The boys were greeted with so much love, the Polish public was very warm, and our guys gave them, the maximum, as always.

I’m still trilling after the Saturday concert, so please excuse my very emotional words. The concert was fantastic, magical, pure passion with much laud and enthusiasm from the audience. Our boys started from a beautiful classic aria, “NESSUN DORMA” from Turandot, which was very warm welcomed by all of us. Of “IL MONDO” – pure magic, of course Ignazio was showing off with his high notes and Piero encouraged him to sing even higher.
The Polish fan club prepared shiny sticks to all the fans, we turned them on when “Il Mondo” was performed – the whole audience was a lightning bolt with the colors white, redand green – flags of Italy (red, white, green) and Poland(white and red). Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca were very surprised and happy I think. I was in the front row and I saw their faces very well. Yes, they were happy. 🤗❤️
I’m sorry I don’t remember the whole set list, I felt like in heaven and still can’t really make up my mind. I remember their funny introduction, with little evidence of Polish, but also Ignazio remembered only “Dobry wieczór” (Good Evening) – we teach it during sound check and “Dziekuje” (Thanks) Gian asked how to say good morning in Polish – we said “Dzien dobry” and it really sounds like Ginoble a little. He started as a joke that his surname means good morning in Polish and Ignazio Boschetto invented which means good night 😁 (obviously not)

Our boys were in fantastic shape, they sang like angels, for me they sounded better than on CD. First solo was Ignazio’s “MEMORY”, then “BRIDGE OVER TROUBLE WATER”, performed by Gianluca and “NO PUEDE SER” by Piero. Then again trio and duets “MARIA”, “TORNA A SURRIENTO”(in Italian Version + English) “MY WAY”, “O PAESE D’O SOLE”.
Gian and Piero had the second and third solos “MI MANCHERAI” and “LOVE STORY”.
From the new album they performed “ARRIVEDERCI ROMA”, “A CHI MI DICE” and “MUSICA CHE RESTA”. From old albums they sang and “UN AMORE COSÌ GRANDE”, “SMILE”, “O SOLE MIO”, “VOLARE” – everyone started dancing, singing and approached the scene.
Girls screaming, ok … not just girls … women a little older too and no one sat anymore.
Very long version of the “GRANDE AMORE” for farewell and our beloved Il Volo took off for the next concert in Bulgaria. Of course they said how much love Poland and Polish fans, he promised to come back next year. ❤️❤️❤️
We had short M & G meeting because the boys had very early flight the next day, but together with hugs, kisses and chats during the sound check it was really beautiful experience to be so close to my stars. I made funny caricatures of Il Volo guys and asked them (during the sound check we have only a little more time than M & G) to sign each image. I have signatures, bigger “Thanks” from Gian – he liked his caricature more. Pierowondered “Why am I naked ???”and Igna smiled beautifully and said “Good job” I must admit that I am totally in love and together with my friend we acted like crazy 15 year-olds ….
I can only say that it was the best concert ever. Better than Matera and much better than last year in Poland. Standing ovation almost after each song and faces of Piero, Ignazio and Gian when we shout “BRAVI”, “We love you.”, etc … is priceless.

During one of the concerts in Mexico, exactly in Zacatecas, something very romantic happened, which perhaps not everyone knows about.
A boy, knowing that his girlfriend is a very passionate fan of IL VOLO, has seen fit to buy tickets for the concert, and then take her to Zacatecas.
But the surprises didn’t all end here.
During the concert, while IL VOLO was singing “WE ARE LOVE”, the boy led his beloved in the middle of the aisle (they had no seats ahead) and …
knelt down to make her the marriage proposal !!!
You have understood very well !!! But then, romance still exists. ❤️❤️
Everything was captured by a video made by a photographer present at the concert, who commented:
“I never imagined that I would take pictures of a wedding proposal at a concert, and today I was an accomplice to this incredible moment, during the inaugural concert of the IL VOLO in Zacatecas National Fair. This can only happen in the Romantic City of Mexico.”

Even the security, which stopped them at first, then let them pass, also because Ignazio, Piero and Gianluca understood what was happening and made signs with their arms to let them pass.
At the end of their song, IL VOLO informed all those present that there was a marriage proposal and congratulated the future spouses.
Everything was really natural and very nice. Too bad there were barriers, otherwise I am sure that the boys would have made them go on stage and would have embraced them.
However, this makes us understand that even young people like to be romantic.

Even the newspapers have spoken very well of them and of the concerts.

Il Volo fell in love with thousands of fans during the concert they offered as part of their “Music Tour” tour, with which they celebrated 10 years of their artistic career.
In the Italian, English and Spanish languages, Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble have interpreted, for two hours, twenty themes of Latin American classical music, their successes and the new songs from their album.
As soon as the intensity of the National Auditorium’s lights decreased, the show began. The silhouette of each of the singers was barely glimpsed and the audience, mainly women, started screaming with excitement.
The baritone Gianluca Ginoble, the tenor Ignazio Boschetto and the tenor Piero Barone provoked the euphoria of their Mexican followers, who gathered at the National Auditorium to answer the call of their idols, Il Volo, which after six years of absence is climbed the national scene again and simply fell in love.
The power in the voice of Ginoble, Boschetto and Barone was the perfect pretext for the warm applauses, and regardless of the genre, compliments were shouted, like a strong “I love you Nacho!”, From a man, or the amusing – and already popular – cry of a woman: “Make me a son!”
Piero’s sensuality, Gianluca’s gallantry and total feeling, which Ignazio gives to each of his interpretations, as well as his renewed figure, caused delirium, all the more when they dedicated part of their repertoire to a tribute to one of the greatest performers Mexicans: José José.
Another of the highlights of the night was when the Mariachi appeared, with whom they delighted to the rhythm of “Cielito Lindo”, who made it clear that the clear register of Boschetto and Barone’s voices, and the most serious of Ginoble, reaches harmony with vernacular instruments, which have also generated the absolute emotion of the public.
The trio also made room for hearing their own songs, which reached a monumental chorus. If their mere presence was no longer a matter of madness, euphoria was unleashed at most when every young man invited a girl from the audience to sing directly with them. The face of the three lucky girls, between emotion and disbelief, will remain in everyone’s memory.
Guys, what to say, Mexico has also been conquered, by your talent and your love.
Mexico has not forgotten you, has patiently waited, and has rejoiced with you.

During the Musica tour, Ignazio Boschetto performs two solo pieces.
Today I want to talk to you about “ALMENO TU NELL’UNIVERSO”.
This beautiful song, was written by Bruno Lauzi and Maurizio Fabrizio , good Italian songwriters, and brought to success by Mia Martini. Mia Martini was a very good singer, sister of Loredana Bertè, very close sisters, but diametrically different.
Mia was a very sensitive and even reserved person. Thanks to her beautiful voice and her way of singing in 1973 she began her success at the age of 26. Unfortunately 10 years later she decides to retire from the scene, due to unfounded slander, perhaps the gossips started almost as a joke, but then the joke became heavy, unbearable, everyone said that Mia Martini brought bad luck to everyone and no one wanted to hear her sing any more , and no one engaged her to attend events.
In 1989 she returned to Sanremo with the new song “ALMENO TU NELL’UNIVERSO”, with which she was immediately successful.
Mia Martini’s life is full of ups and downs and unfortunately, on May 12th 1995, her body is found without life. The autopsy will establish that she died from an overdose of medicines, it will never be known if she deliberately took her life.

Very sweet the interpretation of Mia Martini, but I can say that even our excellent Ignazio, has not betrayed the expectations. He didn’t upset the song, maintaining its rhythms and respecting the passion, he only interpreted it in a way more suited to his vocals.
And what about his initial commentary on the song? I read between the lines, a veiled (not very) reproach to those who believe they have the right to judge you, and with a few words to destroy your laboriously built career. (certainly a parallel with certain press and certain judges of Sanremo).
