Eurovision 2015 ~ One Year has Passed ~ Lydka

Time flies so quickly. Sometimes I feel like it was just yesterday. After Eurovision boys have experienced a lot of success, such as the Italian summer tour, released new album in three versions, appeared in a number of show programs, and this year perform around the world…

So a little small remembrance of Eurovision. What I wrote before the contest….

My winner is Il Volo, have beautiful voices, they are making the kind of music that I love, in my opinion, these three boys are the best and should win.

I wish them good luck in the final ! 🙂 For me, they are winners, beautiful song, beautiful voices and especially I feel that when they sing, so sing their souls and always put into singing their whole heart and pure emotions. Their music and singing are able to reach, caress people’s hearts and evoke different feelings and strong emotions. For example, my mom, when she listens to their songs, she cries and I have goosebumps from their singing. When sounds Grande Amore, so I imagine how our Earth is all coated with a vibrating red heart full of love that spreads to all sides and above our Earth are placed a protective angel wings.  Music can also create visual sensations in our minds. 🙂 All-embracing love is the eternal essence of life and light that leads our souls on the way of goodness and beauty. I wish to the group Il Volo a lot of success in their future career, many good songs :-), fulfillment of all their dreams and especially, to stay still modest, kind, humble and gentle people with a heart in the right place. 🙂

Simplicity is beauty, good singers with beautiful voices and with beautiful emotional song need no lavish show.  Music should be perceived primarily through the ears, soul and heart.   In today’s world many singers are not real artists, they make music only as a business, they are only ”money makers”,  sing often on playback and they have huge and extravagant shows, but forget on the most important things, which are beautiful songs, beautiful voice and singing, and emotions that the singer puts into his performance. These things can make from them great real artists, not just dancing “mouth openers”, because the music is the mission and expression of love of life, nature, people..,  mediation of emotions.  There is no old music, only good and bad music.:-) It is not important whether singer is handsome or not, but important is his voice, his love of singing and music, his passion and joy that he gives into songs, humility, modesty, and mainly charisma and spark in the way of communication through his music.  Il Volo music has divine power. 🙂 Carla, one of Il Volo fan, wrote :  “This is the greatness of the real art: to transform human into divine!”, I agree with her, we have the same feelings, when we listen to Il Volo, they are really great ARTISTS . 🙂 Buona fortuna, ragazzi ! For me, you are winners, no matter at what place you end up in the finals. Let Grande amore prevail !♡❤❦

I wrote after Eurovision:

Il Volo demonstrated outstanding performance! They won the hearts of people across Europe and this is the most important! The whole evening I was looking forward to Il Volo, their performance was the highlight of the evening, a fantastic experience, for me THEY ARE THE BEST AND MY WINNERS!  I believe that they will take from this show only positive things and good memories I think that Eurovision was a good experience for them, gained many new fans in Europe and introduced people to their beautiful music, I believe that their career will be successful.

Televoting winners are Italians, so in fact they are the real winners, because people chose them and Grande Amore triumphed ! <3

So now Eurovision is the past and in front of Il Volo are many new challenges, events, concerts, and achievements and let us hope that also many successful years. 🙂 What does the future hold? Who knows ?…But let’s be always  patient, optimistic, supportive, loving and loyal fans. :-).   I believe that their stars will shine brightly and clearly on the musical heaven forever !  <3

A quick story about those plates… On our driving trip from New York in March Ineke and I stopped for dinner.   I, of course, was wearing one of my Il Volo t-shirts.   A man and woman were entering the restaurant as we were leaving.   The man looked at me and said, “Hey,  I know where you parked.”  Back on the highway about 15 minutes later a car past us and everyone inside was pointing and waving.   First thought… Was my car on fire?  No, the people waving looked too happy.   Finally it dawned on me and I turned to Ineke and said,  “it’s the license plate!”  just another Ilvolover passing us on the road.

Think there’s a self-help group for people like me?

The other day someone (yes, it was you Pirate) didn’t know Flight Crew had a twitter. The Billboard Music Awards are on Sunday night.   I won’t be watching.   It will be incomplete.

Finally, the whole world is learning that Il Volo is the best music for anything and everything.  Heck…We already knew that!  

Two Stories.

Russian figure skater Evgeni Plushenko performs on Grande Amore by Il Volo in his shows.  I like figure skating and good music.  I love Plushenko and Il Volo, and when it joins together, it is artistic experience of the highest category !

Who is Plushenko ?

Evgeni Viktorovich Plushenko, born 3 November 1982. He is a four-time Olympic medalist (2006 gold, 2014 team gold, 2002 & 2010 silver), a three-time World champion (2001, 2003, 2004), a seven-time European champion (2000, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2010, 2012), a four-time Grand Prix Final champion (1999–2000, 2000–01, 2002–03, 2004–05), and a ten-time Russian national champion (1999–2002, 2004–2006, 2010, 2012–2013).

I am fan of Plushenko, so I am very pleased with his choice of song in his program “Kings on Ice”. �� In one Russian program was told that he loves Grande Amore song. He chose many times also Italian songs or pieces of opera for his programs (for example Tosca ,Concierto de Aranjuez, Caruso, The Godfather, Adagio, The Swan, Moonlight Sonata..),  often arranged and played by violinist Edvin Marton ( I like his music).

Plushenko + Grande Amore

 A wonderful combination of music art and ice art. Plushenko always expresses great emotions on ice and love and dedication to his beloved sport. He is a great artist, as well as Il Volo are great artists, singers, together they give big honour to beauty in its pure and classical form and result is pleasure for the eyes and ears, balm for the heart and soul. I hope there will be other wonderful combination of Plushenko’s  mastery – virtuosity  with songs Il Volo ! 🙂

I had my own experience..

I was on his ice show with mom, when he visited my town a few years ago, great experience for me, although I was not able to get his autograph.  I miss Evgeni, he is best figure skater in the history, in my opinion. 🙂 And very charismatic entertainer who is doing his sport with whole heart and soul, big passion and love for his skating and this is thing which connects him with  Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca.

It’s official: Gio Benitez is a married man! The ABC newsman said “I do” to fiancé Tommy DiDario in Miami Saturday, the happy couple exclusively confirms to PEOPLE.
Surrounded by 160 friends and family, Benitez and DiDario exchanged self-written vows before sunset at the historic Walton House, a secluded English cottage framed by tropical gardens.
“It’s so special to see how excited our friends and family have been about this wedding,” says Benitez, 30. “It truly is a celebration of love – our own, and what love means in their own lives. We are so moved and humbled to celebrate together.”

Adds DiDario, 30, whose sister Megs officiated the wedding: “The support and love our family and friends have shown throughout this journey have made the entire experience that much more special.”
Both grooms wore J.Crew tuxes and custom-made ties by David Fin for their big day, with Benitez opting for a midnight navy combination and DiDario donning a chambray charcoal ensemble.
After their first kiss as husbands, the duo got the party started with their first dance to Il Volo’s cover of “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” from Disney’s The Lion King.
The couple was feted by many members of Benitez’s extended news family, including Sam Champion, Shepard Smith, Martha Raddatz and Kevin Ozebek, Benitez’s best man. Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry, publicist Howard Bragman and Broadway director and producer Richard Jay-Alexander were also in attendance.
Prior to the celebration, the couple had a pre-wedding getaway to Key Largo, Florida, with family and friends.

Who knows what Il Volo’s first performance in the United States was? Nope, it wasn’t American Idol! In February 2011, Il Volo performed on this show and blew the audience away..

At  Friday, May 6, starts the three-day festival Rinfiorata di Naro  –  recycling event, which aims to combine – in the splendid Baroque city – the realization of artistic floral arrangements with a sustainable way of life and be  attentive to environmental protection, through recycling and separate collection of waste, in an integrated multi-purpose trail.  Is one way to encourage and strengthen environmental sustainability, culture, tourism of the area.
