Il Volo triumphs in Zurich: a memorable concert at the Hallenstadion and the announcement of their new 2026-2027 world tour.
The Hallenstadion provided the backdrop for an intense evening where the audience attentively followed a musical journey through opera, pop, and Italian and international songs, presented with elegance and stylistic coherence.
One of the evening’s highlights was the announcement of their new world tour, announced directly from the stage. Il Volo will return to Zurich on October 24, 2027, at 8:00 PM, again at the Hallenstadion, for a new date included in their 2027 tour. Tickets are not yet available, but Tuttoitalia, as official media partner, will provide timely updates on the opening of pre-sales.

From their television origins to the international scene
The story of Il Volo began in 2009 during the program “Ti lascio una canzone,” where the three young artists stood out for their vocal quality and were subsequently professionally supported by manager Michele Torpedine. Their debut album, “Il Volo,” was well received in the United States and entered the Billboard Top Ten, launching a career studded with global tours, prestigious collaborations with artists such as Barbra Streisand and Placido Domingo, a triumph at the Sanremo Music Festival, and international recognition such as the Marcel Besançon Award at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest.
An ever-evolving musical identity
Over the years, the trio has developed an artistic vision that blends Italian opera tradition with elements of contemporary pop. From projects dedicated to the Three Tenors to tributes to Ennio Morricone, to more recent productions such as Ad Astra International Edition and the single “Tra le onde,” Il Volo continues to evolve without straying from its distinctive style.
The new world tour and the return to Zurich
Yesterday’s concert offered a preview of the atmosphere and artistic direction of the announced tour. The date of October 24, 2027 in Zurich will be the next official date with the Swiss public and is part of a particularly extensive tour spanning Europe, the United States, and Latin America.
At the Zurich concert there was also a very special fan, little Gabriele with his mother Michelle, who came to see his father Ignazio for the first time.❤️💙

December 14 Lisbon
The concert was held at the Meo Arena.
But the next concert is in Portugal, so from Spain to Switzerland and then back through Portugal, then Greece and back to Spain. How do they do it???? In fact, they themselves posted a photo showing them flying on a small private plane.
In the meantime, 15 outdoor concerts have been announced in Italy this summer and my Brescia has also been confirmed and of course I already have the ticket, second row!!
More European concert dates have been announced for 2027……wow guys, what a tour de force you’re in for!!
Another piece of news is that on December 13th here in Italy on Canale 5 the first concert of Mantua 2025 was re-broadcast and for the next two Saturdays we will see the second and third TUTTI PER UNO concerts held in Mantua this year, so a good television binge of Il Volo!!
But the beauty is that wherever you go, you’re eagerly awaited and cheered, and this fills all of us who’ve always followed you with pride, as well as the new fans just getting to know you.

The Il Volo tour proceeds at a very fast pace, but full of many emotions and many people who show truly incredible affection towards Ignazio, Gianluca and Piero.

After these two other successful concerts on European soil, Il Volo left Europe for a country in the Middle East, and precisely for the United Arab Emirates.

But there is news that will make the next Paris event even more special: the October 31st concert will be broadcast live simultaneously on Radio Italia (in Italy), in the United Kingdom on London ONE Radio and in New York with ICN Radio marking a historic moment for the band and its fans from all over the world.
The Paris concert: a global event live on radio
The most famous Italian trio in the world, composed of Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble, will give fans a unique experience, not only to those present in the French capital, but also to those who are kilometers away. The success of the European tour therefore continues with a stop in the Middle East too. It seems that the success for Il Volo is a well-established component and how could it be otherwise?
They have wonderful voices, they are beautiful people with a lot of charisma and humility, so they are equipped with essential ingredients for a successful world tour.
This interview has been published relating to the Rigopiano tragedy of January 2017, the avalanche which, as you will remember, swept away a place of stay managed by Roberto Del Rosso, a friend of Gianluca Ginoble and where Gianluca should have been in that period.

E POI IL SILENZIO (AND THEN THE SILENCE)
MAN = It is a moment that defines the course of a life, of multiple lives. What is unacceptable, however, is realizing how much this boulder can sometimes be moved by infinitesimal forces.
The choice of a departure date of the place where you sit and wait, or the place to park the car, the choice between going out or staying where you are, leaving a moment earlier or later, granting a shift change to a colleague or No. Small things, however insignificant, have the power to generate catastrophic consequences and can make the difference between living or dying. This is why the idea of “destiny” fascinates us and terrifies us at the same time.
GIANLUCA= So, it was a bit of a traumatic experience for me, especially for the relationship I had with Roberto.
I met him in 2015 immediately after our victory at the Sanremo Festival, thanks to some friends who advised me to go there for a few days of relaxation.
MAN= Gianluca Ginoble is one of the members of the group IL VOLO, the trio of very young tenors of which he joined when he was just 14 years old and still living with his parents in Montepagano, a village on the hill above Roseto degli Abruzzi. After that first stay in February 2015, for Gianluca Rigopiano it had become the place of his heart, where he could take refuge when he needed to unplug and be alone for a while and in January 2017 he intended to return again. The day he had chosen was Tuesday 17th, he wanted to relax and also take a look at the renovation project of his new house that Roberto Del Rosso was working on, but as we know, it had been snowing in Abruzzo for days.
GIANLUCA= Two days before, Roberto and I spoke on the phone to organize ourselves. There was my father next to me and Roberto in a very kind and generous way, despite everything he had offered to come and get me and my father said it wasn’t possible because the situation was dangerous, he was worried because the storm had also reached the sea in Roseto degli Abruzzi. We were locked in the house and that wasn’t the case. Maybe my father had sensed the danger and he insisted so much, saying that it wasn’t possible, that I couldn’t go in these conditions.
Initially I also insisted by saying: “But what can happen? I’ll go there for a few days, relax.”
My father even raised his voice, well, he had realized the situation, I don’t know, but anyway he stopped me. I followed his advice by saying that maybe I would return at another time, and thus the phone call with Roberto ended.
MAN= On Thursday 19 January, Gianluca woke up and heard the news of the avalanche and then saw the images of the rescue caravan and the first operators among fallen trees and rubble of the hotel rising in the snow.
GIANLUCA= At that moment when I saw that structure completely destroyed by the avalanche, my blood ran cold, it felt like I was in a movie, as if it wasn’t real, a bad dream. You know there is a part of me that wanted to remove this story a little, partly because of the relationship I had with Roberto because he was a friend and then because that place was a corner of paradise and I carry it in my heart. I probably subconsciously tried to remove the memory, because those images were so strong. Certainly, thinking of those people, and imagining that maybe I could have been there too and that I had escaped death.
Il Volo was a guest on the television show Le Iene.
The notice of their participation was communicated to us by Piero, Gianluca and Ignazio themselves in this way:

The episode begins with Capolavoro and Max Angioni (the one with the black bob hair) together with two collaborators (two other Iene) they start singing in Gianluca’s place…….but then they arrive!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
VERONICA= How wonderful, or rather what a masterpiece, because this was Masterpiece and they are Il Volo! (applause)
Welcome guys, what an honor to have you here, I’m really mortified for these three scoundrels who every time someone arrives they have to get in the way……

Today was an unforgettable moment, not for the experience but for the intensity. The music is a masterpiece – with Il Volo in the Le Iene studios.
Meanwhile, the list of concerts both in Italy and abroad continues to increase. A concert in Switzerland has recently been added.
And then PARIS, and I think it’s the first time in Paris.
While in the Arena in Verona the fourth evening was added on May 13th and then in Rome at the prestigious Baths of Caracalla on June 8th. 🥰🥰
As many of you will know, in recent days our Piero also had time to register for the Bologna half marathon, here he is registering and handing over his bib.
PIERO= I now live here, 2/3 of Il Volo are here (Bologna). It’s a beautiful city.
The last marathon I did was in New York and then I took a bit of a break because I was on tour with the guys, and now we’re off to Japan again, so this is just pre-tour training.
I started just as a matter of breath, to increase resistance, then, when you are ambitious and set a goal, you always try to achieve it, and running is perhaps the most intimate moment for each of us, us with ourselves.

Ignazio: MY HEART WILL GO ON (Ignazio’s presentation is very funny)
(at first he addresses someone in the audience) I didn’t understand what you said, but that’s fine anyway. So there’s one scene in particular from this movie (Titanic), when they’re in the car and leave all their fingerprints everywhere……I was 6 years old when I saw it for the first time and so it really stuck with me (laughter ) and I said: “One day I’ll sing it.”
But they put this song as the soundtrack to when Rose gets like this (he opens his arms wide) and says: “Jack I’ll throw myself”…….no, no I’ll throw you!! (laughs) 😁😁😁 MY HEART WILL GO ON.
I would say that the European tour got off to a great start, not only because there was a wonderful response from the public, but also because, despite the numerous commitments before the tour, I see Piero, Gianluca and Ignazio really relaxed and happy. It’s true that they love this “job” but it’s also true that having an enthusiastic audience that loves you…is priceless!!

IL VOLO with their show “Tutti per uno” will overwhelm the audience at the Arcimboldi Theater in Milan for six dates: 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 and 9 September!
It is the first time that Il Volo performs in a theater in Italy, thus establishing a special bond with the audience in a more intimate atmosphere. “Tutti per uno”, shown for the first time in June at the Verona Arena and broadcast on Canale 5, winning the prime time share, is a show that creates a magical harmony, transporting viewers on an unforgettable journey.

OUR REVIEW
When you say “know how to sing” you really can’t help but say “Il Volo”.
Three young artists who overwhelm the audience with vocals that are absolutely different from each other but of a disarming quality.
A mastery of the stage that is intertwined with a vocal and expressive ability of true Big that overwhelms the audience in a show lasting over two hours.
This new “Tutti per Uno” format highlights the musical tastes of the three and gives us a glimpse of the history of incredible international music.
PIERO, a lyrical range and technical precision that make him ready to take on great roles in Italian melodrama. In particular, he leaves us speechless with his interpretation of “Mamma, il vino è generous”, an aria taken from Pietro Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana. (I’m sorry for those who dispute this simply because of archaic mental prototypes).
IGNAZIO, or “the voice”. Disarming vocal extension with a tightness even in the high notes that leaves you speechless. The star of the stage with his jokes and his irony who also doesn’t fail to make us cry with a splendid reinterpretation of “At least you in the universe” by Mia Martini.
GIANLUCA, always fascinating (but since super in love also very tender) takes us into the world of the Beatles, of the legendary Elvis Presley without leaving out precious jewels of Italian song such as “La cura” by Battiato of which he does an intense and highly emotional revisitation with a voice that enchants you from the first notes also for its truly enveloping timbre.
Great music, great voices, great stage performance… a show to absolutely see.
The only sadness: very few young people in the audience and this must make us reflect a lot on the fact that it is necessary to “educate” the new generations about good music by giving them the critical ability to distinguish the difference between real music, real artists and pseudo artists.
And finally a truly truthful review, which leaves nothing to chance.
The writer does not report “hearsay”, she was present at the concert and was impressed in a very positive sense. ☺
The comments on the voices and personalities of Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca are very beautiful and spot on.
I had the impression, reading this review, that the writer did not have any restrictions or impediments to write what she saw at full speed.
I was very happy, even elated, it’s been a long time since we read such a beautiful and accurate review.
In recent days, after the concerts in Milan, there have been many positive comments and even good reviews, but this is certainly the best.
There was another nice review, but in that one, I had the impression that whoever wrote it, while paying many compliments to the boys, justified their success because they use “popular” songs that aim for the heart and harmonies to very long times……..well, I don’t agree, being successful in Italy with the repertoire that Il Volo presents is not at all easy, in fact it isn’t easy at all because here, everything that it is part of our tradition is considered old, out of fashion. And what about their harmonies…. they are unbeatable and I challenge our other Italian singers to do similar ones.
The final reflection of the article DEJAVU is very beautiful, it’s true, our young people are not used to listening to beautiful songs even by recent song writers, if they don’t have rap or urban rhythms, in short rhythms that are successful now here in Italy.
Our young people don’t listen to Il Volo at all, also due to the denigrating campaign that Il Volo has had from the press which has always defined them as “old”.
But people are tired of the new rhythms, which have also brought rudeness, vulgarity and inelegance.
Something is changing and our favorites are getting more and more support and this makes me really happy.
In the meantime, you will think that Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca will be deservedly resting, after 6 concerts and in view of the concert in Zurich on the 17th………. this is not really the case.
Three days after the concerts in Milan, Gianluca gave a performance, singing Hallelujah alone during a fund-raising square party in Ascoli Piceno.
“Just over a month after the concert with Il Volo in Piazza del Popolo, I find myself here in this wonderful city for a special appointment with Dardust. Please follow us, there will be lots of guests.”

This event is organized by Dardust (he is a pianist, as well as an excellent modern composer and producer well known in Italy). It is a memorial in memory of a boy who died of leukemia and the proceeds will go to AIL, the Italian Leukemia Association.
In his performance, Gianluca is accompanied on the piano by Dardust (it’s a stage name, in reality his name is Dario Faini).

Gianluca with Dardust and Saturnino . On the fifth evening in Milan, Saturnino performed as a guitarist, accompanying Ignazio in the song “You Make Me Feel”.
