The Philly concert, according to Michele was fantastic! She had a wonderful time and is now heading to Boston for an encore!!!

The concert is tomorrow, September 14th at The Bank of America Pavilion in Boston.
The Bank America Pavilion is an outdoor amphitheatre located on the waterfront in Boston with a seating capacity of 5,000 it’s one of the larger venues in the area. Located on Boston’s Fan Pier, the seasonal amphitheatre is designed for easy assembly in the Spring and dismantling in the Fall. The high profile of the roof allows spectators to take in the panoramic view of the Boston skyline and provides the height needed for sound and light equipment behind the stage.The circular footprint of the amphitheatre would make it conducive to any arena type activity, only music is planned for this particular pavilion.

Gianluca tweeted last night ” I think of you!” He sends a tweet with a picture “Small hand compared to Ignazio’s.” He sends a Keek taken on the bus to Boston at 4am. Gianluca sent a later tweet “We’ll get to Boston in 3 hours, I’ll try to sleep now”
Piero sends a tweet last night “By by #Philidelphia on the way to #Boston.
Ignazio sent a Keek “Too Much fun” taken in San francisco and a tweet last night ” Good night everybody.”

“The Boys” sent tributes to Jimmy Fontana, the Italian singer and song writer who died on September 11th. Mr Fontana wrote the song “Il Mondo” among others.

Be sure to pre-order the Christmas CD “Buon Natale”, it will be released on October 22nd. We are looking forward to this new release.

Catch the video of a young Piero on Mundial, playing a classical piano piece and then singing. It’s amazing!

Pittsburgh is ready! Here comes Il Volo! The Concert is tonight at Heinz Hall.

Heinz Hall For the performing Arts in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was dedicated in 1971 and renovated in 1995. Heinz Hall is the cornerstone of the Cultural District of Pittsburgh; it evolved originally in 1927 as The Loews Penn Theatre. The theatre has an internation reputation for grandeur and excellence as a concert hall and show place. The theatre sits 2,661 and is the home of The Pittsburgh Symphomy Orchestra.

Hi Everyone,

It’s a slow knd of day, but that’s good news for Il Volo, they can continue to rest up before tomorrow night’s concert. It’s especially good news for Marie and her sister as they are going to see a well rested and ready to go Il Volo in Pittsburgh!!

“The Boys” rode nine hours on their bus from Montreal to Pittsburgh, they tweet that that they have arrived and looking forward to their concert tomorrow.

Gianluca tweeted last night “Insomnia!”, then tweeted this morning, “going back to sleep, I just slept 3 hours last night!! it’s not enough” I seem to remember that even when home in Italy, Gianluca was up at 3 or 4 in the morning tweeting. Prehaps his insomnia is not a new thing. I’m sure that being on the road and sleeping in different beds doesn’t help. Take care of yourself, Gianluca, stay healthy.
Gianluca tweeted later “Eating a big plateful of fruit as usual!!”
Piero tweeted and sent a photo of himself kissing a little girl, he said; “I heard our music style since I was her age.”
Piero tweeted last night “Pittsburgh we’re on our way!” He tweeted earlier this afternoon, “#Pittsburgh!!”
Ignazio, where are you?, let’s hear from you!!

Hi Everone,

The concert last night was a rousing success. The concert was held at the exciting Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada. The Bell Centre was built in Downtown Montreal in 1996, it replaced the aging Montreal Forum that was built in 1924. The Centre is considered the most technologically advanced venue in the world. Aside from concerts and other events, it is the home of the legendary ‘Montreal Canadiens Hockey Club’ There are some Photos of the concert on Il Volo Mundial.

Il volo now has two days off before the concert in Pittsburgh on September 11th at Heinz Hall.
We all hope Ignazio, Piero and Gianluca get a good rest for the next 2 days, they have a grueling schedule ahead. It’s a good time to give those beautiful voices a rest!!

No recent Tweets, they’re taking a little time away.

Gianluca says in an article found on Team Il Volo by ‘Times On Line’, “When we sing together it’s a beautiful sound”. The article points out that Gianluca said he is the outgoing member of the group and Ignazio the most bashful. That doesn’t sound like the Ignazio we know!!
The article reminds us of the groups appearance with Barbara Streisand in Her PBS special around Thanksgiving. “Buon Natale”, Il Volo’s PBS Christmas Special will air in December. Their new CD of that name will also be available..

The concert tonight, September 7th is at the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto, Canada. The Molson Is a semi enclosed outdoor concert venue, built in 1971. The theatre has hosted many diverse genres including Rock, Pop and Jazz.It has a seating capacity of 16,000, 5500 seats under a covered 60 foot roof.

He tweeted later that night “Kisses from #Toronto.”
Gianluca tweeted last night “You are so right for what’s wrong in my liiife!”
He tweeted later in the night “Already in my bedroom in Toronto, going to sleep..super super tired!”

It must have been a great honor for Il Volo to be the Featured Performers at last night’s Audrey’s Ball. The Charity event is given in honor of Audrey Hepburn, the beloved Screen Actress. Miss Hepburn toured all over the world for many years before her death to bring attention to the plight of starving children throughout the World.
