LUCA MAGGITTI INTERVIEWS GIANLUCA GINOBLE by Daniela

A pleasant interview with Gianluca Ginoble, made by the journalist: Luca Maggitti.

The occasion was the ABBA Immobiliare event, for the presentation of their construction project LUXURY ESTATE which will be carried out in Roseto degli Abruzzi.

LUCA 01

A nice dinner on a summer evening with a touch of rain. The event was cheered by some guests, including our Gianluca.

The video begins with the performance of a good violinist with CON TE PARTIRÒ (Time to Say Goodbye) performed among the tables of the guests.

I translate for you.

LM = On stage with me, the winner of Sanremo 2015 with Il Volo: Gianluca Ginoble.

GG = Good evening

LM = These drops (drizzle), remind me of a passage from a book that says that Mexican nobles love to sleep outdoors with the drops of water that wet their sheets in the summer.

GG = The perfect soundtrack. The sound of nature.

LM = Singing in the rain.

GG = Singing in the rain. Wet evening, lucky evening (it’s an old Italian saying).

LUCA 02

LM = You are truly an international artist, you have been on exceptional stages. A memory … when I saw you taking a selfie with Pope Francis in Panama, remind me how many there were, how many you were.

GG = Maybe it was one of the best experiences ….. but you know that I don’t like to always talk about myself. This is a special evening and first of all I want to greet everyone, even ABBA Immobiliare and all of you, I am really happy and honored to be here, and thanks for the affection you have shown me also in these last weeks where we have had the opportunity to be together.

LM = But they want to hear about you.

GG = Yes, of course, let’s say that during my artistic career, it is now 11 years that I “fly” with my colleagues.

LM = You have been on a world tour for 11 years without stopping, COVID has stopped you, otherwise you would be doing the eleventh year of touring.

GG = Unfortunately, Covid has stopped everyone, there is no alternative and in any case health is the most important thing.
Surely one of the most beautiful experiences was to sing for the Pope, one meter from Pope Francis, a Ave Maria Mater Misericordiae written especially for us. There were thousands of young people, it was WYD.

LM =Eight hundred thousand young people?

GG = You added three hundred thousand more …..

LM = But do you realize how many young people ….. and then you go there and say “Francis, let’s take a selfie?”

GG = It was nice, because the Pope is always very helpful, we had the opportunity to meet him also during the private audience, and that day we said “Can we take a selfie like young people do?” And he said “Sure.”

LUCA 03

LM = Then I have an Argentine national volleyball guest and I keep you here, as you also speak Spanish and I don’t.

GG = Okay.

LM = You also sang for two Presidents of the Italian Republic, in the Senate there was Napolitano and in Trieste, for the unification of Italy there was Mattarella. Even in those cases, I imagine, a great satisfaction.

GG = Especially in the Senate I was very excited, I was 18/19 and it was something surreal, like the beginning of our career, from school desks, to travels around the world.

It was an honor for us, Napolitano, Grasso (President and Prime Minister), he was very prestigious, one of the things I will never forget.

LM = Another thing I remember, at least it struck me a lot and maybe it is something passed over in silence, when you went to do a sort of “Band Aid”, years later for Haiti, if I’m not mistaken, and you were invited by Quincy Jones himself. Quincy Jones isn’t recognized by many, but he produced Michael Jackson, he produced Thriller.

You were very young, and you had this man who, from the videos, hugged you …..

LUCA 04

GG = There are great things very appreciated abroad, of our country, and they are good food and this type of music, which has its own light and illuminates the world for decades, also brought by Pavarotti and Bocelli. Thanks to this, we have attracted the attention of the great boss of international music like Quincy Jones, because we do nothing but bring, with our voices, the name of our music, of our country.

LM = It struck me a lot, even the fact that the former Roseto basketball coach, when he was in Atlanta, called me and said, “Is that boy really from Roseto?”.  And then he came to greet you at meet & greet and he wrote me, “This is the music that everyone loves in the world.” and he is a Croatian.

LUCA 05

(Atlanta 2016, Gianluca , Piero Ignazio and Neven Spahija, the Roseto coach)

The beautiful thing about Il Volo, I have always said, as a simple journalist, you are Il Volo in Japan, Il Volo in America …… that is … Vasco Rossi (a very famous pop singer in Italy) it is Vasco Rossi in Italy, but in France (France taken as an example of a neighboring country), no offense, he is nobody ….. you are Il Volo in the world, and this is an incredible thing.

When you go to South America they give the news on the national news. For you, who are always kind it seems normal, but sharing this with you, let me say to all: let’s do another round of applause !!

There is also another succulent anecdote, when you went with Bruno Vespa in New York and you met Woody Allen and you explain to him that you live in Montepagano, taking the wine route. Tell us.

GG = I sometimes think about it and it makes me laugh.

LM = Your spontaneity makes you do everything.

GG = Sicily is certainly much better known than Abruzzo, this is the reality. We were having dinner with Woody Allen and he asked us where we come from. The other two replied from Sicily and he said he had seen it several times, then I say from Abruzzo, he did not know where it was, then I add, near Rome, and then I say, “Do you know Montepulciano d’Abruzzo wine?” and he said, “Yes, great wine, I like it very much”. You understand, I had to go around through the wine to explain where Abruzzo is, because unfortunately he didn’t know it, but through the wine he understood.

LUCA 06

LM = Yes, for many foreign people, Abruzzo is close to Rome, even if in fact it is not that close for us, indeed it is far from Rome, but to explain it is easier this way.

GG = In addition, the places of the Abruzzo mountains are more famous than those of the sea. But we have beautiful beaches here and there are people like you (Abba Immobiliare) who are investing in the territory of Roseto degli Abruzzi, which is a jewel and has nothing to envy from other beaches.

LM= Last thing I want to tell you, something that happened to me and your dad, Ercole. One day I was here at the Liberty having a coffee and I see four women who speak English. They were four of Gianluca admirers from Connecticut, Texas, Florida, and I would say Louisiana or Georgia, who had come here, had hired a driver, an interpreter, and wanted to see the places where Gianluca had grown up. If I hadn’t witnessed this, I wouldn’t have believed it. They asked me, “Do you really know Gianluca?” And I called Ercole and told him that I had seen women who were almost crying for Gianluca.

LUCA 07

GG = Do you realize?

LM = The Texan woman, (Deborah, they are talking about you!) showed me the photo of the car with the personalized IL VOLO license plate, because there, paying for it is possible (in Italy it is not possible) and told me, “I am cured of depression, after the death of my husband, listening to the music of Il Volo” and hugged you and never left you. They came from America to see your house, then, luckily you were there, but for them, it was enough to see Gianluca’s house in Montepagano. What do you think of this?

LUCA 08

GG = Sometimes I can hardly believe it, how life can radically change, however  I was a child who dreamed of singing, but I never imagined that my life could change like this and get to the other side of the world and excite and also to heal people ….. the power of music, and it’s something that still excites me.

LM = In 2009, Massimo Ranieri (famous Italian singer) comes here to sing and the mayor tells me, I bring Gianluca to Ranieri and introduce him to him. You know him, and you tell him, “You will see that I will become a good singer.”

GG = But…… I can’t have said that.

LM = Then you also took the photo with your cell phone.

LUCA 09

GG = It was 2007 and then in 2015 we sang together on RAI1 QUANDO L’AMORE DIVENTA POESIA and he showed that old photo on TV.

LM = What effect did it have on you?

GG = This shows that over the years anything can happen, as a child I came to see a singer in concert and a few years later, I sing on TV with him.

GG = Luca, but you know that I don’t like to talk only about me.

LM = But you are the star. In 2007, the first memory I have of you, at the age of 12, you go to sing twp songs for a poetry award at the Pia Marta oratory school and you sing IL MARE CALMO DELLA SERA, a very difficult piece.

GG = I remember, I was a little anomalous, a 12 year old boy singing Bocelli, my friends listened to something else. I also listened to other groups, but also classical music, so the children of my age saw me as a “different” child.

LM = And I remember, that this 12 year old is doing this very difficult song and in the end we all stood up.

GG = Then I still had the young voice, so it was easier to get to the high notes.

LM = It was an exceptional ride and it is still at the beginning because you are very young.

GG = I hope so, I’ve always enjoyed living with music.

LM = Last thing, you were international stars, but you missed Italy, first time in Sanremo and immediately victory, what effect did it have on you?

(Sanremo first night, how much emotion !!!)

GG = In fact we were more known and appreciated in other countries than at home, it was a sort of revenge, to show that we had a great desire to do and to be recognized in our country after years abroad, and for us to win Sanremo it was the most important thing, it gave us the real fame in Italy, that of being recognized on the street. But I must say that I am really happy and I hope to continue flying with my colleagues for many more years.

LM = The hope is also that you will always remain so available, ladies and gentlemen: GIANLUCA GINOBLE.

Gianluca Ginoble with Luca Maggitti.

This photo is published on Luca Maggitti’s Facebook page with this dedication:

If I can express a wish to friends, for 2019, it is to have the humility of Gianluca: an international star who – since I have known him … and I have known him since he was 12 years old and he was nobody – has never been haughty.

On the other hand, I know people who are haughty and don’t even have a shred of talent.

Bravo, Gianlù!

LUCA 11

Did you like this interview?

Really a nice chat between friends who respect each other.

And you, Gianluca, always kind and helpful, we really like this aspect of your character. 😘

IL VOLO AND THE NEW SANCTUARIES by Daniela

A post published by Maura Pucci made me remember this beautiful feat, made by four very tough women.

Unusual and … amazing aspects of Il Volo’s popularity.

THE NEW SANCTUARIES

We are in 2015.

Four American ladies, from different States, who met on social networks, animated by a great passion for IL VOLO and enthusiastic about the recent victory of the beloved group in Sanremo, decide to join together to undertake a trip to Italy.

Some new Il Volo fans might think: It’s not new! At their concerts in Verona and Taormina there are many fans from abroad and in particular Americans.

It’s true.

Today the Arena of Verona and the ancient theater of Taormina are places of great appeal for the fans of Il Volo from all over the world, who arrive there in droves, both to attend a concert in scenarios such as only Italy can offer, and to meet the virtual friends, frequented on Facebook.

SANCTUARIES 01

But in the spring of 2015 things were still not exactly like that. And the four ladies embark on an Atlantic flight, for the ONLY purpose of visiting the places of residence of Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca, with the same spirit with which the romantic young people of Northern Europe, three or four centuries ago, left for the Grand Tour at vault of Italy, to be satisfied with beauty and culture, but at the same time with the same religiosity of those who want to embark on the journey of Santiago de Compostela.

Because, let’s face it, when it comes to doing this, it means that the three characters have already risen to the glory of the altars and that their places of life have become three new Sanctuaries, pilgrimage destinations …

Montepagano, Marsala and Naro, three small towns in the Italian province have become places of international resonance.

SANCTUARIES 02

Okay, I just wanted to joke around.

But there are still many fans, especially Italian, but also foreigners, who go, or dream of going to Montepagano, favored by its proximity to Rome. And some of them even went as far as Naro.

Unfortunately, after five years, the sanctuary of Marsala today is not very frequent because S. Ignazio moved to Bologna.😂😂

When I read the news of this trip in 2015, I fully understood the attractive power of these extraordinary and unique guys.

Maura

SANCTUARIES 03

That trip, was undertaken by Deborah Georgini Beaupre, Joan Brenin, Madeline Vitella and Maria Lagostini Leps.

In Italy, it was an event, it had never been heard that fans came to get to know the countries of their favorites. Also Sanremo had just ended with the victory and therefore, the local newspapers talked about this trip, here are the articles.

FROM AMERICA TO ROSETO, TO SEE THE PLACES OF GIANLUCA GINOBLE

(I translate for you.)

Saturday, May 16, 2015

“I crossed the Atlantic Ocean to see you” is film stuff. Indeed, no?

Because four American ladies have been stronger than exaggerated idioms, making something that even in the best dreams come true: they came from the United States of America to Roseto just to see the places where Gianluca Ginoble, a member of Il Volo, grew up, then headed straight to Sicily and do the same in the native places of Piero Barone and Ignazio Boschetto.

SANCTUARIES 04

The super fans are Maria Agostini Leps from Pennsylvania, Joan Brenin from Florida, Madeline Vitella from New Jersey and Deborah Georgini Beaupre from Texas, who say: “We met on Facebook in 2014, thanks to an article written by Maria after a concert by Il Volo. Having the same passion, we decided to meet and organize this trip to Italy, to see the places of our three darlings. It was enough for us to have the photo all together with the sign of the name of the three cities, but today a dream has come true.”

The dream was to meet Gianluca Ginoble and it became reality again thanks to Facebook, given that Maria wrote to Ercole, the father of the singer, saying of their presence in Roseto.

SANCTUARIES 05

And since fate sometimes puts a good word on it, chance has meant that Gianluca was in Roseto in these days, before leaving again for the artistic and promotional commitments of Il Volo.

So, at five in the evening, on the Roseto seafront, the meeting of a thousand hugs and smiles, with selfies, dedications on records and photos.

Deborah shows a photo of the license plate of her car in Texas: “IL VOLO”, saying that after the death of her husband the songs of the group gave her strength.

SANCTUARIES 06

Maria confesses that she returned to Italy after 50 years (she left at 9) for this. All four have seen many Il Volo concerts and love the three singers.

Gianluca Ginoble says: “It is such a great thing that I can only thank these splendid ladies, because in the face of such demonstrations of affection there is the risk of getting your head up.” (feeling overly important)

FROM AMERICA TO MARSALA, IN THE LAND OF IGNAZIO BOSCHETTO

(I translate the most interesting parts for you.)

SANCTUARIES 07

SANCTUARIES 08

Comune di Marsala Article – Click Here

They came from the USA to make their dream come true: to visit the places where the members of Il Volo, were born and raised.

In Marsala, in the city of Ignazio Boschetto, the first stop of the four American ladies was the visit to the representative office of the municipal administration which appointed the singer Ignazio “ambassador of Marsala in the world”.

The American ladies will leave tomorrow for Naro, the birthplace of Piero Barone; while in recent days they had already visited Roseto degli Abruzzi, the land of Gianluca Ginoble.

He, Piero and ours Ignazio, meanwhile, are already in Austria to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, where Il Volo is finalist by right with the winning song of Sanremo “Grande Amore”.

FROM AMERICA TO NARO, ON THE TRAIL OF PIERO BARONE FROM IL VOLO

SANCTUARIES 09

SANCTUARIES 10

The last stop on the Italian – Sicilian journey was Naro, the city of Piero Barone. Here too the reception of the girls from “Il Volo Naro Fan Club” was warm.

In the town hall the solemn ceremony with the mayor Lillo Cremona, the vice-mayor Lidia Mirabile and the mother of Piero, Eleonora Ognibene. Then a tour to discover the baroque of Naro and its monuments: the Castle, the old C athedral.

The Sicilian tour will end with a visit to the city of Agrigento and then to Taormina. Then the return to Rome for the US.

SANCTUARIES 11

What women!

Admirable. They were the first, but then many others came.

I don’t think I would have had their courage, but I’m happy that they got what they wanted.

I bet that many of us would like to make this nice trip, and maybe be so lucky to be able to meet Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca ……… but sometimes dreams come true!

GIANLUCA NEW APPEAL – IL VOLO WORLD TOUR: SAN JOSÉ and SAN RAFAEL by Daniela

Unfortunately Covid19 is infecting many people around the world.

The situation here in Italy is very serious. All of Italy has stopped. Everything closed, schools, churches, gyms, cinemas, theaters, museums, airports, stations, many shops, not necessary. From today, all shops except for food (always well supplied) and pharmacies will probably be closed.

Unfortunately, it seems that the seriousness of the situation is not well understood by young people, who continue to go out in the evening. For this reason Gianluca made an explicit appeal to the young people in his area.

I translate for you.

Hello everyone, I too am part of this initiative I HELP ROSETO. It is a situation that we all know, truly dramatic, that affects all of us, and therefore, I recommend YOU MUST STAY HOME. It is a message that I want to send above all to my peers, because it must start with us, the sense of belonging, the community, take care of ourselves, but in particular of the people who are close to us and above all of the elderly.

So please, let’s be responsible, WE STAY HOME, surely there will be many things that we will rediscover, be with the family, give priorities, try to have new hobbies, new passions. There is certainly a lot to do at home, so please, STAY HOME.

I hug you tightly, this too will pass, this moment will also pass.

Gianluca 01

Thanks Gianluca, there are no words, but only to reflect, for the good of all.

The SAN JOSÉ concert was another success, very few videos and photos.

Mix of songs

IL MONDO

VOLARE

Final greetings

Thank you San José for last night. We are spending amazing days here in the U.S.! Two more shows to go before to come back in our amazing country, facing a difficult time…

But unfortunately, due to recent developments in the spread of viruses, the MARIN CENTER of San Rafael, where Il Volo was to perform tonight, is closed, and therefore the concert is canceled.

Gianluca 03

I am very sorry, for all those who had bought tickets, in time, to be able to attend an evening of entertainment and good music.

Unfortunately, situations are evolving quickly and action must be taken just as quickly.

Only two last concerts are missing and I hope with all my heart that they can be done, but without any risk.

I will conclude by translating this message from the Pope.

A hug from Daniela.

Gianluca 04

“Before you fall asleep tonight, think about when we will return to the street.
When we hug each other again, when, shopping together, it will seem like a party.

Let’s think about when the coffees will return to the bar, the small talk, the photos close to each other. Let’s think about when it will all be a memory, and normalcy will seem an unexpected and beautiful gift.

We will love everything that has so far seemed futile to us.
Every second will be precious.
Swim at the sea, the sun until late, toasts, laughter.
We will go back to laughing together.

Strength and courage!
See you soon.”

INTERVIEWS BY LUCA MAGGITTI by Daniela

Luca Maggitti is a good journalist who lives in Roseto degli Abruzzi. In these days of early August, he interviewed, for EMOZIONI MUSICA FESTIVAL, Gianluca Ginoble, Michele Torpedine and also Marino Bartoletti.

Of these three interventions, I will translate the most interesting moments.

Let’s start with GIANLUCA.

After the various initial pleasantries, where Luca Maggitti asks Gianluca the importance of his Abruzzo and thanks him for always bringing the knowledge of his land up high in the world, they remember together the first meeting with Massimo Ranieri, which took place in Roseto, again before Gianluca became part of IL VOLO.

Interviews 01

Luca asks Gianluca if Massimo Ranieri is an example for his life, as he is a singer, actor and director, and that’s what Gian answers.

GG= Surely Massimo Ranieri is a great example, he is a complete artist, but I, as you know, am a big fan of American music, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and they too were great actors.

I am closer to the type of music, but also to the type of acting, more American, but Massimo Ranieri, has always been an artist that I greatly admired.

Towards the end of the interview, Maggitti asks Gianluca the plans for the future of IL VOLO.

Gianluca replies that they are celebrating their 10-year career, with a tour that started in Japan and will end in the US, and the first date will be at Radio City Music Hall in New York, for the third time.

Interviews 02

And now let’s continue with the interesting parts of the interview with Michele Torpedine.

Maggitti asks Michele, why every year, he comes for a week in Roseto, what he likes about this place, since he could go anywhere, but he chooses to come here.

Michele answers that Roseto is his second city, perhaps more than the first, because in Bologna he lead a retired life, he live in a reserved manner. Here he has many friends, beyond the relationship with Gianluca, everyone loves him here, and for him that’s important.

Interviews 03

Maggitti shows the book RICOMINCIO DAI TRE and asks Torpedine for an explanation of his phrase “I love music, but not the world of music.”

Michele explains that there is a lot of ingratitude in the musical world and his book served to explain this fact.

Maggitti congratulates Michele, for his cover photo, of the book, confirming that it is a shot made by Gianluca.

Interviews 04

Michele admits that Gianluca is very good with the camera and confirms that the photos that Torpedine uses on his Facebook page are made by Gianluca.

Maggitti asks how important the figure of the manager is. Torpedine confirms that if there is a good relationship, the figure of the manager is of considerable importance. Below he talks about his experience with Pavarotti and the importance of having understood the success of combining classical music with pop music.

Interviews 05

But in my opinion, the interview where really important things were said, is this of the dear friend Marino Bartoletti.

At the beginning, Maggitti recalls the early days when Bertoletti came to Roseto, but then, confirming that for him this place has become a fixture, for him, he admits that the second reason for his coming is to re-embrace Gianluca Ginoble.
(His exact words.) “Everyone knows my respect for him, but I should say, my friendship, my affection for him.”

Maggitti’s question is very strong: “What has IL VOLO to do 11 consecutive world tours and still fills all the theaters and what is the appeal of you, great music expert and journalist, who talks about them as famous and well-liked in the world?”

Interviews 06

Bartoletti = I could answer you by reversing the question, that is, by asking me how there are still people (even our journalist colleagues) who still do not understand, this success of theirs and their talent. I admit, that I am attached to them by affection, friendship and admiration towards them, but they have everything that is asked of bel canto, skill, the ability to transmit the Italian genius abroad. But it’s the same Italian genius that should be better understood in Italy, and then I wonder, what else do these guys have to prove?

Interviews 07

They are boys who have reached their tenth year, and sold out everywhere, even here in Italy. I can only say that I admire them very much, that I admire their “spirit of sacrifice” which is extraordinary, because they could “sit on their laurels”, instead they continue to improve, to improve. This year they were very good, even in Sanremo, where they achieved third place, so very elegantly. I would like the Italian guys to look more like them, especially as the families of the Italian boys were more like the families of Gianluca, Piero and Ignazio, because I always say this publicly, that the strength of these guys is what they have behind them, family, culture, education, humility.

Interviews 08

I don’t know for you, but for me to read the beautiful and deserved words of Marino Bartoletti, towards IL VOLO, is like taking a sip of fresh and clear water, when you have a throat burned by thirst.

Thanks Marino, you are a true friend !!

MASSIMO RANIERI, A DEAR FRIEND by Daniela

Surely in these days, this beautiful photo has not escaped you, but perhaps (Italians aside), not everyone knows who this man is that warmly embraces Michele and Gianluca.

He is a very good singer, indeed a true complete artist.

For those who do not know him, Massimo Ranieri is a fantastic singer with excellent vocal talents, but also a good actor, a historian, in the true sense of the word.

The photo below has been posted by Ranieri himself, with a beautiful dedication.
He was in Roseto degli Abruzzi, for a concert, which was very successful. Michele and Gianluca also went to his concert.

Massimo 01

The dedication:

Ieri magnifica serata a Roseto degli Abruzzi in compagnia dei miei cari amici Gianluca Ginoble e Michele Torpedine.

Translation:

Yesterday wonderful evening in Roseto degli Abruzzi, in the company of my dear friends Gianluca Ginoble and Michele Torpedine.

Il Volo, in 2016, had already been a guest of a transmission conducted by Massimo Ranieri, entitled SOGNO O SON DESTO?

During that transmission, Gianluca showed the photo with Ranieri, whom he jealously kept in his cell phone.

Here is the video of the evening, it is not of excellent quality but it is seen and feels quite well.

Massimo, at the end of the song “QUANDO L’AMORE DIVENTA POESIA”, presents IL VOLO with these words, “Here they are, these three fantastic, wonderful boys”.

After the pleasantries, Massimo says he was moved when Gianluca showed him the photo, stored in his cell phone.

Massimo 02

There is a lot of respect and affection between Gianluca, Ignazio, Piero and Massimo Ranieri.

Another thing you may not know, is that the beautiful song “VENT’ANNI”, sung in concert in 2016 by Gianluca and Piero, is a song brought to success by a young Massimo Ranieri.

And here is the video of Massimo Ranieri who sings “VENT’ANNI” during Canzonissima (a transmission of songs) of 1970. Massimo was 19, the song was a great success.

And here, the beautiful words of the lyrics of the song.

VENT’ANNI

La mia vita cominciò
Come l’erba come il fiore
E mia madre mi baciò
Come fossi il primo amore

La la la la la
La la la la la

Nasce cosi
La vita mia
Come comincia
Una poesia

Io credo che lassù
C’era un sorriso anche per me
La stessa luce che
Si accende quando nasce un re

Una stella una chitarra
Primo amore biondo e mio
Con l’orgoglio dei vent’anni
Piansi, ma vi dissi addio

E me ne andai
Verso il destino
Con l’entusiasmo
Di un bambino

Io credo che lassù
C’era un sorriso anche per me
La stessa luce che

si accende quando nasce un re.

Io credo che lassù…..

Translation:

TWENTY YEARS

My life began
Like grass like a flower
And my mother kissed me
How I was the first love

La la la la
La la la la

Thus was born
My life
How it begins
A poem

I believe that up there
There was a smile for me too
The same light that
It lights up when a king is born

A star a guitar
First blonde love and mine
With the pride of twenty years
I cried, but I said you goodbye

And I left
To destiny
With enthusiasm
Of a child

I believe that up there
There was a smile for me too
The same light that

It lights up when a king is born

I believe that up there……

Massimo 03

Did you enjoy getting to know Massimo Ranieri better?

What do you think of his performance at 19?
