Hey, friends,

Here’s the video link from 3 years ago when IL VOLO expressed their dream (to sing at Radio City Music Hall) and sang a little bit of “This Time” on the street. Check out the cute little boy’s smile near the end.

All smiles, and celebrating that dreams really DO come true!

Hi Everyone,

Tonights concert is at The Tampa Bay Times Forum, on the West Coast of Florida.

The Tampa Bay Times Forum is home to the National Hockey League’s Tampa Bay Lightning and the AFL’s Tampa Bay Storm. The venue was referred to as the Ice Palace from its opening in 1996 through 2002 when it was commonly called the St Pete Times Forum until late 2011. The Tampa Bay Times Forum box office is located at 401 Channelside Drive in Tampa, Florida. The arena was built for $139 million and has a maximum seating capacity of 21,500. Tampa Bay Times Forum tickets have included major events like the NHL Stanley Cup, All-Star Game, the NCAA men’s basketball tournament, and many WWE events. Almost all the hottest concerts stop in Tampa by coming through the forum like Britney Spears, Taylor Swift, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Neil Diamond.

Twitters, Tweets and Keeks:
Gianluca tweets yeaterday “I think of you” with one of his special selfies! He tweeted “taking off” later tweeted “Landed in Tampa” and “Florida here we come”

Hi Everyone,

Tonights concert is at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury, NY.

Recognized by audiences and performing artists as one of the most comfortable, friendly, and acoustically-inviting theatres in the greater New York metro area, the NYCB Theatre at Westbury presents a broad range of acclaimed performers geared to virtually every entertainment taste and interest. The venue has a rich and storied history that begins in 1956 when three partners, Frank Ford, Lee Guber and Shelly Gross, stepped out of car to inspect the underdeveloped industrial site that was to become the Westbury Music Fair.

The Westbury Music Fair became a reality on June 18, 1956 when the three entrepreneurs opened their first Westbury production. The show was “The King and I” staring Charles Korvin and Constance Carpenter.

In 1966, recognizing the ever increasing hunger for more entertainment on Long Island, the tent gave way to a state of the art, fully enclosed theatre-in-the-round. The expanded programming enabled Music Fair Productions to present both Broadway shows and top name talent year round.

The first show to be held in the new facility in 1966 was Jack Benny with Special Guest Wayne Newton. Among the many shows to be held at Westbury over the years were performances by Judy Garland (1967), The Who (1968), and Bruce Springsteen (1975) as well as regular appearances by such notable stars as Tony Bennett, Tom Jones, Don Rickles, Diana Ross and many more.

This theatre has special memories for me. I was a teenager (hard to believe) living on Long Island when this theatre opened, it was quite the talk at the time!

“The Boys” were apparently spending time in NY on their day off. New York is a favorite place for them. I’m sure they are looking forward also to the upcoming Radio City Concert.

Twitters and Tweets:
Gianluca tweeted 2 days ago “And love’s kept me cool in July and warm in December.” He has sent us 2 tweets with pictures of himself, one stated “Live from my bed” and the other, last night “Sweet dreams.” He’s keeping fan’s hearts fluttering!
Piero tweeted 2 days ago “Live free, be free #love #my #life”
He also tweeted after the Boston concert “Boston was amazing.”
Ignazio tweeted yesterday with a photo “Eating Edamane, could eat a thousand of them.”

Check out the interview on Team Il Volo “Il Volo”s Four Backstage Secrets” (Parade.com). The author of the article stated, “The demographic profile of their fan base is one of the most comprehensive I have ever witnessed and consists of Gen X, Gen Y, Baby Boomers and Pre Baby Boomers’ She also says “They are wise and sensitive beyond their years”

Please note also on Team Il Volo the announcement of “Il Volo Private Wine and Dine” being held in Detroit on December 1st.

We are eagerly awaiting Michele’s concert experiences and photos.

On a personal note, LeeLee (from this site) and your “Girl Reporter” are meeting for the first time and going to the Concert in Miami on Saturday! We are very excited!!

Love and Luck tonight, Il Volo!

Hi Everone,

The concert last night was a rousing success. The concert was held at the exciting Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada. The Bell Centre was built in Downtown Montreal in 1996, it replaced the aging Montreal Forum that was built in 1924. The Centre is considered the most technologically advanced venue in the world. Aside from concerts and other events, it is the home of the legendary ‘Montreal Canadiens Hockey Club’ There are some Photos of the concert on Il Volo Mundial.

Il volo now has two days off before the concert in Pittsburgh on September 11th at Heinz Hall.
We all hope Ignazio, Piero and Gianluca get a good rest for the next 2 days, they have a grueling schedule ahead. It’s a good time to give those beautiful voices a rest!!

No recent Tweets, they’re taking a little time away.

Gianluca says in an article found on Team Il Volo by ‘Times On Line’, “When we sing together it’s a beautiful sound”. The article points out that Gianluca said he is the outgoing member of the group and Ignazio the most bashful. That doesn’t sound like the Ignazio we know!!
The article reminds us of the groups appearance with Barbara Streisand in Her PBS special around Thanksgiving. “Buon Natale”, Il Volo’s PBS Christmas Special will air in December. Their new CD of that name will also be available..

Check our Blog, there are many great pictures and stories from Marie of the Detroit Concert.

Have a good few days off, “Boys” get rested and ready for Pittsburgh!

He tweeted later that night “Kisses from #Toronto.”
Gianluca tweeted last night “You are so right for what’s wrong in my liiife!”
He tweeted later in the night “Already in my bedroom in Toronto, going to sleep..super super tired!”

It must have been a great honor for Il Volo to be the Featured Performers at last night’s Audrey’s Ball. The Charity event is given in honor of Audrey Hepburn, the beloved Screen Actress. Miss Hepburn toured all over the world for many years before her death to bring attention to the plight of starving children throughout the World.

Check Team Il volo for 2 interesting articles “For Il Volo’s Gianluca Ginoble, everything is beautiful” in the National Post.
See also the article “Review of Il Volo at the Saroyon Theatre” by Fresno Beehive.See Mundial for some very nice videos of performances from several concerts. They also have some nice photos.

Read the amazing stories of the adventures of our Flight Crew at the concerts they attended. Look on the left side of our page for the link to experiences. Enjoy too, the nice photos sent in by the “Crew”, with promises of more to come.

Thank you all for your Birthday wishes, I appreciate them very much!!!!

Love and Luck, Il Volo, for tonight’s performance!!
