Bologna, 27 April 2019 – The Fico Central Eataly World Arena(photo) struggles to contain spectators for the presentation of Ricomincio dai tre. Young, very young and less young, they fill the stands enthusiastically, waiting to be able to hear the sweet and thunderous voices of their idols. Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble. They are the three youngsters, from whom, ten years ago, Michele Torpedine, manager of VIPs, set off again.
You can perhaps call it a bet, the one that Torpedine faced when he decided to “take three small singers by the hand”. Who would have said that, at the time of pop, overseas music and digitization, two tenors and a baritone would have broken through the national and world music scene to the point of becoming the first Italian artists to sign a contract with Geffen Records, US major? “These three talents are here for their great friend – began Oscar Farinetti, founder of Eataly – who, in the world of music, worked with great artists like Gino Paoli and discovered talents of the caliber of Andrea Bocelli and Giorgia”.
Michele Torpedine, always in the world of music, has seen us along and perceived, right from the start, the potential of the trio ‘Il Volo’ and it is this that is told in his novel, autobiography, Ricomincio dai tre, published from Pendragon. “The first victory at Sanremo was with Bocelli – Torpedine recounts, digging into his memories – an enormous talent that was not easy to break into the music world because of his handicap. But as soon as I put him on the Zucchero tour, everyone noticed the power he had.”
A manager-mentor, who, after working for thirty years as a drummer for big names like Dalla, Orietta Berti wanted “to give” his knowledge to these three boys, today almost godchildren for him. “One thing that all the young people who want to emerge should know is that talent and application are not enough – Torpedine warns in his autobiography – you have to have your head, otherwise you end up off the road before you even get into gear.” Ricomincio dai tre covers the stages of the career of the manager from Puglia with anecdotes, stories, advice and experiences. At Fico, they discussed this, including laughter and chatter, Torpedine, the three of IL VOLO, Farinetti and Red Ronnie.
When, then, the three opera stars took the microphone to sing (video), the spectators reacted with enthusiasm and the boys dominated the Arena as true gladiators. “You have been fundamental for us – Boschetto emphasizes – it is not easy today to find someone to help you realize the dreams and you did this for us.” Piero Barone then underlines: “We are three privileged boys because we travel the world doing what we like.” At the end, they sang “Grande Amore” that moved and united all the fans who are then rushed to the center of the stage to greet the boys and Torpedine without forgetting to get selfies and autographs with the three of IL VOLO.

It is a sweet love story, with a lot of music and with the participation of our guys, all filmed in the beautiful Verona, which you will see in beautiful images.
In these days, on all the fanpages, photos of Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca have appeared in Capri, the beautiful island that is located in the Neapolitan gulf.
Capri is an island much frequented by VIP’s, and famous for its beautifulFARAGLIONI(rock formations which jut out from the Mediterranean just off the island’s coast).

But why do the boys go to Capri?
Certainly it is a beautiful island and the sea and the weather, these days deserve a vacation ….. but the boys are certainly not there to have fun.
A couple of days ago, to all the Italian members of the official fan club, (I don’t know if, even to foreigners) an e-mail arrived, warning that IL VOLO would record the new video of the new single and wanted to involve also the his fans in the shooting. It was also anticipated that the day of the video shoot would be the 18th and in southern Italy, but did not specify the place.
But after the first videos posted by the boys, everything was clear, the new video would have had the background of Capri.

Il Volo, the group composed by Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble, was last night for a few hours on Capri. One hit and run just before sunset. The trio arrived with a speedboat at the marina, then a walk in the streets of the seaside village before returning on board. The arrival on the island, probably linked to a photo shoot or a video clip, has not gone unnoticed: so many photos and videos taken by the fans.

Actually a small clue had already been given by this photo published a few days ago.
The wording says, “with the great Oscar Farinetti of Eataly”.
For those who don’t know, Oscar Farinetti is an Italian entrepreneur and business manager who founded the Eataly chain. Eataly is a chain of medium and large retail stores specializing in the sale and distribution of Italian food products.
The question could be …… and what does IL VOLO have to do with Eataly and with Paris?
The answer is that April 12 in Paris opens a new store of the Eataly chain, at the La Fayette Gallery.
Wednesday was open by invitation, IL VOLO, delighted all guests with traditional Italian songs.
We could not miss “GRANDE AMORE”.

Gianluca talks about his past as a student, he says that he has always been a little lazy at school and his mother got angry with his father, because he didn’t do his homework or he didn’t study much.
Gianluca says that the goal to be achieved in life is to be happy, he tells the students that after the period of study life opens up and wishes the guys to always be themselves and he wishes them success.
Luca Maggitti, who interviews Gianluca, explains, with a nice episode, that the greatness of the IL VOLO boys is that of being recognizable everywhere. Because so many times there are very famous idols, but only at national level, outside their nation no one knows them, while IL VOLO, is IL VOLO everywhere, in Italy, in Europe, in America, in south-America, in Japan.
Therefore, he asks Gianluca if this world fame has taken away or given him something on a personal level.
Gianluca replies that surely he has had so much from this kind of life, he has been able to travel the world, learn foreign languages, be a better person and be happy because he is doing what he likes to do.
Gianluca believes he is a privileged person.
Then, Luca Maggitti, asks Gianluca, how important is studying for him.
Gianluca replies that the study is very important, but more important still to keep informed, to always maintain a form of culture, reading books, keeping always informed about the news, events, notional studies, but also the study of life events. Never stop learning.
Then Gianluca is asked, what kind of music he listens to and he confirms that he listens to many different types of music and then, as already said, other times, he says he would like to buy a piano and start playing a piano he would like to write songs and also take acting lessons.
Gianluca is asked how important family and territory are to him.
Gianluca says that all his family believed in his talent, but in particular his grandfather, the most important person for him, and recommends that students stay close to their grandparents, who are the greatest treasure of life.
The family is very important for Gianluca, there are no secrets, there is a very close relationship of love.
Even belonging to a territory is very important for Gianluca, he always speaks of his land, he feels proud of his Abruzzi origins and of being a citizen of Montepagano.
