Notte Magica! The Euro Tour Begins! April 24, 2017 Zurich, Switzerland!

Ciao a tutti!

First off, I’d like to wish all of the “Administrative Professionals” in the United States and other parts of the world that recognize “Admin’s Week/Day” – including us on this site, a heartfelt thank you for “all that you do!”  This also includes Barbara Vitali, although technically “Road Manager,” she has the most important administrative position there is to our guys, making sure their schedules and calendars are always on track, among many other things, I’m sure!  (ever notice how the admins get a whole week and the bosses just one day?  We are clearly more important!) 🙂  Ok, on with the show!  ♥

While the United States is still a bit starstruck with the guys having been here for the month of March, the magic has now moved on to the starry, night skies of Europe, beginning with Zurich, Switzerland!  A lovely picture posted by Il Volo Music FaceBook page…Zurich

The guys, after close to a three-week rest, lit up the night and the stage once again, to commence their European tour.  Their voices impeccable; their dress, varied blue/gray suits and ties.  Their eyes bright and shiny, and everything as perfect as always.  They once again teamed up with Maestro Diego Basso, who accompanied them on most of their USA tour last year, as well as several of their other performances.  I’m sure Joseph Modica is missing the guys right now!  🙂

Although not travelling to the Netherlands, they will be close to them while in Brussels, Belgium and Düsseldorf, Germany.  Like the famous painting of Van Gogh, “Oh Starry Night…,”  Ilvolover’s minds will be spinning like the stars in the picture, starry nightafter having seen them.  Especially those that will be able to meet them in person this time.  There were about 24 lucky persons that had meet/greets for the Zurich concert.  Here is the link to the OMGVIP site!  https://www.omgvip.com/il-volo-april-24-2017/  Look at those happy and smiling faces!  🙂

Ciao a tutti!!

Hope everyone had a safe and blessed Easter!  There were many blessings sent forth from Kelly’s post!  🙂

There were several Instagram messages and FaceBook posts from the guys about their upcoming appearance on the fourth episode of “Amici di Maria de Filippi,” which aired on Canale 5 in Italy, on Saturday, April 15, 2017. (Thank you to Lisa Joy for posting it very quickly for all to see!)  This is another talent show in Italy.  This time, the guys were singing “My Way” for two competing male dancers.  It was a trio this time for this song and I thought the addition of Ignazio was incredible.  I loved the little jazzy softness he gave to the song and I always love when he goes for the high notes at the end.  They looked and sounded beautiful as always.

Although I did not dig too deep, I don’t know who won the dance competition?  My one friend said the guy in the white shirt should have won.  Maybe Daniela or Dani can fill us in?  🙂

I can’t believe this.  Just the other day, I was thinking about Il Volo appearing on Carpool Karaoke (the one in the U.S. hosted by James Corden).  Who knew that Italy is starting their own rendition of Carpool Karaoke hosted by Jake La Furia.  Guess who the first guest will be?  Well, our Il Volo, of course!!

If you have never seen Carpool Karaoke, I highly recommend it.  You Tube it, Netflix it, Google it…whichever way you can find it.  It is so much fun.  I know I’m hooked.

SUMMARY

“Piero says they are excited to bring the Magic Night on May 23 at THE ROYAL ALBERT HALL which is the temple of music.
He asked how outweigh the anxiety before a concert and Piero replies that exceed thinking about all the people who came to hear their voices.
We talk about the Tribute to the Three Tenors  that are performed   when the boys were not yet born and the great thing is that Piero , Gianluca and Ignazio are young and then carry out the project also affecting younger age groups.
Piero does not deny that in the beginning as a group have also had discussions, but now are finding the meeting point.
 He says the classical repertoire is a passion that have all three and the Americans when talk about bel canto, refer to classical music.
Piero says that at first it was risky for them this kind of repertoire, but acquiring security have realized that with the commitment of the study everything becomes more manageable, also points out that it is the only way to bring young people, in fact now in Italy in the talent show they have included pop-opera category and this is a way to encourage young people in this direction.

Il Volo is on the move again, this time to Bologna!  They are doing a photo shoot and they were also at Audi Zentrum Bologna to retrieve their tour cars.  By the looks of the writing on the side of the cars, Audi Zentrum is the official Il Volo car for the Italian/European Notte Magica Tour.  Enjoy!

What happens in Vegas…. well, doesn’t always necessarily STAY in Vegas…. like, what if the guys got stuck there and never came home again?  Ok, you guys in Vegas would be in Il Volo heaven and the rest of us would just HAVE to go out there to see them!
