: the promotion of the new album “The Best of 10 Years”.

Guys, the Latin Tour was a great and deserved success.
But now it’s time to go home. Italy is waiting for you, a little rest and then off, immediately in promotion for the new CD.
To quote the song, “My Way…” “And now…. the end is near… and so we face, the final curtain….” I’m sure the guys are feeling this right now – maybe even a little bit of bittersweet, perhaps? Just a few more concerts in Kiev and Japan and a few more special appearances in Australia and the cruise ship, and it’s over. I can only imagine what they are thinking. We all know they are excitedly starting to work on their new project with Emilio, quickly leaving Notte Magica behind – at least for a little while.
Daniela found the following pictures for me and there were a few short videos, but somehow they cut off in the middle of them. I’m sure they are out there, but I did not find too many videos from Chile, but it’s about all the same from the last concerts…
