I would say that it is a very good result.

They talk about bel canto, and that they are ambassadors of Italy in the world, then about the new CD and the next tour in Canada-US, and then of the mini live event in Milan and the extraordinary presence of the people.
Manola asks how they manage to divide the parts of a song and they reply that there is no real division, only the verse is sung, which of the three can make it better, without any jealousy.
Piero says that they speak little of their beginnings, because as children, they were catapulted into an environment full of famous people in America and they didn’t realize this and when they tell it to others, they seem to say it to brag and the people does not believe that are truth, but there are photos to testify.
Then, Ignazioimitates Gianlucawho does something special with his ear and then says he is a nuisance.

Won IL VOLO, with “GRANDE AMORE”, all the finals where IL Volo was, were won hands down, and the grand final was won with 2600 votes, against 929 of the second classified.

Sunday 10 November, an instore, this time Milan, with a mini-live from the Mondadori balcony, overlooking Piazza del Duomo.
The whole week there was bad weather, rain and cold, but on Sunday a sun 🌞 and ablue sky welcomed our boys!
In this video, the boys say that they have just arrived in Milan and are waiting for the fans in Piazza Duomo.
And here they are, from the balcony where they performed, happy to show their NEW CD with a sea of people behind them in one of the most beautiful Italian squares.
Yes, among that multitude of people, I am there too, with my husband. We are there, impossible to recognize ourselves.
What a thrill, we arrived by train in Milan and, going up the underground staircase, and going out in front of the Duomo, white and magnificent that raises its spires in a preciousblue sky …… priceless.
As soon as we arrived in square, here they are, Ignazio, Piero and Gianluca, who face the balcony of the library, located in a beautiful old building, right next to the Duomo.
The square is full of people, not everyone is a fan. A lot of people are walking around Milan, but they stop to listen, and we are all with our noses up, listening to these beautiful voices, the arms at the top holding cell phones, intent on recording this beautiful event. Nobody moves, everyone looks up, wonderful.

After “IL MONDO”, the boys say goodbye and Piero says they are here because their new album celebrating their 10-year career was released the other day and this is their way of thanking them for their support.
Gianluca thanks everyone for being here.
Ignazio says that this year they were in Sanremo and presented a song that he likes very much, “MUSICA CHE RESTA”. (fans acclaim Ignazio)
Immediately thereafter follows “A CHI MI DICE”.
After the song, Gianluca says they want to remember one of the most exciting moments of their career, when they won the Sanremo festival in 2015.
Piero adds that it’s their way to greet everyone.
Gianluca adds that with this song they want to transmit all their “GRANDE AMORE” to us.

The day was beautiful, but when the sun went down, it started to get very cold. I was at the end of the long line, I was frozen, it was dark and there was still more than an hour waiting in the cold, and unfortunately also the train ride to return home. So, happy for the unexpected day (I wasn’t sure I could go to Milan), I returned home.

Gianluca states that Ignazio is the craziest of the three and Silvia responds ironically, that she didn’t understand it!
Gianluca says that without Ignazio, it would be a deadly bore, instead Piero jokingly says that are 10 years of endurance.
Silvia says they do everything together, travel together, eat together and Piero specifies ….. separate rooms. Piero confirms that they eat the same things and are intolerant to the same foods, then he says that they go to the gym and train together.
Gianluca says that they are profoundly different, but over the years the relationship has been strengthened.
Silvia asks if they fight and they say yes and Ignazio says that Piero and Gian are lower (shorter) because he hits them on the head. 😁
Piero says they argue but they don’t fight. Gian says that now they know what the things that annoy each other, and they avoid them.
Ignazio says that Gianluca is spiteful, while Piero is stubborn and wants to impose his ideas.
Then they talk about the physical aspect and say that Ignazio is happy with his newfound physical form and he says he is happy because he wants to show to those who have a physique like his, softer, which can get a slimmer shape.
Now Silvia faces the topic “girlfriends” and immediately tells Ignazio, whom she has read in some interviews, that he is looking for his girlfriend.
Ignazio replies that he is indeed for the family, and when he meets the right person he will be happy. Silvia asks him about his last girlfriend and he replies that he was very much in love, but then, as often happens, everything is over.
Silvia says it’s difficult for artists like them, always on tour to have a bond, Ignazio replies that it’s not easy, but it’s nice to leave and know that there is a person at home waiting for you. ❤️
Silvia asks if it is true that Ignazio also knows how to cook well and Piero replies that he does not like knowing what a dish is made of, but Ignazio must always explain it to him.
Then Piero says that he and Ignazio both live in Bologna and Ignazio, every now and then he sends him some ready-made food, just like a grandmother!!
Then Silvia asks if it’s true that they eat pasta before concerts and they confirm it, but three hours earlier.
Now Silvia, remembers Gianluca that last time he told him that he had a girlfriend and he confirms it and says that the girl becomes part of the family and she expects him, even if he stays out for months. Silvia asks for the name of the lucky one and Gianluca answers Francesca.❤️
Gianluca then, says that, they have learned to be selective with friendships and he says that boys of their age often confuse friendship with habit.
Silvia asks if the boys sleep close together and Piero says they have separate rooms well away from him, because Piero likes to sing when he takes a bath or a shower, so Gian and Ignazio want rooms far away from Piero.
Silvia takes a guitar and gives it to Ignazio, followed by a short performance of “Musica Che Resta”.
After playing the song, Silvia says she had goose bumps.
Silvia says she saw gestures of affection between them, so she asks if they really love each other. Gianluca confirms that they are like a big family, living their lives on two tracks, occasionally jumping on one or the other.
Speaking also of their daily life and studies. Piero confirms that he recently graduated, Gianluca admits to having only the first two years of gymnasium (classical high school).

Gianluca recalls that they have confirmed two new dates for Italy, Verona 30 August and Taormina 4 September for 2020. He says that they like to bring the beauty of Italy to their DVDs, in fact the last concert was done in the beautiful Matera . They confirm that their latest CD, IL VOLO The Best of 10 Years, was released all over the world on November 8th. Piero states that the Matera concert will be broadcast on Italian TV on Channel 5 on November 19th.

At this point, Silvia confirms the very important things, says that what is striking about the three of them, is that they are very different from their peers, who sometimes sing vulgarities, but they are very careful, good guys, guys of other times.
Piero says that they do not sing an ancient genre, but a classical genre, which never sets. It is the music that is part of the Italian cultural heritage, known to all, and they are only trying not to let it be forgotten and bring it to their peers.
Silvia confirms that they are really exemplary guys.
Ignatius says that they always try to give good examples.
They make the lives of three normal, regular, simple boys who convey love for what they do, and have gratitude for those who followed them from the beginning.
At this point Silvia proposes a very nice thing, the boys have to perform all the 19 songs on their CD in a minute.

The three singers Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble, “from strangers to brothers who grew up together”, apply as heirs of Pavarotti and Bocelli and reveal the 4 most beautiful moments, the “quarrels for some girl” and a surprise for Easter. The three singers will return to perform in Italy in the summer of 2020 for two special concerts, on August 30th at the Verona Arena and on September 4th at the Teatro Antico in Taormina: “They are special places for artists, we have opened the dates one year first to tell the fans of our country that we have not forgotten them.” Tickets will be available in advance for the fanclub from 11:00 tomorrow, Wednesday 6 November, and for everyone online from Thursday 14; while they will be in the stores from November 14th.
10 Years will be released in various versions, including one made ad hoc for the Latin and one Japanese market, enclosing the best of Il Volo’s repertoire, from “‘O Sole Mio” to “My Way” to “Grande Amore”, from bel canto of Italian tradition to American evergreens. Here is how the relationship between the three members has changed in this decade: “Ten years ago we were quite different, now we are very close. In the early years it was not easy because we have three different heads: the whims were a bit bad. We fight and we discuss, like all the brothers, even for some girls … Now the priority in our group is to maintain serenity. When one of the three is ill and we have to bring a concert home, true friendship comes out there.” Gianluca is the most susceptible: “I get nervous easily: it’s a beautiful life but staying out of the house for two months means finding things changed on the way back, in the family and out; I always carry the melancholy, which also allows me to convey emotions on stage.”
And the future? “Later we will think of a new album: we will evaluate whether it is right to do new works, covers or projects … We are already working on future works, we have done experiments but one thing is certain: we must remain ourselves. We tried to do more pop and lighter things, our age required it too, but we understood that our dimension is lyric pop. People appreciate cover more, like the Nessun Dorma: even if we are not tenors and we still have to study. The difficulty is to find authors who write songs for lyric pop and for Il Volo in particular. However we already have unpublished works that we will be recording soon. And there is a great idea for Easter …”
MUSICA CHE RESTA.Il Volo “brings the Italian tradition around the world, not the culture of Sfera Ebbasta (an Italian rapper) and the trap”, say the three singers, “We accept musical evolution and every genre, we listen to everything and we are not like this stick to the past. We really appreciate Salmo (another Italian rapper), for example.” Gianluca reveals: “My 19-year-old brother and I listen to that music: but the musical culture, from the Beatles to Lucio Battisti (known Italian pop singer), is important. During the soundcheck we sing Sting, Police, Pink … I am the farthest from the work of us three. Then I realized that the three tenors project was right: it was a great idea, it was our greatest success so far. I was looking for something more youthful, with different sounds and productions: instead maybe that is the most suitable way. This is our personality.”
Piero declares: “Today we should check some texts and messages that are sent to young people, because they are our future: we do not generalize and do not judge, but some texts should be checked first. In the world, Italy is always considered the first place for music and fashion.” Ignazio explains: “Some things should not be touched: La Boheme should be done with the orchestra and not with electronics; evolution is not always the right thing. We sing a classic genre, which therefore will never die: fashions pass instead. We try to make the classic modern, from the visual and sound point of view, without distorting the melodies .”

TOUR.Il Volo is back from a tour in Latin America in front of over 70 thousand fans in 17 concerts and ten-year celebrations that began in May 2019 with live shows in Japan: “It was a risk to go back to South America because there wasn’t a new album but they are lots of requests arrived and the lives were packed.” Piero recounts a curious anecdote: “I never carry documents with me at concerts, I leave everything in the safe in the hotel: in Guatemala, after the live, my briefcase with the documents was found in a mall. In the room there was the PC and the suitcase but not the safe: they had eradicated it but they were good, they took only the money …”
