Ciao a tutti!!

Hope everyone had a safe and blessed Easter!  There were many blessings sent forth from Kelly’s post!  🙂

There were several Instagram messages and FaceBook posts from the guys about their upcoming appearance on the fourth episode of “Amici di Maria de Filippi,” which aired on Canale 5 in Italy, on Saturday, April 15, 2017. (Thank you to Lisa Joy for posting it very quickly for all to see!)  This is another talent show in Italy.  This time, the guys were singing “My Way” for two competing male dancers.  It was a trio this time for this song and I thought the addition of Ignazio was incredible.  I loved the little jazzy softness he gave to the song and I always love when he goes for the high notes at the end.  They looked and sounded beautiful as always.

Although I did not dig too deep, I don’t know who won the dance competition?  My one friend said the guy in the white shirt should have won.  Maybe Daniela or Dani can fill us in?  🙂

Although I did not see the same for Gianluca, I thought I’d add this one he sent us to wish us all a Buona Pasqua!  I didn’t think anyone would mind…. 🙂  On his Instagram, he said Erny took the picture – good job Erny!

What happens in Vegas…. well, doesn’t always necessarily STAY in Vegas…. like, what if the guys got stuck there and never came home again?  Ok, you guys in Vegas would be in Il Volo heaven and the rest of us would just HAVE to go out there to see them!

Anyhow, here are some pictures and videos from that fantastic night, from the city of lights!

Piero’s 21st Birthday Project

Hey, Everyone!

We know that Piero is having a birthday pretty soon, and we are starting work on his birthday greeting from The Flight Crew!

We will be making a video for him, and you probably remember the drill, but just in case, here are the guidelines again:

1.) Email us using the “Contact Us” form to let us know that you have a submission for Piero’s 21st Birthday Project.  We will e-mail you back with further instructions.

2.) You may submit a video or picture of yourself and your birthday wish for him.  All videos must be 10-15 seconds in length and silent.  And just a reminder for the younger fans that want to catch his attention…keep in mind that we have a broad audience when shooting your video or taking your picture.  Good luck!

3.) If you do not want to be on camera–video or otherwise–you may submit a written greeting instead.  We aren’t going to ask you to limit yourself to a certain number of words, but please keep in mind that the music will move at a fairly good clip, and depending on how many comments we receive, I might have to put two to three comments on one slide.

4.)  Please submit your greeting by June 15 at the latest to allow time to complete the video, though I would welcome them as soon as possible.

I think that’s it.  If you have any questions, please let one of the board members know.  🙂

Another Birthday Surprise!

Hey Everyone!

Gianluca has a birthday coming up next month, and we would like your help in celebrating it!

I think most of us remember that very sweet and heart-felt Thank-you video he made for all of his fans after his birthday last year.  In it, he specifically mentioned that he had “watched all the videos”, so we thought it would be fun to go that route this year.  Lisa Bhrem has already agreed to help us again–a big “Thank You” in advance to her.  Now here is how you can get involved:

1.) Take a photo or shoot a short video of yourself/friends/group holding a sign wishing Gianluca a happy birthday and telling him you love him.   You may include your name/group name for identification (for our younger participants, please remember to protect your privacy.  Once it’s on the internet, it’s forever.)

*All content must be appropriate for all audiences  (including language on the sign, type of dress, actions etc.)  I know that seems like it goes without saying, but for any younger girls with an idea to try to catch his eye, this is just a gentle reminder. Good luck! 😀 .

*Videos must be silent, between 10 to 15 seconds in length and submitted in an mP4 format.

2.) Using the “Contact Us” form (the link to it is on the left hand side of your screen: “The Flight Crew Board — Contact Us”), send us a note letting us know that you have a submission for Gianluca’s Birthday Project.  We will contact you via email with further instructions.

3.) Deadline for submissions is January 31, 2014.  No submissions will be accepted after that time to allow Lisa time to work on and finish the video.  She is doing this as a favor to us, and she is a busy lady, working full-time and having a busy family life.
