Report

Hi Everyone,

It’s a slow knd of day, but that’s good news for Il Volo, they can continue to rest up before tomorrow night’s concert. It’s especially good news for Marie and her sister as they are going to see a well rested and ready to go Il Volo in Pittsburgh!!

“The Boys” rode nine hours on their bus from Montreal to Pittsburgh, they tweet that that they have arrived and looking forward to their concert tomorrow.

Gianluca tweeted last night “Insomnia!”, then tweeted this morning, “going back to sleep, I just slept 3 hours last night!! it’s not enough” I seem to remember that even when home in Italy, Gianluca was up at 3 or 4 in the morning tweeting. Prehaps his insomnia is not a new thing. I’m sure that being on the road and sleeping in different beds doesn’t help. Take care of yourself, Gianluca, stay healthy.
Gianluca tweeted later “Eating a big plateful of fruit as usual!!”
Piero tweeted and sent a photo of himself kissing a little girl, he said; “I heard our music style since I was her age.”
Piero tweeted last night “Pittsburgh we’re on our way!” He tweeted earlier this afternoon, “#Pittsburgh!!”
Ignazio, where are you?, let’s hear from you!!

Check out Team Il volo for a short article about the appearance of “The Boys” at the Audrey Ball in Houston.
We would also like to wish Team Il volo a happy second anniversary, congrats to all of you!!

Mundial has some good photos and videos for you to check out.

Tune in tomorrow for some info on the Pittsburgh Concert.

Report

Hi Everyone,

It was a night off for Il Volo. Gianluca, Ignazio and Piero had a much deserved night off after three days in a row of amazing concerts. They surely deserve a little free time.
Gianluca tweeted a picture of himself, said he had his hair straightened (at Soonies). We ladies were a little sad; we all love those curls so much!
There are some nice photos of “The Boys” around LA with some friends, on Mundial Facebook.

1) Twitter, Tweets and Keeks:
Gianluca tweeted a picture of himself with #becool pic.
Piero tweeted a picture of him with the guys of Jackass.
Ignazio where are you? no Tweets in 3 days!

2) Check out Team Il Volo for 2 great interviews.
A visit with HFPA for a round table interview before the LA concert. Gianluca says of the audiences, that “The hot girls bring their grandmothers” alluding to the fact that their audiences are a mixture of younger and older fans.
They sat for an interview with Jessica Carrillo also before the LA concert. One amusing bit from that interview is Ignazio saying they really don’t fight, they sometimes argue, but no one notices because they are loud anyway!!

3) By accident today we noticed there was a encore of “The Talk” with an apearance by Il Volo first shown a month ago. Would you believe just as they were coming on the network interrupted with a special bulletin? Oh well, we caught about 30 seconds of it anyway. Important national news has to take precedent, but we were disappointed.

Il Volo’s concert tonight at Fresno Opera House should be a good one in a beautiful Venue. Our Elaine is lucky enough to be attending her 2nd concert this week! Enjoy Elaine!

We wish “the Boys” Love and Luck tonight!

Hi Everyone,

The concert last night in Concord seems to have been a rousing success. Lots of noise, lots of applause and wonderful singing from Il Volo. We are waiting for Elaine who happily attended, to give us the highlights.

1) Twitter, Tweets and Keeks from last night after the concert:

PIERO tweets, “Loved the audience in Concord and now on the road, next concert tomorrow in LA at Gibson Amphitheatre”
GIANLUCA tweets, “On the road with the new Il Volo tour bus.”I’m in my little bed and ready to go to sleep, it was a long and beautiful day, Los Angeles is waiting for us”
IGNAZIO tweets ” While i’m singing they take pictures from my phone” along with a picture of Piero and Gianluca taking a selfie with his phone!

2) Please see below a response from The Vancouver Sun to a complaint about the review of Il Volo’s concert in Vancouver.

Hello,  Thanks for your email on Erika’s review of the Il Volo Concert. You might guess that you are not the only fan who has taken us to task for this review. While I personally would not have chosen to start this particular piece … “Opera is in trouble” I must tell you that I stand by our reviewer’s right, first, to express personal disappointment over what she heard, and secondly, to write about it.

Reviewers always seem to be pleasing some and angering others … She should have referred to their music as operatic pop, you are right. But, that said, I assume that your anger stems primarily from the fact that the reviewer did not enjoy the night as much as you yourself did.

She did, however, give credit where it was due and recognized, for example, the fact that some established entertainers hold Il Volo in high regard and the fact that Boschetto sang a “soaring rendition” of Streisand’s Memory.  We welcome our readers’ feedback and I thank you for taking the time to consider our content and call us up on it.

Best regards,
Managing Editor
The Vancouver Sun

Although the Sun did respond regarding some issues, not all were addressed. We will keep you updated if there is any further response.

We wish Il Volo Love and Luck for tonight’s concert in LA.

Hi Everyone,

Well here we are, the day before the first concert!! We are all so excited to hear the comments from those lucky enough to attend the Vancouver concert. Let us know as soon as you can about all the exciting things that went on!!!

1) Twitters, Tweets and Keeks

Ignazio tweeted last night “Almost ready!!” He also tweeted a picture of himself at the gym. He tweeted late last night, “Just finished rehearsing”
Gianluca tweeted that he was going to the gym. Seems as though, even on tour they’re keeping up with their workouts. Workouts are important to help keep them in shape for a whirlwind tour.
Gianluca tweeted also “Dreams come true if we only wish hard enough, you can have everything in life if you sacrifice” He, Ignazio and Piero feel very strongly about their careers!

2) Check out Team Il volo for a very nice article on Piero. They did Gianluca yesterday, prehaps they will feature Ignazio tomorrow?

We hope everyone going to the concert tomorrow night has a fabulous time. Say hello to “The Boys” for us.
