Hi Everyone,

The concert last night in Valencia was fabulous, The Boys were on their game and the huge crowd was into it!! Good job Il Volo!

Tonight’s concert is in Caracas (USB). As there is little information on the venue, I thought we’d do a little tour of Caracas, Venezeula!

Caracas (Spanish pronunciation: [kaˈɾakas]), officially Santiago de León de Caracas, is the capital and largest city of Venezuela; natives or residents are known as Caraquenians in English (Spanish: Caraqueños).

Caracas is located in the northern part of the country, following the contours of the narrow Caracas Valley on the Venezuelan coastal mountain range (Cordillera de la Costa). Terrain suitable for building lies between 760 and 910 m (2,490 and 2,990 ft) above sea level. The valley is close to the Caribbean Sea, separated from the coast by a steep 2,200 m (7,200 ft) high mountain range, Cerro El Ávila; to the south there are more hills and mountains.

Metropolitan District of Caracas includes the Distrito Capital and four other municipalities in Miranda State: Chacao, Baruta, Sucre, and El Hatillo. The Distrito Capital had a population of 1,943,901 as of 2011,[1] while that of Metropolitan District of Caracas was estimated at 3,055,000 as of (2013).

It has been announced that Il Volo cancelled an appearance at The Myan Culture Festival on October 19th. We are assuming it is due to their busy concert schedule.

Dates to keep in mind:
October 22nd–release of “Buon Natale”
November 29th– Holiday performance and signing at Mall of America.
December 1st–Il Volo VIP Wine and Dine in Detroit.

Keep watching for any new dates in December as we receive them.

The concert tomorrow is in Maricaibo, Venezeula at Aula Magna URU.

Many of you, well, some of you,  ok three of you, have asked me for more poetry.  I wrote this poem for “Concert Week Part Deux”.  A project we might do together this winter.  But, (be kind, my soul’s on the line) – I wrote it now.  It feels like now.  It’s for now.

TO SEE THEM

I want to see Them again and again.
I don’t care where and I don’t care when.

I think you all know who They are.
They’re my loves, They’re my stars.

I imagined I was just sitting there
in a red, velvet, VIP chair.

Could They be amazing like before?
A hush happened and then a roar.

Is this a dream so real and clear?
How can I feel Them, then, so near?

I held my breath, both hands shook.
Then opened my eyes and took a look.

I rubbed them both, I stared real hard
and there THEY were in my backyard!

Singing to me where wild birds flew
on a grass filled stage where flowers grew.

How grateful I am for what I hear,
music, full and rich, filled my ear.

I smiled, I knew They really weren’t there.
But close your eyes if you dare.

You can see and hear Them, plain as day.
Perfect music never fades away.

Hi Everyone,

The concert in Monterrey was by all accounts, spectacular! The crowds have been unbelievable!

The next concert is on October 11th in Valencia, Venezuela at The Forum.

Forum de Valencia is an indoor sporting arena located in the Venezuelan city of Valencia, Carabobo. The capacity of the arena is 10,000 and is used mostly for basketball and concerts.

Twitters, Tweets and Keeks:
Gianluca tweeted last night, “Here at airport in Mexico City, connection to Bogota then Valencia!” The trip from Mexico City in apparently an long one! Gianluca also tweeted a new stunning picture of himself! Get ready ladies!
Piero tweeted yesterday “Constantemente Mia” he later tweeted “On our way to #Valencia.”
Ignazio sent via Brabble a short video of him “dancing”, says “Dancing a little bit”

News has it that Grace Marie Gonzalez-Perez, a soprano and ballet dancer will be opening for Il Volo before a sold out crowd in El Salvador. Check her picture on Mundial, she’s very attractive too.
