Pat and I had already prepared a post on the latest news concerning the recording of the new record, but today was published an interview made to Michele Torpedine, it is really interesting and at the end it communicates some really good news about our guys.
The interview is long and at the beginning they are questions about Torpedine’s book, of which he seems to want to do a second part.
Later on, he talks about the non-recognition of certain artists and at this point Torpedine starts talking about IL VOLO and from there I will translate word by word.
QUESTION = Not everyone is like that.
Torpedine = There are exceptions, and I was lucky enough to meet one …. or rather three: the boys of IL VOLO, as we understand from the title of the book, dedicated to them.
When I met them and put them together as a trio, they were so young ……. think that 10 years have already passed!
With Gianluca, Piero and Ignazio and their families, good people, a relationship was born that goes well beyond the professional one.
Together we joke, we laugh, then we are serious, collecting world successes: but the human side, their being true and clean, for me is an added value that, in this environment, is a rare commodity.

Il Volo is about to return. Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca have posted some shots that portray them in the recording room with the producer Michela Canova. Meanwhile, “Duets Forever” came out for which they collaborated with the unleashed Cristina D’Avena.
Il Volo is preparing a return in style. After the breath of news with the song “Noche sin dia” which in the summer had shown the Latin American spirit of the three artists, was released yesterday “Duets Forever” last album by Cristina D’Avena that collects her greatest hits and for which the boys of Il Volo have lent their voices.

THE NEW ALBUM
The last post published by Il Volo on social media dates back to yesterday. From the group’s Instagram page you can see the three smiling guys, in the recording room, in the company of the record producer and arranger Michele Canova. The caption reads:

Waiting to know what these irrepressible talents have in store, the trio has enjoyed singing the well known “D’Artagnan and the King’s Musketeers” alongside of the Queen of TV, theme songs for kids. Performing a piece with Cristina D’Avena represented a true return to childhood and at the same time the demonstration that it is really true that everyone sings Cristina. So many novelties are boiling in the pot. It is unclear whether in the input Il Volo is spreading alludes to the release of the new album, in which – we remember – should be important names among the collaborations, including Ermal Meta and Tiziano Ferro. What shines through is a restless and irrepressible enthusiasm.
Whatever the nature of the surprise, it is to be expected so much by these artists that even in different shapes and facets they continue to capture the admiration of endless crowds of fans, coming from every part of the globe and belonging to different generations. I would say that there is so much news they are adding and the works in the recording room are not finished yet but will have to be temporarily abandoned due to the tour.
What do you think of the Christmas concert in Lebanon?
I think that to be finished by February, the guys will have to work a lot, also considering the commitments made.
Everyone surely knows that in boys last week they were in Zagreb (Croatia), and in Slovenia to promote their next concerts.
They did a lot of interviews and lots of beautiful photos that you have seen published on the countless Facebook pages.

During their visit to Hungary, they were also in a car dealership, PAPPAS AUTO, where they were involved in a test drive on a new Mercedes car, so they got in the car launched at high speed.

These were really intense days, full of appointments.
As usual, our boys did not escape these dutiful appointments, but they faced them, always with sympathy and good humor.
But fatigue definitely made itself felt and we understand this message posted by Gianluca.

Rest well deserved, but for a while, soon the concerts begin.
I believe that we have all seen the photos that portray Piero and Gianluca with two girls who seem to have captured their hearts.
We are, of course, talking about gossip, but because the photos have appeared in the newspapers and even on all the Facebook pages, we also talk here, treating the news, just as a gossip.

Let’s start by saying that the girl is called Valentina Allegri and she is 23 years old.
She is the daughter of Max Allegri, the well-known football coach of Juventus.
In the picture we can clearly see Piero, Valentina hugging her father.
Behind them we see Ambra Angiolini, who is an actress and showgirl, currently a partner of Valentina’s father. Before that she was Francesco Renga’s wife – he wrote L’AMORE SI MUOVE.
It seems that the photo was taken at the end of Sunday lunch, where the family meets.
Valentina took the opportunity to present Piero to her father.
Rumors, they say that the two met at the end of July, so it’s a very recent thing.
Valentina studies Modern Literature at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, and this photo was posted today by Piero.

Of the new romance of Gianluca, for the moment there are few things to unveil. Because from very little we learned of this new story, that is since they were seen together in Taormina for the GDS Show a few days ago, even if it seems like they’ve been dating for more time, or at least that’s what the rumors say.
Her name is Francesca. She is from Roseto degli Abruzzi, the same area of Italy as Gianluca.
As you all may have noticed, there is a strong resemblance to Martina, or at least the characteristic traits are similar.
Here Francesca is near Gianluca, during a dinner in Taormina with friends. Also present is Ignazio.
Really a beautiful girl.

It all started in July, while IL VOLO was in Taormina for the Notte Magica 2018 concert.
Salvo La Rosa, is a great friend and admirer of the boys, who has always supported and presented them, on various occasions in Sicily.
“In July, in front of a granita (al Bambar) I invited Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca to the GDS SHOW on September 15th in Taormina.
With generosity, IL VOLO, will participate in this magical evening.
The proceeds will be donated to charity.”
Then, even our friend Dave Monaco, (remember, the first singer taken under the new label of Torpedine and IL VOLO), lets us know that he will be present at the evening, with this message:
“Good morning friends, I am glad to tell you that I will be taking part in the GDS Show! It will be a great honor to share the stage with many artists and my friends of Il Volo, thank you very much to Salvo La Rosa for the invitation!

Good thing that Deborah was able, at the last moment to find a ticket for the show.
The guys sang three songs: they started with L’AMORE SI MUOVE.
During the presentation, Salvo la Rosa, says that when the boys were in Taormina in July, he joined them and asked them if they would participate in the show and they immediately said yes!
Immediately after, they sang the splendid CARUSO.
In the interview after the songs, Salvo la Rosa asks the boys if they have a particular memory to tell. In fact, he himself, remembers when there was the first Italian concert, after the great success they had abroad and their first Italian concert was held here in Taormina.
Piero says it was frustrating for them, to be so successful abroad and not to sing in their country.
Salvo La Rosa remembers having hosted in one of his programs the guys from IL VOLO who said “We want to sing at home”.
Ignazio intervenes to point out joking, that they sing at home in the shower, but they wanted to sing in Italy.
Salvo goes on to say that Taormina has brought them luck.
Gianluca continues by saying that Taormina is now a fixed stop.
Piero adds that there are many friends, that Gianluca is Sicilian by adoption, that Ignazio taught Gianluca to speak Sicilian.
Gianluca pronounces two or three words in Sicilian and everyone laughs.
Salvo asks them for what they are preparing. Piero answers that they are working on a new album, because next year will be 10 years of their career.
Salvo says they were children, but success has been steady and growing.
Gianluca says that there is still a lot that they have to show and that they will be ready to surprise the public and their fans who have been following them for many years.
Salvo says that every time they post a photo of the guys or a video of them on social media it’s a success. He says that in an evening where love is celebrated, you stay and sing your GRANDE AMORE.
