Beautiful Voices!

The videos are not perfect, the voices are however!  I do a lot of fumbling with the camera, dodging heads and glasses, yet for every aggravation I believe there are beautiful moments worthy of sharing. Someone else might just delete these videos, but for all of my shortcomings in photography, the moments of joy in a perfect note, a beautiful smile, an interaction between Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca are moments in time I just could not bear to throw away.

Earlier today Christine wrote,  “You don’t by any chance have Night and Day stored away on video that you are holding out on us, do you?”  So I told her I do!  Unfortunately I only have part of Gianluca’s solo because the concert police came around and told us to stop!   Hahaha!  Just kidding not real police!

Anyway, I have already mentioned that it did feel a little rude to take videos right on the front row, but I was not the only one!  I have to admit it was sort of a relief to just watch for a change.  I love to take pictures, if I have a camera in my hand – I just can’t help myself!   What better models could a photographer ever have than Gianluca, Ignazio and Piero!   I can’t think of a single one!

So here you go … half of what would have been an AMAZING video!

I tried to tell Jenny that there were too many wonderful comments to try to categorize, compile and compare.  I told her all we can do is re-read, re-listen and re-chill.  She didn’t listen to me (no one ever does).  So, Jenny has done this amazing video for us.  I can’t imagine all of my favorite things in one spot.  Thank you so much Jenny.   ~Marie

Thank you all so much for your wonderful contributions to this challenge.  I relived all the “moments” and found new things to melt over each time!  The most mentioned song was El Mundo, followed by El Triste and No Puede Ser, then O Sole Mio, Night and Day, We Are Love, Tous Les Visages, the National Anthem (Pittsburgh and Boston) Granada and Maria (both solo and combined versions).  Most of their other songs were mentioned at least once.  A lot of touching moments were mentioned too, so for those and the earlier songs that are not out on CD, here is a you-tube compilation to have fun with.
It’s amazing that we all share such good taste!
