It is the first of the evenings of Canale 5 where Il Volo will present the concerts TUTTI PER UNO – VIAGGIO NEL TEMPO, recorded in Mantua at the beautiful Palazzo Te.
There is a lot of anticipation on the part of the television audience to understand if, this time too, the ratings will be the maximum of the evening.
I am also ready to enjoy the evening, I did not want to watch the numerous fan videos on purpose even if I was very curious, I tried to maintain the surprise effect as much as possible.
Now that I have seen the entire concert I can say that Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca were as always not only good but also very professional, they entertained and sang with many guests, always putting them at ease and never overwhelming them, like good “hosts”.
I was truly amazed to see the pouring rain, reminding me of my experience two years ago.
Beautiful scenic settings projected on the background of the exedra of Palazzo Te, bright lights have scratched the evening animated also by a beautiful full moon.
A large classical orchestra with the introduction of a rock element (guitars and drums) and a large choir directed by Maestro Marcello Rota and on the piano the inevitable Maestro Grani.
A very high expectation that was as always respected by the skill of our Piero, Gianluca and Ignazio: Il Volo!!
But here is the video of the evening.
I propose both the one from Mediaset that I know is not visible in some foreign areas and the video from YouTube that is not visible in Italy. I hope that everyone can see this beautiful concert.
The warm and always perfect voices of Ignazio, Gianluca and Piero, sweet and sensitive in the heartfelt moments, high and untouchable in the moments of greatest impact, certainly did not disappoint anyone, but as always delighted those who listened to them enraptured.
Step by step I will explain and list the various songs, translating things roughly.
If you want some particular translation let me know without problems.
Enjoy the viewing!!
English subtitles can be activated on the following YouTube video.
A really exciting start with a unique play of lights, Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca enter to the powerful music rock of Europe THE FINAL COUNTDOWN, spectacular!!👏
After the initial greetings to the audience, the thanks to Canale 5 and the hospitality of Palazzo Te in Mantua, the guys tell that the show will also be a journey through time marked by the timer in the background that will decree the year of the song performed.
You hear some guitar chords and the first big guest is introduced: Eros Ramazzotti!!
Eros starts immediately by performing his beautiful song UN’ALTRA TE, him and his guitar, at the end of the exedra, after the audience and at the beginning of the Palazzo. (This performance was recorded on the third evening but in the editing it was inserted in the first concert). 🥰
Eros Ramazzotti is called on stage by the guys. Eros and Il Volo had already sung together years ago. Eros is a good singer-songwriter, his songs are very beautiful and at this point three beautiful duets are born.
Eros sings with Piero ADESSO TU (1986). 🥰 With Gianluca he sings SE BASTASSE UNA CANZONE (1990).🥰 With Ignazio he sings PIÙ BELLA COSA (1996).🥰
Wonderful songs from my youth!!!
Finally, before saying goodbye, Eros sings just one last beautiful song of his: UNA STORIA IMPORTANTE (1985)
It’s time for a duet between Piero and Ignazio on a beautiful song by Albano. There are very few singers who can sing this song with very high notes, compliments to Ignazio and Piero: È LA MIA VITA (2007) 👏👏
It’s the first solo and it’s Gianluca who performs amazingly on the beautiful song by Colplay VIVA LA VIDA (2008). Bravo Gianluca!👏
It’s time to introduce the female figure who will be the co-host of the evening, the time timer stops on 2009.
PIERO= 2009, it reminds me of a very important date, I even put it in my passport.
GIANLUCA= Maybe it reminds you of something too, I would call it year zero because it’s the year in which the three of us met, the year in which our story together began.
IGNAZIO= We can say that it was born in the studios of TI LASCIO UNA CANZONE (Rai 1), we were very young and none of us would have expected that our life would have completely changed from that moment.
PIERO= Gentlemen, if we have been together for 16 years it’s also her fault.
She is a person to whom we owe a lot, we must thank her and be eternally grateful, she is a great friend, she has always been with us, at our side with text messages on the phone but she has always been there.
GIANLUCA = at TUTTI PER UNO we have the honor of having with us tonight:
G+I+P= Antonella Clerici.
Antonella enters and after the initial greetings, Antonella expresses her emotion and honor of being on stage together with Il Volo.
Then an image of TI LASCIO UNA CANZONE is projected and there is laughter and also memories of how our three guys were at the beginning.
Antonella remembers that Piero was the most serious, Gianluca the dandy and Ignazio the troublemaker and they discover that the three of them are still the same and she can’t believe that Ignazio is now about to become a father.
Antonella confirms her pride in following the various stages around the world of her three children, like a second mother and also remembers that in 2015 when they showed up at Sanremo she called the host of the event saying that Il Volo would surely win and in fact it was so.
At this point Il Volo dedicates to Antonella the always beautiful victorious song: GRANDE AMORE ❤️
Let’s move on to a beautiful song that is part of Il Volo’s repertoire: L’IMMENSITÀ, performed at Sanremo in 1967. 🥰
A short comic moment follows, with Antonella showing old photos trying to make comparisons with our guys. Ignazio is compared to a gladiator. Piero to a scholar. Gianluca to the Sun King! And then a photo of our three guys with long 80s style hair is shown and at the end Ignazio tries to follow in Michael Jackson’s steps. 🤣
Now it’s time for a young guest singer who will perform a duet with Gianluca, she is Gaia and together they duet on the beautiful song L’APPUNTAMENTO (1970), very sweet Gianluca and Gaia!! 🥰
And now it’s time for a great guest, the talented singer-songwriter Gigi D’alessio. He is also a great friend of our kids.
Gigi starts with a beautiful duet with Ignazio, with whom he sings the beautiful NON DIRGLI MAI. (2000) 🥰
Gigi continues by recalling that he also knew the first years of Il Volo when they were very young. Gigi is also a great friend of our kids and they say that he is a special person.
They all perform Gigi’s beautiful song QUANTI AMORI (2004) together and at the end of the performance Gigi talks about a project in favor of Sicilian children. Great!!! ❤️
The concert continues with the song by Pino Donaggio from the Il Volo repertoire, IO CHE NON VIVO (1962). When I hear this song I can’t help but sing! 😍
Now it’s a very sweet moment, on stage there is a solo by Piero who will perform FUNICULÌ FUNICULÀ (1880) and will be accompanied by the very good children of the San Bernardino choir of the city of Chiari.
Let me say that Chiari is a town in Brescia, right near Roncadelle where I live, also the whole orchestra and the adult choir are from Franciacorta which is also an area of Brescia, a great pride of mine!!
The little children are very good with Piero who is very sweet with them. ❤️
Now the comic character of the evening is introduced: Giorgio Panariello who plays a man from the future. With sympathy and many jokes there is a brief comic moment with a space suit that should disappear on command but that doesn’t work.
Finally Panariello introduces the beautiful song by David Bowie performed by a very talented Gianluca reading these beautiful words:
“It was 1972, the world was in pieces, a bit like today. A boy turns on the radio and hears a voice coming from space, it was the voice of a man, a man of the stars, a good alien who doesn’t want to invade but who wants to talk, wants to dialogue.
The alien says – guys you are not alone, there is something out there, there is hope out there.
David Bowie didn’t just give us a song, but a simple, revolutionary message in a time of uncertainty, to tell us that even if the world out there seems gray, there will be a starman ready to tell us that there is still a future.”
STARMAN (1972) 😍
It’s time for another special guest: Fiorella Mannoia, she is a good interpreter with a truly unique voice, she is 71 years old and together with Ignazio she will duet singing the beautiful song by Vasco Rossi from 1996: SALLY.
A wonderful duet! ❤️
And now Il Volo with the beautiful song brought to Sanremo 2024: CAPOLAVORO 🥰
It’s time for a solo, this time it’s Piero who with great professionalism and skill performs the beautiful romance from Tosca: E LUCEVAN LE STELLE ❤️
Giorgio Panariello returns and with him the comic moment of the evening.
As a man from the future, Giorgio brings on stage three innovative musical instruments that are in use in the future and with which Il Volo must get to know because the future concerts will be held on Mars and that is why Katy Perry has already gone to explore the locations suitable for her next live!! 😂😂
Panariello finally asks the guys to try the tools of the future that he brought.
He makes Gianluca try SPHERE which is like a big transparent helmet so that the solar wind doesn’t mess up your hair. Obviously when Gian sings nobody hears anything. 🤣
He makes Piero try the VOICE EXPANDER, but in the end it sounds like a vacuum cleaner tube and Panariello says that at the end of the performance the stage is clean! 🤣
He makes Ignazio try the VIBRAVOX which is used to obtain the vibrato. Needless to say, Ignazio has a lot of fun using it.🤣
In the end Panariello makes the whole audience sing VOLARE using the throat vibrator!! 😂😂😂
All very funny indeed, well done Giorgio Panariello. 👏
After the laughter, the show continues with another welcome guest: MASSIMO RANIERI.
Gianluca and Massimo Ranieri perform a duet on his beautiful song MIA RAGIONE (2020) 🥰
Massimo Ranieni’s voice, despite his age (74 years) is still really strong, congratulations.
At this point Piero, Ignazio, Gianluca and Massimo let loose on a great success by Massimo Ranieri: SE BRUCIASSE LA CITTÀ (1970) I think all of Italy sang it that year.
Furthermore, everyone mentions the movements made back then on that song, too strong!! ❤️
It’s time for a beautiful song by the group CCCP from 1980, later brought to success also by Gianna Nannini, the title is AMANDOTI and Piero performs it with the talented singer Malika Ajane. 🥰
Full speed ahead with an opera aria by Verdi, sung by Il Volo with skill and irony.
The introduction with Antonella Clerici is also done in a comical way.
I remind you that in Rigoletto, this aria is performed in the last act by the Duke of Mantua: LA DONNA È MOBILE (1851). 😍
It’s time for another solo by Gianluca. In the presentation, Gianluca with Antonella, explain that certain songs that remain in history, are born by chance.
This is what happened for this beautiful song by the Beatles. The words were thought up by Paul Mc.Cartney dedicated to Julian, John Lennon’s little son who was sad about his parents’ separation. Later the name Julian was replaced by Jude, and that’s how the beautiful song HEY JUDE (1968) was born, here performed with great skill by Gianluca. 😍
Listening to this beautiful song you all must sing, its words are known all over the world. Written in 1965 and brought to success by Jimmy Fontana, Il Volo sings: IL MONDO 😍
It’s time for a very important guest, he is a great friend and supporter of our guys.
The age advances but the class is intact and the very good tenor PLACIDO DOMINGO, applauded performs in duet with Piero, in French, the beautiful aria AU FOND DU TEMPLE SAINT written by Bizet in 1883.
I must say that Piero holds and conducts this beautiful aria very well, bravo! 👏
Domingo always has nice words for our guys that he always remarks with great affection.
Now Il Volo will sing NESSUN DORMA, the beautiful aria from Turandot and written by Puccini in 1926.
Exceptional conductor Placido Domingo. 👏
The evening continues with a solo by Ignazio. The sweet song was written and brought to success by the talented Mia Martini in 1982: E NON FINISCE MICA IL CIELO
Ignazio performs it with great emotion. 😍
The following song was written and sung with great vigor, by Riccardo Cocciante in 1978.
Later a much sweeter version was performed by the singer Rino Gaetano and it is precisely this version that Piero and Gianluca will perform in this beautiful duet. This song was sung only once by Piero in a live radio broadcast and I must say that everyone immediately liked it: A MANO A MANO ❤️
And here they are all three reunited, our talented Piero, Gianluca and Ignazio who perform with great skill IL MARE DEL SILENZIO presented at Sanremo in 1968 in a duet by Tony Del Monaco and Dionne Warwick. Stupendous! 😍
This next song has become the soundtrack of a beautiful film, we know it very well by now because it is part of the repertoire that is usually sung by Il Volo, but it is always a pleasure to listen to it again, in this case in a duet by Ignazio and Gianluca: UNCHAINED MELODY (1955) 😍
The talented Massimo Ranieri (74 years old) returns to the stage and performs one of his beautiful songs presented this year at Sanremo 2025: TRA LE TUE MANI UN CUORE👏
But how good ABBA were, I think everyone knows them and Ignazio thought of performing a beautiful solo, challenging and full of impact. WE WINNER TAKES IT ALL (1980). Bravissimo Ignazio!! ❤️
We are almost at the end of the evening and there is a very sweet moment to say goodbye to Antonella who immediately takes the opportunity by entering the stage, to bring a gift to Ignazio for Gabriele, a nice bib on which is embroidered TI LASCIO UN BAVAGLINO, ZIA ANTO, (I leave you a bib, aunt Anto) how sweet.
Then the boys make Antonella sit down and dedicate to her the beautiful song by Aznavour SHE, written in 1974, sung here in the Italian version UGUALE A LEI.
Antonella deeply moved cannot hold back the tears. ❤️
Like all good things, this concert has come to an end. And what better way to end with the beautiful AD ASTRA. (2024)
Ignazio, Gianluca and Piero did a great job, they spent a lot of energy for a beautiful concert.
Many songs were performed, many of which are not part of the usual repertoire of Il Volo.
It was a celebration of music because space was given to recent songs and ancient arias, with mixed musical tastes, from pop to rock to classical and all well performed.
When the artists are of the caliber of Gianluca, Ignazio and Piero it is a great satisfaction and pride to be able to attend one of their live concerts, because what you see on TV is what you see and hear live, without tricks, without deception but only skill.
The television ratings were once again the highest of the evening, once again rewarding the skills of Il Volo.
Now the second concert awaits us, the one I attended.
See you soon: Daniela 🤗
A video and some nice photos of the rehearsal and concert moments.
And the time for the Mantua concerts has arrived!!
I had tickets for Saturday, May 10, for me, my husband and my daughter-in-law’s mother, and now here I am to tell you what I saw and heard.
As you know, the concerts scheduled in Mantua in the Exedra of the beautiful Palazzo Te were 3 and exactly on May 8 – 10 – 11. I had tickets for the 10th and I was hoping for optimal weather because the week before the concerts had not been nice at all, in fact the first concert, on day 8, took place in the rain …..
This video released by our guys that day is very fun….
PIERO= Come on guys, we can do it even in the rain.
IGNAZIO= (he confirms with a gesture)
PIERO= Two drops won’t stop us.🥰
GIANLUCA= Not even the rain will stop us. 🥰
But now let’s get to the concert I attended on May 11th.
LOCATION= The Exedra of Palazzo Te looked very good, 4,000 seats and a large stage right in the conclusion of the garden and behind the stage the arches that close Exedra.
Everything was very beautiful but the Verona Arena is definitely a bigger sight, a different impact!
A large classical orchestra, with the addition of electric guitars and drums and a large choir accompany the music conducted by Maestro Rota.
The inevitable Maestro Grani on the piano!
Ignazio, Gianluca and Piero, elegant in dark suits.
Two large side screens to better see the protagonists of the evening.
A beautiful scenography flowed between the various mural arches of the end garden of Palazzo Te.
A scenography itself had also been obtained from the beautiful mural paintings of the rooms of Palazzo Te.
Every now and then on the big screen behind the singers a large time clock appears that stops on the year of the chosen song’s release.
CONCERT BEGINNING= Spectacular!!! For the opening song THE FINAL COUNTDOWN by Europe was used, a really powerful way to start, with the use of lights and a scathing rock singing, really beautiful!
I didn’t make videos because I knew that there would be a TV broadcast soon and then there were many fans in better positions than me so the videos I use here are not mine.
A selection of beautiful songs, many and of every genre. It ranges from classical opera to pop and rock. Piero Ignazio and Gianluca can interpret any genre, they are chameleons of music!!
The titles of the songs chosen are mainly for an Italian audience, I remember in fact that they will be broadcast on Canale 5 and therefore the Italian singer-songwriters have been valorized and the guests are predominantly Italian.
Naturally, all the hits from Il Volo’s musical repertoire were sung during the three evenings.
I didn’t write the list of songs, but I have to tell you that I really appreciated the memory of Raffaella Carrà.
The medley of Domenico Modugno (Volare author) songs proposed by Gianluca is very beautiful, Gianluca’s interpretations take your heart.
By the way, a detail that you won’t see on TV, when Gianluca started singing the first song: Amara Terra Mia, shortly after the beginning Gianluca stopped the song apologizing to the audience and also to the orchestra because he said he couldn’t hear his voice in the in-ear headphones and so he had the beginning repeated.
The opera aria from TROVATORE is very beautiful and much appreciated: Di Quella Pira L’orrendo Foco , sung by Piero.
Spectacular Ignazio in the interpretation of a Queen song: I Want It All.
But then there were beautiful duets between our guys and also with the guests of the evening including Giorgia, Marco Masini, Noemi, Venditti, Mario Biondi etc.
The evening was co-hosted with the good showgirl Lorella Cuccarini, elegant and nice (she is 60 years old) with whom there was also a brief but nice memory of Blues Brothers and of Grease.
The comic moments were entrusted to Enrico Brignano, who in a short moment went on stage dressed as CAESAR and then introduced the song Nelle Tue Mani from The Gladiator.
In a second, much longer moment, we all laughed with Brignano dressed as Garibaldi and our boys who played three Garibaldians who every time they heard the name “flag” in the speech waved and sang a song dedicated to the flag, truly a hilarious moment!
Another hilarious moment was when the photo of our guys in 80’s style appeared, ah ah ah!!
A very beautiful and really sweet moment was when Ignazio, before presenting his solo ISN’T SHE LOVELY by Stevie Wonder, read a short letter dedicated to Gabriele, what sweet words from the future father, Ignazio.
IGNAZIO= This year I’m going to be a dad. Now I’m going to read a letter, who knows if I’ll be able to finish it and it’s also short.
It says:
My dear son….. (he is excited and fans himself with the paper – applause)
……I don’t know what it will be like to receive the most precious gift that life will give me.
I don’t know what it will be like when I’m too far away to wake you up in the morning and tell you that I LOVE YOU.
I don’t know what it will be like when you take my hand and with your sweet eyes and your sweet voice you call me Dad!! ❤️
(applause – the duet with Alessandra Amoroso begins)
The most touching moment was when they sang Hallelujah dedicating it to Barbara Vitali who passed away a year ago.
The concert lasted 3½ hours and the voices of our Gianluca, Piero and Ignazio were always spectacular, sweet in the tender moments, but strong in the moments of power, always attentive in the duets with the guests so as not to contrast or overshadow the performers, in short always delightful!!
I don’t want to reveal too much about the concert because you will see it from the Canale 5 video.
In the meantime, it has been announced that the first concert will be broadcast on May 19, followed by May 26 and June 2.
However, in the moments preceding the concert, when you understand that you are there and the wait is over, the emotion is sky-high, because you know that you will witness something well done and well performed and then there is also the meeting with the fans that perhaps you only know through the connection with Flight Crew, a meeting between people of different ages, languages, nations but all united by a single love, that for music, or rather, beautiful music!!
And that’s how the Mantua concert was the meeting place for Kristen and her husband Steen from Denmark. ❤️❤️
Jolanta from Poland ❤️
and INA from Germany ❤️
I am very happy to have had the opportunity to meet all of you in person!! 🥰
And now a series of my photos of the concert:
Mantua warmly welcomed Il Volo who was staying right in the historic center of Mantua.
Here are some videos showing the fans waiting for Ignazio, Piero and Gianluca outside their hotel.
Expect three great concerts, there will be a lot to see and hear and we will talk about it in detail.
The concerts on U.S. soil are almost running out, the days are passing quickly and Il Volo’s performances continue at a rapid pace with many successes.
March 24
The tour stops in Baltimore, the concert was in the JOSEPH MEYERHOFF SYMPHONY HALL.
Best Concert 🥰 by M.Hdz. on 3/28/25 Meyerhoff Symphony Hall – Baltimore Rating: 5 out of 5
Il Volo is worth the money. This is the first concert that I’ve gone to for them and they didn’t disappoint. They’re voices live are so incredible. The set of songs was marvelous. The place was beautiful but was not full. That was a disappointment. Il Volo deserves a full house (maybe it was the location?) I recommend people to go. Love them. 🥰🥰
March 26
North Bethesda, the concert was in THE MUSIC CENTER AT STRATHMORE, another sold out!!
My dear friend Deborah Georgini Beaupre was also at the concert and she made some really beautiful videos and photos, thanks Deborah!! 🥰

Fantastic by MiMi on 4/1/25 Mohegan Sun Arena – Uncasville Rating: 5 out of 5
This was the most amazing concert I have ever attended. The voices of IL Volo are like none that I have ever heard. They touch your soul with their beautiful voices. It was an amazing experience and I cannot wait for them to return to the States. I am still reeling over this concert. It truly was an unforgettable night of the most beautiful music.
Thank God for Il Volo! by Voloer4Life on 4/1/25 Mohegan Sun Arena – Uncasville Rating: 5 out of 5
What an incredible concert!!! My wife and I were thrilled to hear our favorites, she cried when they sang Cinema Paradiso and I cheered for every song, especially the powerful Italian opera that Piero nailed! Gianluca and Ignazio have such charisma on stage and the three truly perform as friends and great entertainers. After 15 years together (I was blessed to see them in concert after they first won the Italian talent show that brought them together) you can see they’ve mastered their craft not just as musicians but as performers! From their witty jokes, nearly perfected English and most wonderfully Ignazio’s marriage, I’m just so glad we have Il Volo to keep beautiful music alive, and to add more of their own! I will certainly be buying tickets next time they come in to America!!!
More photos . . .
Cindi Dominguez was at the concert and she always comments on Flight Crew, great evening Cindi, I think you really had fun!!
And so, four more concerts were successful and always a loving success with a lot of audiences.
Next stop Boston for the last concert in the U.S. and then they will be in Canada!!
Music, voice and energy: “Il Volo” conquers the Pompeii Amphitheatre
POMPEII. In the evocative setting of the Pompeii Amphitheatre, the famous Italian trio “Il Volo” offered an unforgettable evening to all the spectators present. The Pompeian stage of the “Tutti per uno – Capolavoro” tour saw the enthusiastic participation of an audience of all ages, who packed the arena in an atmosphere that perfectly combined music and antiquity.
For “Il Volo” it is a welcome return to the excavations of Pompeii, after the event that saw them perform in the Teatro Grande in 2015. What better occasion, therefore, to “celebrate” the milestone of the first 15 years of activity together even in the shadow of Vesuvius?
The trio, composed of the tenors Piero Barone and Ignazio Boschetto and the baritone Gianluca Ginoble, brought to the stage a varied repertoire, ranging 360 degrees across the musical panorama: from cinema soundtracks to famous arias from the Italian opera tradition, from homages to the great of pop music, up to the international successes of pop music.
Accompanied on stage by the orchestra directed by Edmondo Savio, their performance once again demonstrated the unique ability of “Il Volo” to combine impeccable vocal technique with overwhelming passion.
The opening of the concert was marked by the song “Nelle tue mani”, theme of “Il Gladiatore”, which immediately captured the attention of the spectators, transporting them into an epic and solemn atmosphere, perfectly suited to the place. The audience responded with warm applause, creating an immediate bond between artists and spectators.
After A love so great and “ Nessun Dorma”, the long-awaited greeting from the trio: «Good evening Pompeii!» which unleashes the first interminable applause from the audience, including, exceptionally, the Minister of Culture, Gennaro Sangiuliano.
The “Tutti per uno – Capolavoro” tour also highlights the individualities of the three artists who have been sharing a unique musical path for five decades, on the common thread of a pop-lyrical original. Ignazio thus decides to pay homage to Pino Daniele and touches us deeply with his interpretations of “Resta cu’ mme” and “Quanno chiove”.
Gianluca remembers the beginning of Elvis Presley’s career, an episode of one day from 70 years ago, and then sings “Can’t Help Falling in Love”. Finally, it is Piero’s turn to give a (further) test of his qualities as a tenor with “E lucean le stelle.”
The trio comes together to offer four highly applauded songs that unleash the desire of the fans to sing: “Se Telephone”, “Capolavoro” (the song that “Il Volo” brought to Sanremo 2024), “Frammenti di Universo” and “Miserere “. Then again solo parentheses that enhance the individuality and sensitivity of the three artists. Ignazio moves with “At least you in the universe”, Gianluca excites with “La Cura” while Piero excites everyone with “Maravilla”.
We return together for Nuovo cinema cielo, for “My way” by Frank Sinatra and for “Hallelujah” which in the intentions of “Il Volo” becomes a sort of “prayer” «for the victims of these difficult years which have seen the pandemic, natural disasters and wars , which we now thought we could only read in history books.”
For the next piece, “Here’s to you”, Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca give the audience a welcome surprise by getting off the stage and walking in the audience, while their fans are almost in disbelief. Then we return to the stage for the final rush, which sees L’estasi dell’oro follow one another, before “ Il mondo all’ incontrario” and “Ad Astra” which belong to their latest album Per aspera ad astra. And they still cannot be missed: “Caruso” (among the most emotional moments of the show), “Who wants to live forever” and “Il mondo.”
But isn’t there still a piece missing from the set list? Obvious, and it is the one loudly requested by the fans throughout the evening: it is “Grande Amore” with which the Trio triumphed in Sanremo in 2015. The powerful and harmonious voices of the trio echoed in the amphitheatre, giving the public a moment of pure ecstasy. The evening ended with thunderous applause and ovations, with Il Volo thanking the public and Pompeii for the warm welcome.
Of this second video, I’ll translate the conversations between the guys so you can laugh a little. 😂
Gianluca tells his companions that the people welcomed them with festive shouts and Ignazio replies that he would have preferred them to greet them with kebabs in their hands (an Abruzzo specialty, roasted meat strung on sticks).
Then Gianluca reads some signs held by people and it says “THE CAPOLAVORO IS YOU” and Ignazio says: “Be careful not to mix up the lines, otherwise it reads: YOU CAPOLAVORO ARE THE” 😂😂😂😂
Then Gianluca says that he is happy to be there to celebrate 15 years of career and Piero he says that in all the concerts Gianluca always asks if there are any people from Abruzzo and he can’t find any so Ignazio confirms that tonight they are all from Abruzzo and therefore Gianluca is happy and says: “Finally at my house.”
Then Piero asks if there are any Sicilians and someone answers and then Piero says: “You see, they are always there, whereas you from Abruzzo are always here, you never move.”
MISERERE
How beautiful is this video below shot by Ercole Ginoble, what emotion and what pride.
How nice to see such intense participation of the people and…..have you noticed how many young people???
SE TELEFONANDO
During CAPOLAVORO it happens that Gianluca takes little Ambra from the audience, how sweet these images are. 🥰
Gianluca’s words are beautiful in this video below, and I will translate them for you:
“While I’m here, I want to say hello to all my family who are all here, you’re all here, but above all my grandfather Ernesto who is right there, grandfather get up! Great grandfather! And grandmother Teresa too, here they are. I love you, I love you, thank you, I am very happy, moved, excited. Thank you! 😍
And how beautiful, touching, sweet is this special hug to Grandpa Ernesto? Incredible and so sweet!! ❤️
I won’t add anything else, but it’s clear that Abruzzo welcomed Il Volo with great warmth. 🤩
So far the Italian tour is going very well, even the comments made by the press and people are nice and the local radio stations are highlighting the concert.
It’s a shame that Barbara isn’t there to see these successes! 😥
A nice roundup of photos of Lanciano.
In the next photo a restaurateur delivers to Gianluca (I think during the rehearsals) the famous meat kebabs, specialties from Abruzzo. 🤩
But how beautiful are these latest photos of Lanciano? In one shot so much emotion and complicity.
These photos really make us understand that Il Volo is a large extended family. 🤩

“Musart Festival Florence 2024” – Il Volo concert in Pratolino
Il Volo, the most famous Italian trio in the world, performed last night in concert at the Musart Festival Florence in the evocative setting of the Medici Park of Pratolino, a handful of kilometers from the city centre.
Il Volo is the trio formed by the talented Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble and with the summer tour “Tutti Per Uno – Capolavoro” they decided to celebrate 15 years of career and long friendship with the Italian public, bringing the new songs from the first album of unreleased songs “Ad Astra” released last March. Among the songs performed, also the single “Capolavoro”, presented at the last Sanremo Festival.
In addition to the unreleased songs, Gianluca, Ignazio and Piero thrilled the audience with a setlist full of emotions, attempting the greatest hits of the Italian and international musical tradition, showing the many facets of the artistic evolution of its individual members. In fact, there were many moments in which each of them performed singing individually, thus also giving space to the telling of anecdotes and memories linked to the personal history of each of them.
There were also some real moments of entertainment with which the members of the trio demonstrated, once again, that they know how to entertain the public not only thanks to their undeniable singing skills.
Another magical evening in front of the Giant of the Medici Park of Pratolino.
And to end on a high note, I propose this beautiful article by OK MUGELLO, I was really happy to read the beautiful and sincere words of the author Massimiliano Miniati.👏👏👏👏👏🤩🤩🤩
Il Volo in concert – All the emotion between opera and pop
On the stage of the Musart Festival “Tutti Per Uno – Capolavoro” the tour of the 15 years of activity of “Il Volo”, the most famous Italian trio in the world…
I make amends, when they came out of Clerici’s talent show, three kids singing and posing as grown-ups left me a bit annoyed, then they grew up and last night in the Pratolino park, I discovered that they have become “Great” not only of age and, what I had decided to go and see more for “news purposes” than for pleasure, turned into a truly extraordinary event.
On the stage of the Musart Festival “Tutti Per Uno – Capolavoro” the tour of the 15 years of activity of “Il Volo” the most famous Italian trio in the world which was welcomed by the applause of an oceanic crowd who had reached the park of Villa Demidoff with every means made available by the organizers.
They open as a trio, then a piece each as soloists: Ignazio Boschetto sings and makes everyone’s skin crawl with “Almeno tu nell’Universo”, Gianluca Ginoble “Can’t Help Falling in Love” and Piero Barone “E lucean le stelle “ and from that moment it is a succession of emotions and applause with a deliberately pandering set list which, sooner or later, manages to drag you into the vortex of notes, whether you are a lover of opera or pop music.
They sing “Se Telephone” “Capolavoro” (the song presented at the last Sanremo) “Miserere” “The sea, impetuous at sunset…” Then one of the songs from the new album, the beautiful “Succede” and again a tribute to Morricone with the soundtrack of “Nuovo cinema cielo” which they transformed into “Se” and from the new album “Il mondo all’incontrario”.
They ask to turn on their cell phone flashlights and sing “Hallelujah” as the park transforms into a beautiful carpet of white lights. Then again Morricone with “Here’s to you” which Gianluca Ginoble comes down to sing in the audience, the inevitable “Caruso” and a thrilling interpretation by Piero Barone of “Who Wants to Live Forever” and in trio (and all the audience who sings) with “Il mondo”.
Inevitable ending with “Grande amore” of this beautiful concert, full of emotions, great music and three great voices that made everyone understand that those three kids have become great, indeed very great and to me that sometimes being a little prejudiced is wrong and that, it is not easy to change your mind, but fortunately, sometimes “It happens”! (Succede)
This beautiful video of Hallelujah was taken by the author of the article.
I thank our friends Yukio and Kumico for recording the entire video with Ignazio’s words which I translate……what a heart these guys have!! 🤩
So, I wasn’t supposed to play the guitar this evening, but I decided to play it because there’s something beautiful about it. Basically, this guitar was given to me by Mr. Paoletti who is Tuscan and has a huge company that is growing in Italy but is famous all over the world, he makes some crazy guitars.
I’m not here to advertise because he gave me the guitar, but because together with them, who are fantastic people, a very serious company, we came up with this idea at the end of the tour, to give this guitar away by auctioning it and donating all the proceeds from the children of S. Orsola in Bologna (Applause) All this together with Paoletti, then maybe on our social networks we will put “auction starting 0.2 cents, a bit like E-Bay, remember E-Bay, is it still there?
Here, so and the proceeds will be given there, and now I will try to make a bad impression with the guitar. (The song IL MARE IMPETUOSO AL TRAMONTO begins.)
The summer Italian tour, which began in Caracalla, continues through several beautiful Italian locations.
June 30 CATTOLICA

Two hours of passionate and moving repertoire with tributes to great singer-songwriters such as Battiato, Cohen and Sinatra.
Having successfully archived the concert in Emilia Romagna, Il Volo will go to Veneto where it will perform two concerts: Marostica and Venice.
The governor of Veneto: Luca Zaia published these beautiful words:
🗣️🎤🎶 This weekend will be a “Masterpiece” with the double concert of Il Volo in Veneto!
The opera trio, which this year celebrates 15 years of career, will enchant two of the most beautiful squares in our region: Piazza degli Scacchi in Marostica this evening and Piazza San Marco in Venice tomorrow evening.
WELCOME TO VENETO GIANLUCA, IGNAZIO AND PIERO‼
July 3 MAROSTICA
3 July, the concert is in Marostica in the beautiful Piazza degli Scacchi (where the chess game is played with real people).
Unfortunately the weather was not favourable, it was cloudy all day and it rained in the evening, the Il Volo concert opened the concert season in Marostica.
But despite the weather it was a success. I immediately propose this article from THE FRONT ROW:
IL VOLO: SOLD OUT FOR THE FIRST EVENING OF THE MAROSTICA SUMMER FESTIVAL
The first evening of the Marostica Summer Festival featured the famous trio Il Volo, who gave the public an unforgettable musical experience despite the adverse weather conditions. With a sold out which confirmed their popularity, the three young tenors demonstrated once again their talent and their ability to enchant audiences of all ages.
Despite the pouring rain that accompanied the evening, the audience of the Marostica Summer Festival did not let itself be discouraged, filling every corner of the suggestive Piazza Castello to watch the trio’s performance. Il Volo was able to transform a meteorologically unfavorable evening into a memorable event, performing with great energy and passion.
Il Volo, composed of Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble, began its journey in 2009, when the three met while participating in the talent show “Ti lascio una canzone”. Since then, their career has been a crescendo of successes that has led them to tread the most prestigious stages in the world.
In 2010, Il Volo released their first album of the same name, which quickly climbed the international charts, achieving great success in Italy and abroad. Their unique style, which blends Italian opera tradition with pop, has won over a large audience, making them ambassadors of Italian music in the world.
Throughout their career, Il Volo has collected numerous awards and recognitions, testimony to their talent and dedication to music. Among the most important awards, the victory at the Sanremo Festival in 2015 with the song “Grande Amore” stands out, which marked a turning point in their career, leading them to represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest of the same year, where they placed third.
Their album “Grande Amore” went platinum in Italy and consolidated their international fame. The trio has also received numerous other awards, including Latin Pop Albums Artist of the Year at the Billboard Latin Music Awards and Special Lifetime Achievement Award at the Wind Music Awards.
The concert setlist included some of their most famous songs, alternating with pieces from their latest album. The perfect harmony of their voices, combined with their stage presence and ability to interact with the audience, created a magical atmosphere that warmed the hearts of those present.
The trio once again demonstrated their professionalism, adapting to the difficult climatic conditions and maintaining a high level of performance. The audience, for its part, responded with enthusiasm, applauding and singing along with the three tenors, in an engaging exchange of emotions.
The success of Il Volo at the Marostica Summer Festival is yet another confirmation of their ability to unite different generations through music.
Their modern interpretation of the opera tradition continues to win fans around the world, making them one of the most loved and respected Italian groups internationally.
The first evening of the Marostica Summer Festival was a triumph of talent and passion, thanks to the extraordinary performance of the Il Volo trio. Despite the rain, the audience was able to live a unique experience, confirming once again that quality music can overcome any obstacle.
And here are some videos in a nice summary of the evening made by Due Punti Events.
Despite the rain, Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca joined the audience during HERE’S TO YOU.
HALLELUIAH + SUCCEDE
This article from TV A VICENZA which I translated for you is also very nice.
WITH “IL VOLO” THE MAROSTICA SUMMER FEST TAKES OFF
Thank you emotions last night in Marostica thanks to the performance of “Il Volo”, in a Piazza degli Scacchi seething with enthusiasm despite the rain.
VOICE= The rain does not slow down the take-off of the Marostica Summer Festival Volksbank. Il Volo immediately sold out at the fourth stop in Piazza degli Scacchi where it debuted in 2014.
GIANLUCA= Thanks for still being here after 10 years. (cheers)
IGNAZIO= Especially on these summer evenings, arid, not very humid. (laughter)
PIERO= However, I have to tell you, the water I see in Veneto, nowhere. (laughter – he means that the rain he sees in Veneto, he doesn’t see anywhere, remembering that even the concert in the Arena one year ago, Verona is also in Veneto)
VOICE= Under ponchos and cloaks, 4,000 applaud Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble, standard bearers of pop-lyrical music that conquers international audiences.
The 10 years of the Festival coincide with the 15 years of career that the trio celebrates with the TUTTI PER UNO – CAPOLAVORO tour, from the title of the song taken to Sanremo.
New projects but also a return to their origins in the square that saw them take flight.
July 4 VENICE
And here we are at the 4thofJuly, a very important date to remember for you Americans!!!
The concert is in Venice in the beautiful Piazza S. Marco, a truly beautiful corner that serves as a backdrop for our guys.
The weather is beautiful, the sky is blue and in the afternoon Gianluca sends us this short and beautiful video of the concert venue.
The evening is wonderful and Piazza San Marco is filled with people, everything is ready for the concert.
And here they are: Gianluca, Ignazio and Piero. ❤️❤️❤️
There are many videos from the evening that I am going to propose to you.
NELLE TUE MANI(Now we are free) from Il Gladiatore. (video from La Voce di Venezia)
SHOW MUST GO ON (Ignazio)
LA CURA (Gianluca)
AMOR VIDA DE MI VIDA
HERE’S TO YOU with Piero , Gianluca and Ignazio into audience and then ECSTASY OF GOLD.
The first concert in San Marco of the summer: the music stands out IL VOLO.
In Piazza San Marco, in Venice, two hours of music performed in the ‘classical bel canto’ style by Il Volo: an unforgettable evening.
The first concert in San Marco of the summer could not have had a better start. Pietro Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble, aka Il Volo, won over the 6 thousand spectators (including coffee) with their fantastic voices used as perfect instruments (video below). It was an exciting evening as hasn’t happened in Venice for a long time.
A finally clear sky, a summer but cool evening, the splendid monumental setting of the most beautiful square in the world, were the setting for a special evening. On stage the musical group that has been enchanting the audience for 15 years with their harmonies and a classical repertoire that winks at the modern one loved by all.
The notes of opera arias by Puccini and Verdi, of songs by the legendary Ennio Morricone, of traditional Italian and international songs resonated in the San Marco wedding favor with great elegance. But all tastes will have been satisfied having ranged from A Love So Big to Nessun Dorma, from Caruso to At least you in the Universe, through the famous music of Gladiator, up to Hallelujah. And at the center of the program are their great successes: “Grande Amore”, and “Capolavoro” , which is already a Gold Record.
“Good evening Venice, for us it is a great emotion to be here to celebrate our 15 years of career together”. But the audience felt the emotion (and some shivers) of being able to hear those instruments with perfect intonation.
All the “women” of Il Volo were present at the concert: (from left) Eleonora Ginoble, (not very visible, she is turned away), follows Caterina Boschetto, Eleonora Barone, Nina Boschetto and Michelle Bertolini.
In the short video, during Here’s to You, Piero goes to kiss his mother, that day was Eleonora Barone’s birthday. 🎉🍾🥂🎂
Maestro Grani also published this photo with these words:
“I think back to the concert in Piazza San Marco, and I still feel a very intense emotion. I think it’s the most beautiful place I’ve ever played. And I think I’m very lucky. Thank you.”
But that’s not all, because the next day POOH performed in the same square, which you will surely remember well. POOH were guests of Il Volo last year in the Arena and Il Volo was their guest at the stadium.
Well POOH asked Il Volo to be their guests during the concert in Venice, they will sing two songs: PIERRE and UOMINI SOLI with them and the concert will be presented by Michelle Hunziker.
This concludes the adventure in Venice, now off to Val d’Aosta!!
It was certainly a spectacular concert which would certainly have been nice to attend, both to be able to applaud our golden boys again and again, but also for the beautiful location.
I watched the whole concert via web cam in the square, but of course there was no audio, but from the movements of our boys I could imagine their songs.
Outside the barriers of the square, many people had gathered to be able to listen in the distance and they always remained there until the end of the concert.
I read that the various “cafés” that have tables in the square asked for 120 euros to sit at a table where it was not possible to see the concert due to the barriers, but they could hear.
At the same time as me, Pat from Missouri and Kirsten from Denmark were also watching the webcam and exchanging impressions with me and once again we thought how much Il Volo and their music can unite and weave invisible threads from one extreme to the other.
In short, this time too everything went well, a great success, and a lot of satisfaction for our boys who are receiving wonderful reviews and a lot of warmth from the public.
Daniela 🤗
